Spoilers are welcome. I'll play the game many times anyway. Back to the Architect. This monster is more difficult than the Cardinal. I am level 20 and used N7 Piranha III, barricade and Flamethrower all developed completely. There was one time I saw its leg turned pinkish but I died too fast. So far no luck. Help ?

The basic idea to defeating an Architect is shoot it's leg sand then when it exposes it's head shoot that once you'v whittled it's health bars down interface with it to finish. Also don't forget to scan it once you get back on the Tempest as you can get some very valuable Remnant research points from doing so. It's a long process as it is a boss level enemy which does require a lot of dodging but if you'er patient enough they can be taken down but patience is the key to killing them. It is a 3 part fight though as you have to take each of it's 3 legs out. To interface with it after you've brought it down just walk up to it's head and hit your interact button also you need to bring a long range weapon to the fight because Shotguns will not work. Doesn't matter if it's an Assault rifle or a sniper as either will work but shotguns will not do the job. Shotguns work best in areas where you need to do close quarters combat such as say the Archon' s ship or something

"Beamed" Hornet with +25 shield ripping with disruptor ammo makes the job easy on normal. Hurricane with millions of sticky grenades works for the minions .. on normal. Lets see how on harder... later on. Why am I... speaking like... Shatner?

So do you think without ammo I can kill off one of its leg, then back out to get more ammo, come back to kill its another leg ?

Is there any ammo around the monster ? No. At least in Eos there is, but they're a bit "back" there "hidden" behind all the strange angular structures.

I think there's always ammo somewhere close. On Voeld it's in the nearby structures, for instance.

When I run into a problem, I always find it useful to take a look on youtube. You'll probably find thousand of vids, but in this case, here my way of making this fight easier:
If you deal enough DPS, the architect won't attack you, as you can see in the above vid for the second and third leg. I play on Insanity, Level 15 with a crafted Level 3 Dhan.

Personal preference - most Architects seem to have easiest first spot with progressively more difficult spots (in terms of cover/ammo) for the next two landings. So I tend to get all 3 legs to 5% health (usually with sniper rifle, as it allows me to keep large distance between myself and it) before killing off a leg and letting it fly off. Eos Architect first spawn location has forward station in range which guarantees unlimited ammo and healing, so only thing you need to worry is getting one shot (which will happen often, especially at higher difficulties).
He has 3 attacks (4 if you count summon during transitions): 1) pew pew laser which does a crap ton of damage if you are the target and not in cover 2) Grenade spray which will do massive AE damage and likely kill you if you don't move away from them 3) Long wind up large area attack which goes through all obstacles.
For general strategy - find a spot where you can move between 2-3 covers. Swap covers when either grenaded or AE attacked. Shoot at legs. Catch the pace and attack when it is either busy shooting a squad mate or winding up. Do not wait for it to wind up the large AE attack, move first then shoot. Sniper rifle is my preferred method, but I tend to play it safe and run an infiltrator on insanity so I can easily relocate and spike damage things with tac cloak.

My suggestion is to attack more than one leg during the first stage. That way when you get to the two later stages when the difficulty increases you'll have to deal less damage to complete each stage.

Is there any ammo around the monster ? There are ammo boxes scattered around the areas in which you find the architects. One issue I've had has been getting close to an ammo box while moving around when I'm not really down on ammo - triggering a reload for only a couple of rounds and then having the ammo boxes be empty when I really need ammo. A good strategy is to carry one infinite ammo (remnant) weapon or a weapon modded with either a vintage heat sink or a bio-converter. This at least insures that you'll always have a weapon to fall back on.

Assaut riffle are more useful for this kind of opponent as they have longer range (not like the shotgun) and good fire rates (not like many sniper rifle).
