I'm just curious (And bored) what you guys listen to. It can be a song/s or an artist/group/s. I'll go first, i'll list a couple because I have too many to list. And figure I give a general idea of what I typically listen to Sonata Arctica Apulanta - Vasten Mun Kasvojani Tonight alive - the edge The wreckage - breaking through lansdowne - burn brighter Within Temptation - Jillian, what have you done, shot in the dark, etc Nightwish Amaranthe Five finger death punch Apocalyptica Skillet Escape the fate - one for the money Blue Stahli - Enemy (At 1.25 speed) Starset Youth In Revolt - Don't Wait For Me Saliva - Weight of the world, Always Datascape - Tomorrow never comes Thousand foot krutch No resolve - Get me out The rasmus - in the shadows KORPIKLAANI - Vodka

Usually something without words and sci-fi Mass Effect like;
So I'll take a song like this and see what Youtube recommends for playlist and see what other great songs this leads too. Might list a few other great songs I've discovered this way.

So... Finns make not just killer music, but also killing music. I'd like to add a headbanger \m/ emoji here, but this is the closest one, . At least it is called '.banghead.' . And to answer the question, the only thign I listen to while ME3MPing, is the sweet music that enemy deaths make. And booms. And other nice effect sounds.

I'm useless without my game sounds.
Good headset = win.
Music instead of game sounds = dead.
Unless I am friends with the person broadcasting music in a game, I usually quit the second I hear the music.

Today I was listening to some Killswitch Engaged, Nightwish, Ayreon, Metallica. Yesterday it was Kiske/Somerville. But normally it tends to be Hardcore/Hardstyle, as it is the least distracting for me.

I usually don't listen to music while playing ME3MP as I find it distracting. I did however recently listen a lot to SOLAR FIELDS (especially the Mirror's Edge Catalyst Soundtrack) while playing Fallout Shelter.

I always have something playing in the background unless it's a narrative-heavy game that I'm playing for the first time. Whether it's music, a podcast, a stream, I have to have something going in the background. Even back when I played on PS3 five years ago, I almost always had a pair of earbuds in under my headphones so I could listen to music while playing. Helps fill all the downtime between waves and matches, and tends to keep my mood up in those cases where I have to slog through bad randoms.
As for what I listen to - when it's music it's mostly metal, hip hop, and a bit of blues rock sprinkled in (think Hendrix/SRV). Not as big on podcasts as I used to be, but I still listen to Painkiller Already fairly regularly.
