I just wanted to get an idea of what everyone's high-point was across all the DA titles.
I only played DA: Origins once, so I don't remember all that much about it. With that said, I do remember enjoying the Deep Roads portion of the game. For DA2, I don't necessarily have an area that I liked, but I did enjoy the Fanriel mission. The Fade is always an interesting place to visit, and I liked the interactions we and our companions had with the various demons. Finally, for Inquisition, hands down it's Crestwood. That whole area in fact. It had good pacing, it didn't hold your hand, you had a good balance of combat and world building, the entire landscape changed because of your actions (closing the rift), you got to see what transpired - previously - in the area, and it came to a solid conclusion (regarding how the mayor sacrificed the town).
I especially hope Bioware looks at what they did with Crestwood so they at least understand the formula for what makes a good story mission.

DAO - favourite area was The Gauntlet; I really enjoyed the high fantasy setting of it. Favourite mission/quest would probably be Prison Break, purely for the comedy potential and the myriad ways to complete it. DA2 - favourite area....I guess the area Legacy was set in? Don't remember the name of it, but liked how it was not Kirkwall, Sundermount or the Wounded Coast Favourite mission....not sure, but probably the final main quest of Act 2, where you went into combat with the Arishok. Honestly, for me, the quests were not a strong point of DA2. DAI - favourite area is tough. Really tough, since they were almost all stunning and visually interesting. But forced to choose....the Emerald Graves, by a whisker over Emprise du Lion. Favourite quest is easy. In Your Heart Shall Burn. I enjoyed all of the main quests in DAI, but it's not even close.

DAO Favourite area would have been the deep roads. Specifically the build up to the broodmothers lair. Very creepy and they built up the suspense really well - it gave more context to how horrifying and cruel the blight is. The rest of the deep roads were a bit of a slog however. Favourite quest would be the battle of denerim i think. It was the perfect climax, everything you had done had led to this moment. All your companions fought by your side and you saw how ruined each of denerim's areas had become.
DA2 Favourite area is pretty tough for obvious reasons. I dunno honestly. Favourite quest would be All that Remains. I cry every time.
DAI Favourite area would be Crestwood. It's the best paced area in the whole game, and i liked the mayors backstory. Favourite quest is in your heart shall burn. It's the inquisitions first (and only) loss. You find out the extent of what you are fighting in the worst way possible.

DAO: Favorite area: Denerim. It`s hard to choose only one favorite quest so i`ll choose the ones attached to Redcliffe (attack at Redcliffe+the Arl of Redcliffe+The Urn of Sacred Ashes) and all the Origin quests.
DAII: Favorite areas: Lowtown and Hightown. Favorite quest: Legacy.
DAI: Favorite area: Crestwood. Favorite quests: In Hushed Whispers and Here Lies the Abyss.

Well, I did least favorite in the other thread so only fair I do this one too.
DAO Area: Deep Roads Quest: Origin story
DA2 Area: The Wounded Coast, where Hawke at least tries to get away from it all Quest: Act 2 finale - is that Demands of the Qun?
DAI Area: Western Approach Quest: In Your Heart Shall Burn (up to finding Skyhold)

I've never bought any of the Dragon Age DLC's. What was the quality of them? If you need me to be more specific, how about Inquisitions DLC? In general, they're quite good. The DA:O DLC were more a mixed bag as many of them reused the same maps as the core game. The Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt have their moments though. The Awakenings expansion on the other hand is really good. For DA2, while Mark of the Assassin and Legacy have their flaws, I think overall they were both a marked improvement over DA:O's DLC. In DA:I, Trespasser is pretty much essential, and IMO DA's best DLC so far. Jaws of Hakkon is also quite good. The Frostback Basin location, the more challenging fights, getting to know the Avvar culture better, and the previous Inquisitor Ameridan... it's a very solid DLC. The Descent IMO is the weakest of the three. If you're deep into the dwarven lore and like getting hints to things that'll likely be important in future games - it is a good DLC for that. But I thought it was bit of a slog otherwise, with a dull boss fight at the end. Although the Wellspring location itself is gorgeous - kudos to the level design team there.

DAO: Favorite area is probably Orzammar in general. The contrast between the Diamond Quarter and Dust town, the pub with that drunk dwarf who's muttering either dwarvish or some drunkard language, and especially the town criers throughout the quest arc all set the atmosphere for me. My favorite quest is probably Paragon of her Kind, specifically Hespith's chanting up to the broodmother reveal. Very creepy.
DA2: Hmm favorite area is tougher here. Probably Lowtown, but more because I associate it with Hawke's time in the slums. Favorite quest is the Act 2 finale starting with the confrontation with the Arishok in his compound.
DAI: Haven't played.

DA:O Favourite Area: The Deep Roads! Even the boring bits Favourite Quest: A Paragon of her Kind. I really enjoyed all the dwarven content.
DAII Area: Maybe the Primeval Thaig...? That or the Legacy area. Quest: Legacy. Varric's haunted house quest gets an honourable mention though.
DA:I Area: The Fallow Mire - the atmosphere was brilliant, very unnerving, all that lightning and rain really made you want to hunker down. I also liked how it was fairly linear and wasn't overstuffed with side quests.
Quest: This is the most difficult one...I loved the lore in The Descent, however for the pure feels I guess it'd have to be In Your Heart Shall Burn.

Origins favorite quest: A paragon of her kind. Origins favorite place: a tie between the deep roads and mountain top. (Dragon lair) DA2 favorite quest: I can only remember a handful of quests - I have to go with the one where you can either arrest or kill that disgusting Elf killer. DA2 favorite place: One of the repetitive caves? I only remember those and Kirkwall and I didn't like either. Inquisition favorite quest: does the Cassandra romance count as quest? If not: Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts Inquisition favorite place: Haven was a really well designed little cozy town that had a great atmosphere, an atmosphere I wished kept continuing into the rest of the game. I wish Haven would have been the hub, I liked it much better than Skyhold or any other area in the game.

I wish Haven would have been the hub, I liked it much better than Skyhold or any other area in the game. Skyhold would have been better without all the loading screens, and having to open 900 doors to get anywhere. This plus I kind of dislike playing a protagonist who displays their power in such obvious, open and glamorous ways. Its a personal thing, I much prefer playing it down and keeping it simple, despite wielding a lot of power. Haven would have been perfect for that. I like playing it down and being more humble about it. Like a very powerful general who isn't snobby and aloof living in an ivory tower but one who actually sleeps in the same tents and places as his soldiers and worries about ramparts and fortifications rather than fancy decorations and planting freaking gardens.

DAO Quest: first day the come and catch every one.. A Paragon of Her Kind. I loved so many quests in DAO but this one had the right balance of atmosphere, interesting fights, lore and drama. DAO Area: This is tougher but ultimately I'd say Orzammer was a really great area, espeacially for a dwarven noble - every conversation upon coming back gets you in the heart place.
DA2 Quest: All that Remains, first time a video game made me cry DA2 Area: Chateau Haine & surrounds
DAI Quest: What Pride Has Wrought, with Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts rounding a close second. DAI Area: The deeproads/titan areas in Descent were gorgeous! And I loved investigating and uncovering lore in them. This dlc convinced me it was possible to have a dwarf/deeproads based main Dragon Age game.

DA:O Place: Brecilian Forest Quest: Leliana's song. Loved the music, loved the chance to learn more about her background.
Also, all the Origin quests. They feel like mini adventures and they give you a great introduction to your character and the culture of their race/social status.
DA2 Place: Chateau Haine Quest: Legacy or Fenris’ personal quests
DA:I Place: Frostback Basin: Loved learning more about the Avvar and their culture. Loved the aesthetics of the area in general. Quest: The main quest line in JOH. Playing as a Dalish Inquisitor, it was great to discover the truth about Ameridan. I just loved everything about this DLC.

Origins: Denerim... or Orzammar. Maybe the Brecellian Forest. Or wait, uh, Redcliffe. It's hard to pick a single favorite. The tone and the look and feel of all the locations are so superb and have so much of that Dragon Age-ness. I will tentatively say that Denerim is my favorite. And my favorite quests are either Broken Circle or A Village Under Siege in Redcliffe. Both these quests had what I love most in fantasy: huge scale, desperate circumstances and an epic confrontation with the supernatural. The tone, pacing and action in both these quests is superb. Especially Broken Circle, I don't think Dragon Age has a quest that feels as epic or that left me feeling as fatigued and accomplished.
Inquisition: The Frostback Basin is probably my favorite area. It actually felt relatively alive, which I wouldn't say for most of this game's locations. Loved the Avvar and how they filled the space. The environment itself is lush and full of things to take a stab at. Even though I kinda hate fighting spiders every ten feet.
My favorite quest is harder. There are a few really epic ones. In Your Heart Shall Burn was pretty damn great. The epicness of the looming confrontation, the strange appearance of Dorian/Cole. The overwhelming darkness that engulfs the main narrative as we really get a taste of what we're up against. And the major shakeups that follow. In Hushed Whispers was like something out of a comic book. Like one of those ultra-dark alternate universe stories they do every once in awhile where Joker is a god-emperor or Superman is destroying the world. To see the actual stakes of the war with Corypheus was a great rally and really injected some more urgency into the main plot. Finally, What Pride Had Wrought is where I actually felt like the for real actual goddamn Inquisitor for the first time. Hunting my enemies, leading an army into battle. Magicking up and down the forest stream, leaving destruction in my wake - and then the temple of Mythal as everything that good fantasy promises. Ancient Alien Secrets and things you thought were long dead.
Hmm. Yeah, I'm gonna go with WPHW as my favorite quest
Ohhh no, it's probably The Descent honestly. Yeah it's the Descent.

This is tough for me because I haven't replayed DAO in years and I tend to forget details quickly. So I had to look stuff up. I really don't remember anymore if I liked some parts a lot more than others. So here's an attempt: DAO: area - Orzammar, Denerim, Brecilian Forest quest - Broken Circle, A Paragon Of Her Kind, Nature of The Beast DA2: area - The Hanged Man, parts of the Deep Roads quest - All That Remains, Shepherding Wolves, Demands Of The Qun, both DLC DAI: area - Frostback, Storm Coast, Forbidden Oasis, Winter Palace, Emprise Du Lion (loved pretty much all areas, including Hissing Wastes!) quest - What Pride Has Wrought (by far the best part of the game!), Wicked Eyes & Wicked Hearts, Here Lies The Abyss, Trespasser DLC

There were at least a couple of favorite missions and areas in each games for me. In DAO, For mission, Redcliffe siege. I was so pleased to see all the people I have recruited or forced to join the fight were present in the fight. It made the experience a lot bearable amidst all those creepy undead coming from every directions. I was also relieved that they all survived. Due to Morrigan/Wynne spamming heals, of course. For area? The Deep Roads. It was an amazing and scary experience. I felt the overwhelming sense of venturing into a horrifying territory. In DA2, I guess it has to be Mark of the Assassin areas. I loved the parties and infiltrating the chateau at night. For mission? Forking All That Remains! That mission made the game totally unplayable for me. I was totally depressed for a few days. In DAI, Clearly it is difficult to choose between Wicked Eyes and In Your Heart Shall Burn. I loved the atmosphere of the Winter Palace at night during Wicked Eyes. The music was also ethereal. I will never get bored of that mission. In Your Heart Shall Burn beats it out in terms of everything, I guess. After closing the breach, they started to celebrate. It was all feel good experience. And then, the hell broke loose with enemies started appearing with the torches. I had the immediate flashbacks to Redcliffe siege! The night setting made it more dramatic. It was a montage of intense experience after intense experience. I lost it when Mother Giselle started singing The Dawn Will Come, then Skyhold journey came and I went mad. And that music has be the best a DA game can offer. The Deep Roads in The Descent dlc might be my favorite area. Even though it wasn't like the Orzammar's Deep Roads areas that gave me the overwhelming sense of dread, it was replaced with the wonder of exploring into a totally unknown depths. The Vestibule of the Pure had me get my jaw dropped.

Favourite area in DAO was Orzammar. I generally enjoyed dwarven culture and architeture. Ironically, it's the location of two of the maps I hate the most. Namely the deep roads and the Carta hideout. Favourite quest was the landsmeet. The confrontation with Loghain is one of my favourite moments in the game.
Favourite location in DA2 was the Chateau in Mota. After that, I kind of liked the wounded coast honestly. There was something outworldly about that place. The subtle jungle beat playing in the background. The feeling of desolation walking by the deserted beach. It was... unique. And Favourite quest was the Qunari siege in Act 2. that was the absolute best DA2 had to offer as far as story goes.
Favourite location in DAI... hard to say. everything looks good. I would say the map in Jaws of Hakkon. Really good design overal. Favourite quest was here lies the abyss. It was the only moment Inquisition felt like a true dark fantasy.

DAO: - Favourite area: Denerim - Fvourite quest: The fade. I think the dreamy feel atmosphere of the fade is pretty cool and you get to see and understand more thoroughly your companions' fears, desires, and regrets. I really enjoyed The Gauntlet as well, as someone already said, the fantastic feel was spectacular. DA2 - Favourite area: That's a tough one... Kirkwall, maybe? -Favourite quest: Fenris' personal quests or All that remains; seeing my champions' mother that way... It was so heartbreaking and fucked up. Plus, I think you realize how much of a shithole Kirkwall is, one they touch your family, there's no turning back. I can't say it was my favourite part bc it was so heartbreaking but it definitely was one of the most striking and memorable ones. DAI No idea, I'm starting it today!
