In all the topics we've had, I haven't seen one wholly dedicated to the "Endgame" aspect of Anthem. For those who aren't familiar with what the term implies, "Endgame" is a colloquial term used to describe portions of the game that provide players a greater degree of challenge, but also significantly better rewards. Normally, the items that can be found in the endgame are contained to a set number of activities (these activities becoming available once the player hits a specific threshold), and have unique aspects to them that sets them apart from other items (loot) in the game.
Getting on to the question, me personally, I just want an endgame that's fun and replayable. Loot comes and goes, but if I can continue to keep coming back to an activity, than I say it was a great endgame experience.

As an FYI for people who have seen this word pop up in a lot of the more recent interviews, EA (and therefore our leadership team) likes to use the term 'Elder Game' for this same thing... not sure where it came from because I have always called it Endgame

For me, a great endgame experience should give me a reason to play every day, an incentive to play activities on a daily/weekly basis, and the activities themselves have great rewards
While it remains to be seen how storytelling will turn out at launch, my interest in Anthem is more into whether it will give me reasons to keep playing even after completing the critical story path. And given its a looter shooter, its in the best interest to have an engaging endgame experience.

For me, "a great endgame/elder game experience" is about keeping it fresh. New story content. New NPCs. New location(s). New antagonists. Just grinding out fights with more powerful versions of the same things you were fighting throughout the game already just for better gear to fight even more powerful versions of the same things you've been fighting all along... doesn't really hold my interest. This is what wound up souring me on MH:W. Farming Tempered Ash Titans for gear to just to fight Arch-Tempered Ash Titans? I don't think I have the temperament for that. One other thing I feel few games do well is allowing you to enjoy the fruits of your labours as it were. How does the world change after the "final battle"? You just spent 100+ hours saving the world - you should have the chance to bask in the glow of your victory a little.

When gameplay is it's own reward. This. I liked dropping in on Destiny when I had a spare 15-20 minutes to kill, and just pounded evil aliens into the ground. So satisfying. Didn't really care about progression (was level capped anyway) or loot. Oh, and Arena Mode. Can still be PvE, that's fine: The Witcher 2, NieR:Automata and God of War 2018 all had PvE arenas. Not to mention ME3. I even enjoyed the arena in DAI Jaws of Hakkon and was bummed I could only run it twice. ARMAX ARSENAL ARENA FTW!!! EDIT: Another "Oh, and ..." / Assuming this is not already in Free Play mode: Jetpack obstacle courses, ala Batman: Arkham City. And since this is co-op, can be 4-way races. Some courses would be no Storm javelins allowed, others would be special Storm challenges, like you have to lighting bolt some obstacles out of the way. And as a variant on that, treasure hunts, in the traditional sense. Start with a clue, find the treasure, gives you a clue to the next one, etc. Preferably not timed though, more as an incentive to see the world.

Story and map expansions, new enemy and monster variants, new and cool weapon variants, PvE team and solo arena challenges, PvP races, interesting random encounters that increase your standing in Fort Tarsis (rescues, enemy ambushes, puzzle solving for UR shaper tech and lore, quests for lost/hidden things with unique items, etc...) This assumes an enjoyable, well-crafted combat system that challenges so we're inclined to continue playing.

Pretty much the archetypal loot game is Diablo, which was big on NG+. I don't expect it, but I don't see any reason not to argue for something better than the standard MMO stuff.

If gameplay fun im fine repeating missions on higher difficulties, exploring, pugging SH an hopefully there is specific loot only tied to a certain SH or boss that gives me something to aim or try for, i find a boss with no specific loot tied to him/her/it a very sad boss indeed. So have the missions with a difficulty that only comes available at end/elder game, something like Divisions challenging unlocking when you hit 30 but hopefully with alot more missions with it available.
Difficulty an tactics, im no exactly worried though i do feel the difficulty in there SP is a joke that said there Online stuff ranging from SWTOR to MEMP is actually no bad an, for me, has a nice balance between challenge an fun.
With all the effects an elemental dmg we been seeing something akin to Destiny's Nightfall could be nice with mobs being resistant or weak to types with emphasis on teamplay for setting combos, like fire does zero dmg but primes them for huge dmg from another type so yeah im hoping the combo's just aint for show an ppl need to use that shit on higher difficulties

In my experience, endgame usually means getting on the gear treadmill which I can't stand. From what has been said, that is what this will be. I mostly play mmorpgs (wow, ffxiv, lotro, etc) all of which have the gear treadmill. For many, that is where the game begins but, that is where it ends for me. I either roll an alt or drop it until the next content update that drops more story.

Accessibility. I have played World of Warcraft pretty much on and off since Day 1 and one thing I have really thought was a good idea is how they have changed how people can access the later parts of the game. I enjoyed the evolution their grouping content has taken over the years with additions like group finders for dungeons and then raids and then the different tiers of content so everyone can experience it if they want to. They might not have the best of the best gear, but at least everyone can experience it. Arbitrary restrictions cause people to leave the game because they feel there is nothing to do and when people start leaving because of that there is no guarantee that they will ever come back.
Regularity. The other thing is that whatever type of content that will be added to the game there should be some regularity to it. From it being things like the Weekend Events from Mass Effect 3 or Seasons in Diablo 3 there doesn't need to be a major update of content, just something that gives players objectives for things to do. I know with Mass Effect 3 when the weekend events stopped it was only a month or so before I stopped playing ME3MP or when I finish a season with Diablo 3 I stop playing until the next season I play the game for the gap can be large enough I skip coming back for some seasonal content.

Repeatable content that doesn't become boring after the 3rd time partaking in the activity.
I'd like to see a factor of randomness for the endgame, similar to how WoW does their Mythic+ keys/dungeons with the random modifiers.
Also some form of randomness for the activity itself, maybe make some areas open up only certain hours of the day/month/year and/or require some previous achievement/item/action within the dungeon to gain access to them.
With that said and through private conversations with various devs, I'm happy that Bioware seems to have thought ahead and stronghold/"raids" won't get 100% beaten and speed-ran within a week of the first person hitting max level.
The game is HARD and the videos do it no justice so far. Besides showcasing the graphics and artstyle ofc.

One of the better additions to DA:I was the trials, basically modifiers your asking for BaGGs, hopefully something similar can/could get added to higher difficulties, elemental resists, more dmg while airbournef etc etc, it certainly spice encounters up

While I know Anthem is gonna be a game without "ending", I'd like to put forward the greatest game endings or rewards might not be gear or such petty things rather than:
