No one seems to know and I cannot find anything on the internet. I am playing Odyssey at present so will do that one first. Ok thanks. I have Valhalla loaded but doing Odyssey first sounds right. Apparently there is a Kassandra/Alexis and Eivor crossover?? Yes definitely for Valhalla but I am not sure for Odyssey it's a bit confusing.

I've had two crashes so far in the new story, one during an investigation, and the other following a cutscene shortly after.

I spent about 3 hours on the Greek side of the story and finished. That was impressive for coming 3 years after release and being completely free. There's a couple really powerful weapons that'd be useful getting early on if a person was just starting the game. And I liked the story overall. It sets up Kassandra's appearance in England and lays out her mission. Plus it was a nice bit of nostalgia with Barnabas and Herodotus.

I had only 30 minutes of time to run around the Odyssey DLC.
I loved being back with Kass for a new adventure. The humor is still there.
I am ashamed to say I would pay 70 bucks or more for a new Kass game.

Anyone know how to access the Odyssey DLC? I cannot see anything on the map and I cannot see anything in the menus. Haven't downloaded it yet, but saw online that you have to go to Sami in southern Kephallonia and find "A Great Escape" Quite a chonky download, but thanks for the heads up. Will have a look for it. I hope you don't need an endgame save, I'm already on NG+ with a long way to go yet and I don't fancy going back to my old one. I noticed they updated the splash screen with a button that takes you to the store to buy other AC games. I'm still working on Origins DLC as well but I'll likely get Valhalla at some point. If only to try and explore East Anglia and see local landmarks
Yesterday was reset day so I bought the Shark horse from the Orichalcum dude, I already have the other offering.
Then I went and did the daily and two weeklies. Messed up the pirate ship bounty to start with but got it second go. That'll teach me to swim over to the objective and surprise them . As I jumped from the target ship to one of the others I got glitched in a flailing animation, then died suddenly. Killing Athenian leaders was fairly straightforward and I finished off the extra marksmen I needed by sauntering into Athenian camps for the faction battles, stabbed the marksmen and ran like hell
I ought to get some pics added, this game is gorgeous. Who need holidays in the Med during covid times when I can eat a kebab from my local while exploring the white sands of ancient Greece?
(Actually that would be really nice tbh, who am I kidding?)

So...Odyssey part first? Or do we think it doesn't really matter? Will have a look for it. I hope you don't need an endgame save I'm not sure - since I haven't played it yet - but I'm sure I read you could play it any time after an early mission, but that there are endgame spoilers for Odyssey (which only matters if you haven't already finished it, of course).

So...Odyssey part first? Or do we think it doesn't really matter? I would guess so. The Odyssey story seems standalone at the beginning. I didn't get the sense that I'd missed out on some backstory, if that makes sense.

I am playing a NG+ game and apparently I deleted my original game with Alexios. Can I still access the dlc or is it accessible only after completion? REGARDING THE ACOD DLC this is from Uplay News Section "To Play “Those Who Are Treasured” in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: If you have finished the game: Once you have completed the three main questlines of the game (Family, Cult of Kosmos, and Mythology) and the epilogue, a new quest, “The Great Escape,” will appear in your quests and world map. If you have not finished the game: While we recommend completing the main game before jumping into “Those Who Are Treasured,” it is possible to access this story after completing Chapter 1 and reaching Megaris. Find the quest giver in Sami, the port located on the island of Kephallonia, to unlock this story. From there, you will begin the quest “The Great Escape.” Please note that this new story contains major spoilers for those that have not finished the main content of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey."

So MAJOR SPOILERS re the DLC. Completed the DLC yesterday and I thought it was really good, I even got excited trying to find Orichalcum again. As usual Melssanthi Mahut nailed Kass's voice acting and it was good to be exposed to new situations involving Kassandra's sense of humour and sarcastic remarks. It was fun to explore a new island even though there was not a lot different to most of the others. I managed to complete the Ostraka puzzles Barnabas and Herodotos created with only having to look up one location of the five which is REALLY good for me. I really liked the end game story and was genuinely concerned for both Herodotos and Barnabas and may have shed a tear when Kassandra delivered Herodotos's writings to the Great Library of Alexandria. Will post some images later, imgur is broken.

For me, it showed Kass taking the manuscript and talking about seeing Egypt, but not actually going. Do I have to play Eivor's part to see that? Edit: Nevermind, it's after the credits.

It seems they even used Origins to make that final scene. The graphics and lighting didn't match Odyssey, but looked like Origins. That was a nice touch.
And it was nice that it gave an explanation for why she gave up her grandfather's spear.
I'm curious what happens if you choose the spear instead of the artifact for that last choice.
