So jumped in and did the weekly and the daily today. Wasn't too onerous except for the 15 Spartan kills with a staff, it's just such a slow weapon and painful when you don't have points in it.
The other part was 15 Spartan Kills with a Sword, over in no time and kill 2 Spartan leaders. Feel sorry for the Spartan leader in Phokis, he's been killed a few times, surprised anyone takes the job.
Loot from Oikos is a Liuetenant I hadn't heard of before he ha decent stats and a pair of boots called The Wild Hunt, don't think I have any other piece of that set if it is a set.

Again - stun arrows, hit all stunned enemies once with a staff = profit. Done in 2 minutes tops.

I did the first 5 with stun arrows but was in a fort and got overwhelmed. 🙄😜

That's when my Hunter Crit build with Multishot shines. Vantage point, have the most targets in sight, go nuts. I think with a proper alert and positioning you can stun an entire fort in a minute or so.

I am so out of touch didn't even think of that, keep forgetting multi-shot in HZD as well. 🤔

I like using Ghost Arrow for the leaders. Get far away from their forts and then eliminate the objective. The other two was a round of combat in the arena for each without any problem.
Pretty sure Odyssey's days on my PC are limited. Just been doing the dailies for the last couple of months and I think that is mostly due to not wanting to miss out of the weekly offers. I have been playing Origins a lot more recently and been enjoying that a lot more, the only thing I dislike about Origins are the "boss encounters" since they put you into situations where your skills and items mean nothing meaning for me at least the strategies I had been using for dozens of hours doesn't work.

Yeah I feel I have moved on but the FOMO keeps me doing the weekly. I have spent a fair whack of Ori lately though, may need to do the daily's for a while plus that'd keep my hand in as well. Don't want to go cold into Valhalla either but...... Will be finished my current PT of HZD and then the DLC pretty soon, don't see myself playing it again so maybe just pick ACOD up again, just not sure.

I haven't gotten to play all week until today. Pretty sure I pissed off Hades twice, but then he won another bet, so we'll see where that leaves me. I was surprised to feel torn on
Elpenor's fate. Kass kicked him into Tartaros, but then I felt bad about doing that.
And then I remembered that it doesn't matter anyway, since Kass is back in Greece playing a simulation The "real" Elpenor is not affected by this decision in any way. And neither were poor Phoibe or Brasidas.
Anyway, I bought the Ezio trilogy for only $18 today thanks to the sale, so if this DLC ever ends, I'll start AC2 next.
You don't have a grenade launcher, lady. Get lost.

I kicked him into Tartaros as well well he deserves it!!!!!
The Ezio games are great but be prepared for a huge step back in terms of quality in terms of movement and combat if you are playing on PC. I played AC3 (Connor) first and even stepping back from there was a bit of a moment.

Well worth playing though.
I assumed the earlier games would be more in the style of Syndicate as far as movement and combat, except with worse graphics Or are they a big step back from even that?

Huge step back from Syndicate. Though I'd say at least kind of on the same field.

If you are good at using multiple keys, not too much of a problem and combat is much simpler but not as dynamic and fun is how I'd put it. Ezio more than makes up for a lot of the other stuff.
I don't want to put you off they are great games but be prepared for an adjustment period.
Jumped back into this after a long hiatus. I'm really liking it so far. I just beat the Athenians in the first battle, then I sail to another island, check out the job board, and now there's jobs to help them. I suppose being a mercenary means I can do what I want but I'm unsure if I should be trying to build up loyalty. I decided not to fight my 'dad'. The scene with him was really well done. Good dialog and the voice acting was spot on. I wish all the story was delivered on that level. Also, the ship battles and sailing are a technical marvel. No other game comes close except Origins.

I still think AC Black Flag did the sailing better, sailing combat was excellent.

Rogue was better at sailing. It took BF and improved upon it. Plus the Morrigan was a more fun ship to use that the Jackdaw.

Kassandra just got to Atlantis and spoke to Poseidon and Atlas. It's so pretty there I might die from eye candy overconsumption.
1. What happened to Hades at the end of episode 2 with the golden circles (or glyphs)? I thought I would get to ask Poseidon, but no. So I guess it was supposed to be obvious?

That is a huge part of it, and is the reason for me, but there is also more to come that causes dislike.
Gotcha. Her under-reaction to what she did is pretty damning already. Can't wait to see how much worse she gets O.o
How many of the past games have you played? That’ll determine how much the other thing many don’t like will affect you.
But yeah, her immediately being over it and blaming everyone and everything but herself made me despise her. A shame since before this DLC she was my favorite MD protagonist (not that there was much competition lol).

...murdered Victoria and then didn't seem too beat up about it?
...or is there more coming from her?
Did you not have to fight Hades?
Layla just is terribly acted and her actions are slightly ridiculous IMO.
Pretty much - Odyssey is my first AC game. I get that the modern day stuff is a big deal for the story, but I was just bored. Would've preferred cutscenes, rather than it being playable.

This is what I wrestle with, even after playing a bunch of AC games now.
Yeah, the modern day elements - Assassins, Templars, Abstergo, the Animus, etc. are core to the franchise. And yet none of the AC games I've played felt like they were improved for having them. I'd burn Abstergo Entertainment to the ground if it meant I never had to hack another computer!
See this is why I shrug at the whole Layla drama. I'm just not invested enough in it.
