Mmmm maybe my memory is going but jumped in to do last weeks weekly and accepted the quests from the message board and it told me to sink 10 pirate ships, 10 Spartan ships and 10 Athenian ships but when I opened the quest it said i had already sunk of 8/10 of 7/10 and 7/10 but I haven't played since last weeks weekly????? Then the daily I assume was to sink 5 Pirate ships and then without having even gotten on the Adrestia it changed to 4/5 already having been sunk????? Well anyway it made for short quests so not complaining. The AI took over covertly. Or you just went on a drunk rampage in the Aegean with no memories after. Happened to everyone of us, amirite? You are right me hearty

Cool a crew that I don't have.
Aaagh damn Ares followers, stupid caves. I always feel bad killing Daughters of Artemis, especially having taken control of them.

I decided to spend some of my Ubisoft Club points and picked up Bayek and Aya as Legendary lieutenants for the Adrestia. Then, Kassandra wandered the Greek world, seeing the sights, until she came across the village that worships her. Decided that the "priestesses" would be better off rowing down the Styx.
Then headed north, to meet up with Thespis and help him with his talent issue. 2 down, 1 to go (the religious nut). This time instead of working off the debt of the gambling actor, I just offered the part to the Commander that owned him. Fighting him seemed like it would be more trouble than it was worth, and I worked off the debt in my first PT. The actor held captive in the ruins was freed and Kass destroyed the poisoned supplies; the witch may be a danger in the future, but the poison was a danger now.

There are three very close locations for Ares followers in Zeus' playground in central Messara.

If you just look for caves with "Clan Leaders" that should keep the search more sane. I found the ones I needed in several caves in Messenia.

Last week I think I spent 3 hours tracking down all the different Athenian ships because I just couldn't find one type of ship.

As I posted above the game glitched and gave me I think 7 out of ten for the spartan and athenian ones and 4 out of 5 already sunk when I started the quest!!! I find that as you have said, it always seems to make you have to work hard for one type of ship.

So did the daily, weekly quests and the mercenary was a pain jumping all over the damn place to just one hit her with RA and it was all over. Thanks Sanunes for the tip re Messenia for Ares Cultists that got that done pretty qickly and DoA was pretty quick. Chasing the damn Mercenary, even by the time I could call my horse she'd put 300+ extra metres on me.

So no need to know what I am playing now. Turned the game on and was greeted to the greatest opening theme for an intro screen perhaps ever. So yeah I am bac for my third playthrough of this great game. It was perhaps no surprise but I have chosen Kass as my 'canon' mistios. In the end I did decide that while Melsanthi does also make a kick ass Deimos I think I would rather listen to her for 80 hours or so and not put her voice talents to waste. This is also my attempt to play the game and get used to everything for Vahalla and yeah just get my 'canon' in. I don't plan on doing everything of course in fact I can assure you I will most definitely not be doing Episodes 2 and 3 of LOFB. Started off with my previous save to make sure I had the right perks on my gear that I wanted. Wanted to remove the OP and unrealistic 'everyone gets damaged around you stuff'...but I kept the convert assassin damage to real damage and also made sure my staff got the damage perk which turns it into blunt damage to knock people out. And then away I went. And BOY am I rusty as hell. Once more hitting square a lot to attack (thank you Greedfall) and pressing in on the stick to try crouching when its circle and my stealth game has so far been REALLy rough. Instead of sneaking up on Talos he was able to get the jump on me this time but I plugged him full of arrows and still won pretty easily. But I also didn't do the whole bandit thing that well either...and I am surprised at just how fast my health is drainign at hits but then I do remember that this is a feature and quite a good one in the combat. My Archery still seems pretty on point though, having a little trouble aiming but I do remember the button combinations and I just have to not get overzealous with my abilities but I should get back into it soon enough (archery is my bike) Only thing I am debating is if I should swap out shadow of Nyx gien that ability might be a little OP making you invisible and all...so thinking about adding the battle cry of ares.

I played for a while today after not having touched the game for a week or so. While I still find the gameplay itself to be fun, I'm having trouble motivating myself to finish this DLC. I'm finally able to get into the third level of Isu data cache things, I have a dagger forged from adamant, and I'm helping a little boy find his abducted parents, so hopefully I'm near the end. Also, I gained an ability point from scanning an Isu thing, then almost immediately levelled up, but I didn't get the usual level-up ability point, just the one from scanning. I feel cheated

Paradoxically while Ubisoft makes great games they don't seem to make the best expansions, though hopefully the DLC for Breakpoint shows that is changing as both of them were pretty solid.

There were times where it didn't for sure, but at the end I felt a lot of the content in the game was just added because bigger is better. I uninstalled Odyssey yesterday because I came to realize I wasn't going to have fun with it anymore and I was just playing to do the Daily and Weekly quests and nothing more.

I found it interesting more from a history of the Isu than the actual game play and whilst it got a little bit repetitive I really enjoy the combat.

I mean I tend to agree with the clog fest but I also think you have to know your own limits and it is easier to scale game down on repeat play throughs when you know what you are doing. My first PT according to my save file was like 150 hours! long and then my second...well I am pretty sure I overoade it to make room for cannon Kassie but if I remember correctly it was only at the max....well really I think I got to about 100 hours or so total. Which just seems to be typical of me I just whittle down these big games I play until I get to about 80 hour average playthroughs. That is pretty much the weird happy medium I have struck with EVERY big Tripple A Open World/ big arse zoned RPGs over the last generation...that is at least eighty hours with the base game though even my Inquisition PLaythrougs have ended up being that with DLC...
Edit: I mean it is just a testemant to how much this game was fun, at least for me, that I though of it as being a game with almost 'no grind' until my second PT, so like nearly 200 hours of total GP.

I found it overwhelming when I first played there was just so much to do but once I realised I could skip most of the black quests with the white ! I never found it a slog and mainly because I enjoyed the combat and roaming, exploring and sight seeing even playing the third time. I am still enjoying the Daily and Weekly's but mainly as a way to keep my hand in in terms of AC game play before Valhalla.

Yea I mean I may never play episodes 2 and 3 of Legacy again given...everything...but episode 1 was pretty tight and while Atlantis was a bit of a grind fest I still loved the Hades bit and find the final chapter interesting enough from a moral perspective/ 'lore' perspective where I will still play it...maybe . This might be the weirdest canon PT I have ever done considering it is literally going to be bumping up against Vahalla so maybe I will cut things really early.

ATM I have stopped story progression for the last month or so and I am just doing daily/weekly quests because I wanted finish an MEA PT that was parked. Also having an issue with a nerve in my neck that runs down my arm so I have to limit my time playing. Is the nerve in the neck thing serious? Hopefully not but if the pain continues for an extended period like 6 months or more it can in the worst case cause muscle damage and paralysis. I have had an injection of steroids to the nerve exit site but that has failed to work yet (after 2 weeks) but it can take 30 days. I can keep having shots but they cost $1,200 dollars ago but worst case scenario is I'll have to have an operation but even that isn't a guaranteed solution. I am taking a medicine that mostly eliminates the pain but using the keyboard aggravates the nerve. So it's painful and detrimental to it settling. Anyway hopefully the injection kicks in soon. 🙂
