Assassins Creed Odyssey

25 gig update for a 3 hour DLC seems a bit excessive.
And then the patch broke the bare foot mod and Kassandra is in bandit sandals.

Anyway I just did the weekly's and took there advice on finishing the main story before doing the new quest.
Is the Mythology questline the 2nd DLC?
After not liking the first DLC, I've never played the second.

After downloading Odyssey over a couple of days I started the free DLC for it today. Going back I see where people claim the game is better, but I think Valhalla is a better design for my enjoyment.

I don't think I got very far for its been nearly two years since I played and forgotten how I approached it so getting my gear took longer then I thought it would along with the first three locations for clues. Going to stick with it, but I think when I am done I am just going to move Odyssey back to my external drive of purgatory for games that I might play again if there is more content released.

So got back to playing the main game of AC Odyssey yesterday after playing the new DLC and the one in Valhalla.

Completed the missions to get the family house back in Sparta and let Lagos live but didn't go to confront the Kings yet, decided to go visit Pythagoras and hand in the Cyclops, Medusa and Minotaur (who I fought yesterday) artifacts. That got me the quest to go find the Sphynx which I did and solved her riddles.

It feels really strange just doing the main missions, I flew through Messara and Pephka and only did the specific quest given by Ardos to get to the Minotaur. Felt bad just racing by on my horse and ignoring all the other markers but I am keen to finish the game and move on to something else as much as I am enjoying it.

So just have to hand in the last artifact to Pythagoras today but thought I'd share my stat's so far which is basically the end ofthe game.

Clocked up 40,487 kills, 893 hours, 1,808 Mercenary kills and 1,096 ships sunk.

Pretty similar but my Kass is more Arrogant. 

Finally have some time to dig into the new DLC. I'm going to be rusty as all hell, but... why not?

I really enjoyed it, not sure if you have read posts about the DLC but all I will say is I recommend clearing everything except the opals before you finish the story. Not a big deal if you don't.

Finished up the Odyssey DLC today. Overall, I thought it was... pretty good. Kass remains my favorite protag of the AC games. A bit of a bittersweet ending, and now I'll dive into the Valhalla crossover DLC (either tonight or tomorrow).

I've two different hour clocking. Steam recorded 967 hours played. Ubi recorded 911 hours. Weird. I suppose the missing hours at Ubi could be due to server problems.

I intend to hit a thousand hours so I'll be playing Odyssey again some time in future.



I don't quite understand the arrogant points. I'm pretty sure I didn't choose any arrogant options.

Steam continues to count time if you leave the uPlay launcher going after you quit the game.
