Hello all
I'm new on the forum, i need a bit of help. I've allready completed vanilla game as a Knight-Enchanter 3 years before. I decided now to complete the entire game with all DLC included and i want the best RPG experience with interesting and evolving combat mechanics. At first i want the character to fit the Inquisitor role. I want abilities to be spectacular, the less i need to auto-attack the better. Any abilities that let your quickly relocate. I want to fell this fervor of battle and I include some mods to support it of course if needed. The fitting characters for me personaly: -another Knight-Enchanter mage -Templar 2H Warrior -Champion 2H Warrior -Tempest DW Rogue (I include rogue not as a stealthy scoundrel, more like a Swordmaster with a bit of tricks) -Artificer DW Rogue (The same as above, i don't want to rely only on a stealth, it is only exceptional)
Thanks in advance for any advices.

Artificer is great and has some flashy abilities. It's good for both dw and bow. Knight Enchanter is pretty awesome too. I can't say much about the warrior specs since I don't like playing warrior, but I find the templar spec on Cass pretty efficient

I have played a two handed warrior and I find the reaver to be the better of the three, to me Templar and champion is best played sword and board but that's me as for Tempest just like Sara I would do it as a archer, Artificer well as a rouge it works as long as you have the companion's that complement the spec. Knight enchanter well I like that spec. but take it for what ya will its just my 2 coppers.

(yes, this really happened to me)

If you want the game to crash because of all the pretty explosions, go Artificer Artificer: When you absolutely, positively, gotta blow up everything on the map. Including yourself.

I agree with melbella and Lazarillo: if you want a lot of bling and cool effects, go artificer

Hmm How spectacular are templar spells compared to Knight Enchanter?

Hmm, in comparison to Knight-Enchanter, Templar's flashiness might depend a little on the rest of your build. My 2H Templar did a lot of blocking/rolling/swinging, with occasionally flashy bits when I needed to smite some Demons. It didn't blow crap up on a large scale, but there was a certain...anime-martial-arts-ness to it all. The thing, I guess, to bear in mind with Templar is that, unlike, say, the Reaver spec (or the pre-Spirit Blade nerf KE, for that matter), is that the Templar Specialization supplements the rest of your build, rather than replacing it.

I find a mod that let templars abbilities affect all enemy types but I wonder if can it get to OP after all? That's why i'm asking about it.

I agree with melbella and Lazarillo: if you want a lot of bling and cool effects, go artificer Yeah Artificer is a great spec works best if you'er an Archer I think but it can work for DW too if you get close in and are in a small area. Generally if you're looking for a good Dual weilding spec I find Tempest is best for that I love using the flasks and freezing every enemy that dares to attack me before stabbing them in the gut. It largely depends on your playstyle though and how you choose to spec and build your character. Assassin is probably the most versatile one of the 3 rogue classes as that can be played either way although personally again I find Assassin works best for me with Archery but I think that has more to do with I'm better at doing things at range than getting in enemies faces. Having asid that if yo uwan tcool looking flashy abilities any mage or Rogue build will pretty much have that. Whereas I find warrior skills in this area can be a little dull. Currently playing as a mage myself in the game haven't got her specced up yet but that's mostly because I'm still in Haven but I'm planning on making her a Knight Enchanter once I get that far.
