Low: Attempted Ash and 183 Pull Ups; neither went well. Got surrounded going for grabs wave 2 and dropped again wave 6 on Ash. Marauder shields got me in Pull Ups, no one was playing plat til late and I was falling asleep in the late waves lol.
High: The three plat matches I did play were pretty good so I can't complain about them.

ever-present, with 3000+ waves logged Is there a way to know how many wave u logged with a char ? Or is it a fair assumption ? Just curious, cause i have no idea what char i used most. seems earth is my most done challenge (6), most of the other are at 3 or 4 (edit: ninja'd by docsteely) There's no way to be precise, but if (like me) you're usually playing with one eye on challenge completions, it's a case of multiplying the 200 waves required and the number of overall mastery completions. This works if you stop using the character in question until the overall challenge is completed, but obviously would be no help to people who have favourite characters like the TGI or AIU or Jugg or whatever and play them more or less continuously. I always liked the challenge system as it promotes variety and has always kept the game fresh for me. I just wish the vanilla humans were 'trackable' too. In the case of my BatSol, I've done his 200 waves in every one of my 14 Bloodpack Masteries, and also logged another couple of hundred waves in uncompleted masteries (across 3 accounts). I haven't included all the 'dead' matches, where I took him out to play despite having already completed his 200 waves, but it's probably a low estimate to put it at another 1000 waves at least. He's the BatSol, after all - he can face absolutely anything with swagger and stagger in equal measure. It may amuse you to know that in all those matches I've deployed him without exploding Ballistic Blades in two matches: once to be horrified, and once (a year later) to make sure how horrified I was. And thank you MPApr2012 for giving me a genuine laugh. I fear you're confusing 'intellectual' for 'stoned off my gourd', but I'll take it. And as for the Krogan comments in general, it's really making me wish I had the game on PC too just so I could butt heads with some of you guys. Mrahahahaha.....

Really want a new assault rifle for my Valkyrie. Using a Phaeson for her or a Mattock. Prefer the Phaeson because rate of fire for the Oh Shit moments. Pistol for accuracy. Opened 3 packs yesterday and I got an SMG and a shotgun...hooray! lol If I could have any rifle on Lady Inosha, it would be a Harrier. Good luck right?
Played a Firebase Goddess Bronze solo last night against Cerberus. Made it to Wave 7 with using only 1 res. Got a few more spec points for her, but I can't decide what to put them in. I have Annihilation Field maxed at the moment.

Just as a note: "Firebase Goddess" makes me think of something out of JEM And The Holograms. I keep thinking that the Valkyrie should be spawning in riding side-saddle on a unicorn.

If I had to guess my most played character, I'd guess... fat turian sentinel. 1000 logged in waves, from five completed Commando masteries, and probably once as much again* from all the waves that weren't counted, since I don't care enough. It's Tsent, I'll play him as much as I damn well please, waves counted or not.
*at the very least.

It's not pretty, but then my Justicar appears and makes things all beautiful again. The HE and GE get a lot of action, but bringing up the rear in my most-used club would definitely be the QFE.

I pretty much spread the love evenly all though I didn't use the vanilla kits much in the beginning. Maybe because they reminded me too much of the SP campaign and I wanted to try out all these exiting new characters as they became unlocked. They are far too underrated imho, specially among pugs with no manifest, for which they are ideally suited.
One thing I can say for sure is the mine spammer will never get another wave on my acc; boring, buggy and permabanned. After 200 waves with that guy, I promised myself I would never grind anymore boring challenges...

I've to admit I have more fun with Reapers because of the Banshees. I tend to play AA so it's kind of like a torero face down. On AA, you can dodge pretty fast as the banshee whips towards you. On turians, impossible. Which makes it the more challenging. With the brutes and banshees, it's a series of sidesteps. The brute is predictable, you just step to the right. He misses most of the time, even if you're both in a tight space. With banshees, it depends on their 'mood'. I was playing Jade just now on my TS and at one point, I was right next to the banshee for several seconds. Her target was me but as I 'danced' around her, she never signed my card. I guess she was in a nice mood.

High: Started ME3'ing again today for the first time in almost seven months. First kit I took was the krogan soldier and man what a great feeling to play what a real krogan should feel like (MEA krogan are totally lame) The head butting, the pimp back hand, dat laugh! It's been a long time old friend. Took some of my other old fav's too like the justicar, turian sent, and kroguard. ME3MP really puts the MEAMP to shame. Low: Since I was a bit rusty, I only did some bronze matches to get back into the swing of things. After playing MEA for a while, I got used to those controls and found myself trying to jump in ME3 due to jetpack use. I also don't remember the aiming/turning being so sensitive but maybe it always was. Anyway, I should be back into gold soon.

I don't think I've put a cyclonic on a fatso in a long time, even on platinum.

Turians are great and one of the reasons is that they are fat. With AM they are less fat, which is a bad thing(if you don't believe me,ask TTT ).I use CM on them every time. They murder everything fast and i don't need to run.I have to admit there are situation where you must run,but since they are fat, they can deal with every situation.

Got through Wave 8 last night using 1 res and no mods on the Valkyrie. By The Goddess...SO CLOSE. I could hug her. What is it with me and Asari? It's like I like them. >.> Now that I got paid, I am thinking that I will open a few more boxes after I get the new Discovery comic and preorder the next ME:A novel. Feeling like an unashamed fangirl is a good feeling. Yes, I loved Andromeda. Maybe I'll get into that MP sometime.
Question: Who do you guys like for tanking? Normally in shooters, I either play snipers or tanks. Sniper I have covered with the Quarian Infiltrator. Short-range/melee wizard is sort of new for me and Inosha is squishy if she stays in one place too long.

High: had a full lobby on W2 U/U/G (Geth Trooper, no Hunter Mode) after starting two-up with a boom-boom Asari. Got dealt Geth on London which was nice as it is a mixture I don't often see. Low: everyone seemed to disappear during extraction - 'WTF,' I thought. Afterwards, it became clear that two players had bailed (perhaps they were DC -- I can't believe their vanishing act had anything to do with my ever-increasing swearing ), one was dead (don't know how I missed that) and I - after some necessary-to-survive kiting - was the sole survivor. Such is life in ME3 MP-Pugland.

[...] Question: Who do you guys like for tanking? I would be careful with the idea of tanking. In theory it works well in ME3MP but in practice it requires the support of the rest of the team (which goes for every game with a tank option I guess). You can say that the Juggernaut is a tank because it always draws a lot of enemy attention (aggro). But as soon as you go above silver, even the most durable characters like the Jugg and Krogan can't survive on their health/shields alone. When you go into the thick of things with a tank, you are relying on your teammates to cover the flanks and deal enough damage so you don't get overwhelmed. Unfortunately when you play with randoms, you can't automatically expect they understand this. Even when it works well, these games tend to get quite boring since I don't like camping: You have your tank(s) standing in the same spot for pretty much the entire match while the teammates pick off anything closing in. Tedious but that's just my personal preference. It will get you back on the shuttle on w11.

I just want the fun of tanking...in SP in both ME3 and ME:A, I tend to play Wyatt Earp style in combat. This style of play is awesome in ME:A on Insanity vs an Architect with an Adept...ha ha ha ha Probably not the best thing to do. I will give the Juggs a shot.

It is the general assumption that SP Insanity equals silver in MP. Still, the bottom line is always the same - it's about having fun

Since I am used to SP play; what I do on casual doesn't always translate to Insanity. For me, it's about having fun, getting used to game mechanics and then augmenting my playstyle as I up my difficulty. I did that with the SP campaign.

Not true.Several characters could be tanks.Kroguard,Scumguard or Juggernaut, they all can be tanks, well played of course. That was my point but I'll try to elaborate: On bronze you can just charge onto a spawn without any regard for your positioning and team support and still survive. If you apply that same tactic on platinum, you won't make it past wave 1 even with a Reegar and Cyclonic IV. You being a platinum vet know this, but a lot of newbies are in for a hard truth when they advance too quickly in difficulty. This includes myself btw. In my 1st gold game I brought the Jugg along, standing around like an idiot with my omnitool in the air against those double Banshees constantly swarming me. All of a sudden I didn't feel so invincible anymore...

High: Got some nice UUG games with Sonashii and The Biotic Trebuchet (Thanks for playing guys!). Low: When we finally got a full team of BSN-ers with Alfonsedode my game crashed. Had to restart lolorigin and after that got RL call so I could not continue. High: Got another round of nice UUG games with larsdt (Thanks for the invite!GGs!) and MPApr2012 (Finally we got to play together!GGs!). Low: Unfortunately after the third game the lag became too much for MPApr, so he had to quit... High: Met an excellent PUG, Soap_Tastes_OK, rather small CP, but highly recommended. The way he/she played (perfect distance from Scions, biotic and tech booms, excellent shot and even answered melees!) makes me think it's probably an alternate ID of a BSN-er... All in all a god day to play the game...

On AF go for radius, movement speed and drain. Warp for biotic booms and armor weakening, Tech Armor for damage reduction and nothing else. You won't be detonating it. On the passives go for weight capacity and power damage. I run her with a Talon and play aggressively like I would play the Fury, but tankier =) The Raider SG or the Carnifex HP work just as fine.
