Low: nightmare pug that lasted almost 40mins Almost standard match length time for me. I try telling myself that the ladies like it when you last longer... Try soloing, even a Jugg can solo faster than that. It's not uncommon for PUG matches to be slower than a decent player's solo time. Soloing can get tiring though, and sometimes tedious if using the wrong setup, but hey, you don't get distracted trying to pick some moron up when you could kill everything in the room in the time it took to save them.

After watching Feneckus' TSent Suppressor vs. Cerb mashup again for the first time in ages, I decided to give it a go today. Since Narida is long (long) dead, I'm not sure what his build was, but I'm pretty sure I've got it figured out. [Edit: see the following post] Loaded up a sacrilegious no-warp TSent and went looking for a PuG.
Low: Landed in a lobby preset to Geth hosted by a Talon Merc. Well that's not going to work.
Less low: Host switched to UUG and I noticed they were probably spec'd for melee based on their equipment. We started as a duo.
Getting better: Got Haz Dagger and Cerb, and we seemed to work pretty well together. The Talon used their trip mines almost exclusively for covering our backs, and I eventually noticed they also had good taste in weapons (Graal). With minimal screenshake headshotting with the Suppressor was a breeze.
Low again: A Batguard joined and spent all their time in the dirt among the turrets. They quit sometime before we got to wave 6 and I'm not sure if it was because they thought we weren't helping them enough (there's not enough rockets or gel in a full lobby to keep someone alive who is determined to run in the dirt alone on Dagger), or because they ran out of gel. That was the only other PuG that we saw.
High: After a bit of Keystone Cops on the late waves and extraction, we both made it out. I was grateful to have encountered what I could best describe as a courteous Talon player. Well done "hazens," if that is your real name.

So he didn't skip warp... just focused his vid on the parts where he was firing overload to set up headshots. Still don't think you need warp on Gold when you're already packing AP ammo and load a Hurricane to deal with large targets, not that you really need full fitness or tech armour either.

High: Bloodpack Mastery completed again. High: Combat Mastery completed again. Funny how those two seem to go hand in hand, or maybe head to head. High: Valiant VIII and Indra X double pack.

High: Got a couple bronze matches in last night. First two games we had 5ws with me having no idea what the hell I was doing.
Low: My monitor stinks and I should probably get a new graphics card and monitor, just a while new computer lol. I'm not a fan of kb+m and the controller mod was not working for me, which stinks because I probably could've played a gold match.

Controller mod only works with XInput (XBox controllers), to use DInput (all others), you need to use programs like ds4windows and ScpToolkit. Also, make sure you get ONLY the MP version of the mod, from what I understand, they are mutually exclusive and cause each other to bug out. A few other incompatibilities that I can't quite recall right now, but definitely worth exploring, some interesting stuff can happen on PC.

Not sure if it has to do with my game being on a separate hd and ModManager on the desktop.

Not sure about the hard-drive thing, but I recommend using the shotgun latency/crusader fix mixin (applied to the Controller mod) and just the controller mod, apparently Controler Mod has issues with other mods when not applied in the correct order (so maybe return to vanilla first). Also, remember to toggle the controller mod to the no-aim-assist variant.

High: Yesterday evening one of my colleagues was online and I joined their Gold match in Wave 9 for easy extraction (Cerberus on Hydra) Higher: Played a couple Gold rounds with another player that stayed with us the whole time (a very good and experienced one). This player became host when the other left before the second match (Reapers on Jade). The new host helped me to make progress in Map Mastery because they switched to exactly the maps I currently still need to complete it for the first time. What a nice coincidence! These were also my first Gold matches I did with random enemy, and we had Goddess/Collectors (first time playing against them on Gold, which actually went better than expected), London/Reapers and Glacier Hazard/Collectors. I still hate Collectors with a passion and in my last match I played like a super scrub (which I still am of course). The hazard didn't help and it felt like I died 100 times. Luckily we had been joined by another really good player and they saved my butt more than once Also, extraction in all matches, yay! Low: Started promoting for the first time. All classes back to Lv1. Bit of a sad sight for me. High: Got to spend my lately accumulated 700,000 credits on Reserves Packs to get my levels back up a bit It was pretty satisfying to spend so much at once, ha!

High/Low/I don't know for sure. Well, it was a low that I couldn't find a Gold match, so I switched down to Silver and played a couple of Asari Vanguard and Slayer games, which were a high in themselves. I have to try a melee Slayer build - it's definitely on my ME3 bucket list. Anyway, I was surprised to run into a non-BSN friend, as we usually play Gold or Plat. He explained that he was just chilling with his buddy doing Valkyrie AR points. He was playing a Jugg (as I think he always does) and the host had 250k CP so I was honestly surprised they didn't switch to Gold or Plat, although they did after DistigousForest joined us. His arrival was genuinely funny, as his TSol/BPP was ripping through Banshees with such speed that the host and my friend immediately concluded that he must be some kind of dirty cheater. (Not in those actual words, I should say, but lots of speculation about mods. I was just laughing at the whole spectacle, thinking of that age-old BSNer dilemma - how do I let my non-BSN friend know that he has some L2P issues without sounding like a dick?) I wasn't on mic but was in a party with them and had to send a message as quickly as possible to say "Not a cheat, my buddy. Turian Passives, and it's only Silver." The host was initially skeptical but willing to go along with what I said, as I believe I had proved myself competent by that stage. I'm not sure competent was quite the right word, given the circumstances, which included the fact that I was having a lazy Saturday afternoon and was pretty feckin blazed, and the host was a chatty Liverpudlian who reminded me of Ringo Starr, so I was in the process of trying to work out whether I would have been happier to be in an episode of Thomas the Tank Engine or to live in an Octopus's Garden, in the shade. As it turned out I was most happy as a Human Engineer, on Jade.

I might add, as it turns out, Jade is quite garden-looking and is based on the STG base in SP, which had all kinds of experimentation, Octopus specimens may have been there SOMEWHERE, and the bullet-proof leaves DO, as it so happens, provide quite a bit of shade, so no wonder your HEngie was happy.

As it turned out I was most happy as a Human Engineer, on Jade. His accent was quite nice actually, relaxing in a way, once I was able to finally join the party, buy you'd gone at that point. I dropped in sort of expecting gold so I had APIII and SMG Amp III, so super OP for silver and it was comical how quickly Banshees and armor died once MM kicked on. That last match on Jade was a clinic with my Claymore QFE. At one point on wave 10 devices I was able to keep basically the entire wave of enemies occupied in the main atrium so y'all could cap the devices with little to no issues. It was one of my better matches, plus I outscored a Raider AIU with a level 10 or so QFE

I had another session later which also fell into the High/Low/Don't know category. It seems most of my non-BSN friends know each other. I got an invite when I logged on and found 'Ringo' waiting in the lobby along with the host. He remembered me from earlier so we switched up to Plat after the first game. In all my years playing this game I've never been in the Box of Shame on Rio for anything other than an ammo refill. On one or two occasions I may have stayed there briefly if a Banshee has been on my trail, but camping there is genuinely not something I've ever done, or even considered. But when you find yourself with people who seem to believe it's the only way to survive Plat, whatcha gonna do, right? Ringo played a Volus Engineer, the other two AIU/Reegars and myself as a SI/Valiant. We got Devices on 3, which were super easy, spawning on the EZ side while Ringo and one of the AIUs kept them busy at the BoS. We had an EZ hack on 6, which was also pretty straightforward, and then Targets on 10 - all of which were dispatched by missiles. The rest of the match was spent in or around the Box, and it was, to be totally honest, one of the most soul-destroying things I've ever done in this game. I contemplated getting my mic just to say, "Come on guys, we're better than this" but considering the score discrepancy at the end it's possible that collectively we weren't. We did another Plat on Glacier with Ringo switching to a Jugg and one of the AIUs to a TGI. There was still serious camping but it's a more pleasurable map, even with a Sniper Rifle. Low: No URs, so was it even worth it? High: When the TGI had to leave my friend switched back down to Gold, and we got Reapers on Glacier again. I'd switched to QFE/Claymore and to say she went completely mental would be something of an understatement.

High: Got to play a few games with Doc. Tried Secret Agent Drell out (Adept + Suppressor w/o extended mag) and found it pretty damn good. Native headshot bonus helped.
High: Played some fun games with Sona and TNS. Got 20 headshots with the Locust with only a 25 kill medal.
Low: Didn't get a single HS medal with the Phalanx. :/
High: Got disconnected on Wave 11 Plat right as Sona had a failed lab experiment with an abomb. Hilarious way to end the match.

High: played two games today, after a long time. Both UUG, Tsol vs Cerberus on Glacier Hazard and DAI vs geth on Ghost Hazard. Team mates were mostly useless, which resulted in both games ending 200k+ for me. Not a big deal for DAI, but I am very proud that fat turian soldier finally managed to reach that milestone. Granted, he was using the Hurricane/Scorpion combo, but still... there's a reason why he's my second favourite fatso

SECOND?! I'm booting up my PS3 to unfriend you. He is the best fat turian! TSent wishes he was that cool. What can I say, I'm actually using all three of sentinel's powers, as opposed to mostly Marksman with Tsol The combination of Tech Armor, Warp and Overload, together with that voice just makes him that much cooler in my eyes. You're forgiven if you use a Lancer on TSent

You're forgiven if you use a Lancer on TSent Well, I use Valkyrie, Phaeston, combo of Suppressor/(Locust/Tempest), Raider, Claymore, Saber, Mantis... this guy sure loves his Crusader, but yeah, Lancer finds its way into the mix That's one more things I love about him... give him any weapon and he shines with it. Of course, soldier does better job, but as mentioned, I just love sentinel's versatility that much more.
