Recent Game Highlights and/or Low Points

Not on Plat, sorry DF. Maybe Condor, but not by much, and London and Vancouver are easier.

Hardest map for team games IMO are as follows-Condor,London,Hydra. For soloing-Condor,Jade,Hydra.

Dagger is one of my favorite maps too. Hazard Dagger?   🤮🤮🤮

P.S. And DistigousForest? The reason it comes out so often is exactly the reason andy_3_913 mentioned: ammo.

I agree with all except one of those, though I suspect it comes from the fact that I don't Plat. I actually don't mind Jade solo, only problem is devices (but then, we could list a few maps that are utter trash for devices), the rest of the time though, I'm quite happy with it (not a fan of it during team games though, much prefer it solo).

Talking of maps that you get often: has anyone else who pugs-a-lot, noticed this following pattern? After one match or even if had landed on w11 on a specific map, then if I search for a new game, the system seems to prioritize any GIP that is on that same map! Been following this for months now, even happened regularly before my 6 month hiatus last summer. And the same continues now following the same pattern. Usually a third one doesn't happen, but more often than not, 2 separately searched consecutive matches are on the same map (enemies vary, and sometimes it switches between hazard and normal variants). It's too much of a coincidence to have happened hundreds of times.

In some cases, it feels like
Game: Dropping you on the same map again! Let's see how you do now!
Me: "Why, game, whyyyyy?!"
Game: Here is your chance for... erm, revenge? LOL.. Nah, who am I kidding: go through the same pain, extended version. Now with 100% new enemies! Now also with the addition of Sand diarrhoea!
Me: . Damn. *Stays and regrets it later.*

Yep, that is too commmon when searching, throwing you back in the same lobby. I usually just search for another enemy at that point to get rid of that.
But the game deliberately trying to put me on the same map where I had just finished a match, left the lobby and searched for a new one, is peculiar. (If I stay in the same lobby for a new match, then of course that doesn't apply.) Early spring, I considered taking screenshots and timestamping them to show the frequency that that happens to me in searches, but it's been happening all the time since early last year that I didn't bother. But had to ask here finally, if anyone else has noticed it happening that way.

If that happens you can always wait 5-10 seconds before searching and it'll usually lower the priority of the lobby you just left. I found if I do that or search for a different difficulty, then cancel the search, then re-search the intended UU it'll usually put me in a different lobby too. Now if it's a time where there's not many people playing the game it'll be hard to even find a lobby at all.

High: Welp I got sucked into Dark Souls and haven't really played in two weeks other than a few half-assed solo attempts so:

Low: I attempted Ariake twice, dying wave 2 both times, and Neufchatel 5 and at least got to wave 5 here before getting my shit stomped in. For the Ariake attempts I was consistently attempting to dodge with B and that was my cue to give up and go back to Dark Souls and die a bunch there.

Curious; does your Origin name have something to do with geometry, by any chance? I had that experience with a great teammate I've met recently, and he/she wrote on screen that it was their 4th or 5th time on Dagger in a row. And after that match, we all landed yet again on Dagger for the next game, too.

But yes, this is the type of the weird map-finding I meant above; potentially different lobby/team, but keeps throwing us on the same map again and again.
