Legend says he may be an alt of some BSNer from here Ah ok - I'm usually last if I play plat (which is not often) so it would make no difference to me. I'd probably barely notice. OTOH, I meleed a banshee yesterday - looked like she was going to grab me, so I mashed F. She must have been on her last HPs because she dropped dead. I went 'oh. OK.' Almost as much fun as the time I tech-armoured a brute to death.

Weird things started happening lately with no one joining lobby some days until the game is restarted.
Yesterday was one such day so my usual "no friends online - open lobby - start without waiting" led to another impromptu solo.
Turned out to be one of my quickest if not the quickest one. Still took 48:44 to clear Goddess from reapers with Avenger TGI; wouldn't call it faultless since I left with just one of ops packs but in the end I got my 10WS medal.
Could've gone much worse than that.

Yep. And ready to go (instead of exiting) lol I've seen that happen. My guess is there were no lobbies available while several players searching. Perhaps a new lobby is created in this case. This may go further and leave you alone in your own lobby after searching. I think the reason for that is others stopping their search.

And ready to go (instead of exiting) lol I always assumed that lobbies don't expire immediately after everyone leaves, so there's a brief window where someone can join as host. I do know it's possible for host migration to occur after you've connected with a lobby and before you've finished loading in. On more than one occasion I've battled with another player in a contest to not be host wherein we both keep quick searching and quitting, alternating as host. |
