On a hunch, I remembered SalMasRace mentioning something about CSR incendiary salarian infiltrator, so I gave it a try in my latest platinum game. And the little dude performed... very well. Sure, I came in third, scorewise, but this was off host, with two very capable players. I am looking forward to trying this setup on host, Gold, with mostly incompetent pugs. Should be a massacre. Definitely a high. Kinda low: I'm getting better at pulsing CSR, which is a high in an of itself, seeing I used it two or three times before today. But there's still a room for improvement. Any advice from regional masters would be... much appreciated

Any advice from regional masters would be... much appreciated I use it like I would the Mattock, which works well enough for me. It's been a long time since I looked into the mechanics of it, what the optimal timing might be, so I'm curious to see some replies on this too (assuming I can't be bothered to search for it myself... which is a good bet right now).

Any advice from regional masters would be... much appreciated Either tap the button repeatedly like you would with the CSMG or treat it like a sniper rifle with three shots in it - holding down the button three times in a row for slightly less than a second works well for me in that regard.

High: inert took me over for a taste of gold tier, because we were getting players that made silver trivial. Which is where my manifest is also telling me I should be starting, because my silver weapons are maxed out. but I have a shortage of consumables, including the medigels, and it is really sad. We have only played one map, Giant, and got double geth and double collectors. Overall, it felt less of a step up then from bronze to silver, but the carry was strong, and it will be a while till I can swap the trusty Tempest and Phaeston to the magic guns. But I had unlocked three new kits, and finally have a Krogan I would like to level up to see if I can put him into rotation with T!sentinel that is so far the only character I feel confident enough in bringing into gold. I am loving this game, and it's coolness factor is very, very high. I can't thank inert and the other nice folks enough for putting up with some serious lapses in judgment that just happen to occur.

High: finally gave a CSR salarian infiltrator a Gold trial and man, he melted Cerberus I think I actually prefer CSR to Black Widow on this guy. Will give it a little more test, but it was so much fun and so much power... I was vowed. It also reminded me why I always liked this guy... nothing shiny about him(well, unless you count when he's under the DR effect of Energy Drain), but he can compete with the best. Thanks to everybody who offered advice, it helped a lot Higher: had another game vs Cerberus on White, as Typhoon/Venom Destroyer, with maxed nades and HML and yeah, the cheating bastards never stood a chance. Even phantom scumbags are powerless against this guy and he doesn't even need to employ Venom all that much... nades go job well enough. And he laughs at goons, before killing them messily. There is something cathartic about popping a thermal clip pack with ten seconds left on the extraction timer, only to send all the goons and phantoms dying in almost-orbital-bombardment-but-not-quite, as you spend nine grenades in almost as many seconds

You did great and died less than the pug who demanded gold in the first place. You were more mobile too, with him wanting to camp. Once you get your manifest up a bit further, you'll be getting more points. You hit 50 assists before the second objective regularly!

I feel that I am picking up where I left it at SWTOR, because when I called it quits what I was really interested in shifting from pocket heals to coordinated DPS with prioritizing & focusing fire and cc/mezz coordination. Only it is far more fun in ME3MP, because you don't get chain-stunned and it is that much easier to maintain DPS on the move with the stripped down rotation. If they only let you pass pizza like Huttball, that would have been awesome.
But fun, fun, fun and thank you again!

I think tapping the CSMG is the opposite of what you should be doing with it. It uses double ammo for the first few shots, so if you pulse it, you're using double ammo all the time, whereas if you hold the trigger, you're only using double ammo for the first fraction of a second.

High: I decided to make a krogan soldier build that had carnage on it and uses the claymore. I'll admit I was skeptical of thinking carnage would be useful on the krogan soldier. And I was proved wrong because it's actually not half bad, plus the cooldown on carnage gives allows me to take advantage and use it for reload cancelling for the claymore. High: Got 1st place in all 3 games where I've tested the krogan soldier build. Overall, it's a really nice build, quite like it I might try out the armor evo on inferno grenades, don't know if it's worth it unless someone here can tell me otherwise. Damage is really good, you have a stackable DoT from inferno grenades, a claymore shot, level 6 fire explosion off of carnage with the additional armor damage and Incindiary rounds because why not.

Yesterday, the space magic was strong (so was the stupidity of Origin, but this isn't about that), because the game allowed me to use this: Of course I had to abuse it for several games! That's like my DrellDept's dream come true! (Also, yeah, low equipment because of alt account. )

Interesting: I've tried using Mattock yesterday, as I saw someone comment that it was a gun that can be used in Gold, and my brain kept feedbacking to me that I need to be pushing the LMB harder, and that I am making far more efforts to fire, even though it is simply the low RoF and whatever else. I scrubbed out and went back to spraying bullets with Phaeston after a couple of attempts (low).
High: Levelled my first Krogan (well, almost, he is 19). It was a painful and clumsy experience to start with, but I met @annaisa in the first game I was playing, and she gave me a few pointers on handling the kit. Went better for the rest of the bronze slog through levels, and then finally, got to duo with Inert in silver, and cause lots and lots and lots of fiery explosions. The grenades take time to work, but they will kill. Did I mention lots of fiery explosions? Heh, the true test of my ability to kro will come when I try to pug silver. I think I still like the T!Sentinel and the A!Infiltrator more, but Krogan is funnier, and headbutting is a comedy gold from the animations department.

No Omniblade, no bang , but that's pretty much my idea of a perfect pyjak/non-pyjak hybrid build. From an obsessive lore-following perspective, there is a degree of pyjakery about any non-melee Krogan builds (nevermind the Soldier who is arguably the best melee Krogan there is) especially with Grenade Gear in preference to Shocktrooper or Berzerker Gear, but having the quads to wield the Claymore cancels that out quite reasonably. And it's not like you actually need an Omniblade to melee mooks anyway. I would tend to go for radius at rank 4 of Carnage, and I never choose armour damage options on both powers simultaneously, preferring the extra shrapnel on the Inferno 'nades. I would also think you could consider the Venom as an even higher-scoring option - it has a 'free' Omniblade slot which would allow your build to headbutt mooks to death with a Strength Enhancer instead of Shotgun amp, while also priming many more enemies with fire. Or the Graal, obviously. If I wasn't the kind of person who has, for example, never used a Reegar on the Kroguard, I'd second that build as potentially one of the most powerful there is in the game, while still being tremendous fun and not in any way scary to play.

Not really my ideal of way playing the krogan soldier although it's not like I won't heavy melee a husk every once in a while or send a phantom sprawling on the ground, I could use the venom but I like the claymore just because it's a krogan weapon and it sounds amazing. To be honest the only krogan kit, I've actually used the Omniblade + venom shotgun was on the krogan warlord sentinel and with the strength enhancer. It's definitely one of the most powerful builds in the game I did outscore a BoTb pug who used the n7 pally and a geth trooper soldier with flamer with the krogan soldier build.

Damage is really good, you have a stackable DoT from inferno grenades, a claymore shot, level 6 fire explosion off of carnage with the additional armor damage and Incindiary rounds because why not. Been some time since I've played krosol and like you, I've been playing without Carnage so far. So after seeing your build, I decided to give it a shot today. The only difference I made was taking 6B option on nades, since I too, like Grunt, prefer that radius and extra shrapnel. I think the nades did their job adequately and with Fire explosions from Carnage and a little bit of incendiary glitching, I feel the 6A option is kinda wasted anyway. First game was against Reapers on Dagger and the big guy passed the test with flying colors. I didn't felt like having Carnage was a big disadvantage and the luxury of detonating your own FEs was much fun. Failed to obtain ten tech kills medal, but other than that, everything was just great. So I decided to give a platinum a try and preset Glacier/Reapers. Things got a bit hairy and I got hugged by banshee twice, but luckily, the team was competent and they managed to clutch it. Got outscored by Reegar AIU, but seeing this is my first time with this setup on plat, my second time after couple of months not playing krosol and well... it was Reegar AIU I don't feel too bad about it. Did manage to score ten tech kills five seconds to extraction though, so all is well I think I'll play this guy again. Didn't manage to score a single melee kill though, so I will give myself to the judgement of my elder, Grunt. I await the lashing and accept it, for I have disappointed mother Tuchanka and my ancestors.

I had some fun games with Nanny and Serza and someone called XXL_Armor or something like that this afternoon ... Armor apparently knew me Apparently they changed their name but I have no idea who they are... so um sorry if thats you I dont recognize you but youre nice! I unlocked the N7 Shadow and the Saber ... only because I was given a million credits after a silver game but still But we had fun games at least Ernesto_bih/Ernie. I've received an extra million myself, but I've had more than A dozen wave 11 disconnects, so I'm good with it. No guilt.
