I had played around 125 MEA games since they patched it, with 1 crash and 2 super-laggy games, which isn't bad overall, but after a second crash yesterday I sat for a while, pondering why I was bothering. The game is better when it's stable, and also improves as characters level up, but......but......but....there's something not right. Something is missing. The death animations for enemies are slow and imprecise, to the point that I often waste extra shots or powers on ones who are already dead. And the characters and guns are supremely 'meh', soooooooo......
High: Powered up ME3 and deployed a QFE with Claymore. Despite finding both the Geth and Collectors, I was able to determine why ME3 is better than MEA. There is a deep satisfaction which comes from the recognition that if you don't remove a Collector Captain's head in a single shot, you will die, or at least be overrun by Seeker Swarms or allow the flaming Abomb into suicide range. So you make the shot. And you feel good. Andromeda has absolutely nothing which compares. It's hard to believe, but there it is. Bullet-sponge bosses, pew-pew-pew guns and no solid-feeling mechanics. There is no reload-canceling and single-shot weapons and snipers are pretty much impossible to play off-host, while the Assault Rifles are unspeakably awful, without exception. And of course there are no jiggly bumbums or High Lord. Which is actually probably a good thing, as they may only be tainted by the association.
It's also purely anecdotal, but I found it quite interesting that I was able to find instantaneous Gold games of ME3, while I've had to drop down to Silver a couple of times in the past few days because I couldn't find a Gold lobby in MEA.

Shall I say - welcome back Grunt? I'm glad that ME 3 mp isn't dead, which I was afraid of before Andromeda launch. I read MEAMP forum from time to time and I noticed that Biover fixed some things and now it's playable. But still there's a lot of disappointed people there. I mean you have every right to complain about poor quality of the game, but it's easy to forget that you can still go back to old, beloved ME 3 I know that veterans like you, had been playing this game since the beginning and it's understandable that you want to try something new for a change. But don't forget that a lot of scrubs are still playing old knocker As for my opinion about Andro, I say it's not a bad game, but neither it is a good one. It's aggressively average, and I have no time for this in my life. Maybe, one day, when it will be on -60% sale or something, I'll pick it up and see what's what for myself. For now I'm staying in the Milky Way and soon will be my 1 year anniversary day since I started playing ME 3 MP for good I should do a bronze solo, with lvl 1 Salarian Engineer on Condor vs Reapers, with no consumables or weapon mods haha (this was my first ever match, back in 2012). TL;DR: Welcome back, and hopefully you'll visit us more often in the future

C'mon man, leave that crap. Andromeda won't be ME3.It's not even close in quality to ME3MP.I tried to like Andromeda, but coudn't.No matter what thing they will fix in the future,MEA multi sucks hairy asses. Yes it's a new game, but it doesn't matter. It's like comparing Rossi and Marquez. The spaniard is a good rider, but he is not Rossi.Vale is the best.

This is second time today man.. your oldie - Vale should retire ASAP, Vinales will be no 1 in Yamaha during this season, that's for sure. And who's current world champion? Also Honda in comparison to Yamaha is underpowered, so only thanks to incredible skillz of Repsol drivers, it can compete for championship. Also Marquez is young and has a lot of years of racing ahead of him, so he can easly beat Rossi's records

Also GruntKitterhand is a Vale's fan just like me.That's why i gave that example.

High: I went back to play my 1st couple games on the geth engineer after god knows how long. High: I decided to try a different spec on the geth turret, and found out the full damage + flamethrower is good. I'm pretty sure I've used flamethrower before and I thought it sucked ass and thought the healing route was superior. But I quite like the offensive geth turret so far. Makes me wanna do a play through with flamer turret on my engineer in the SP. High: Went beast mode in firebase ghost hazard with cerberus on gold. I was using the GE with arc pistol and at wave 8 or 9, I had like sick aim botting on a freaking PS3 controller, it was so sick I stole 2 dragoons from a geth trooper and managed to head shot them through flamer covering my screen. And it didn't stop there I was also murdering phantoms with head shots without even bothering to scope in with the arc pistol and just no scope'd and easily predicted how far they would flip and perfectly line up the aiming reticle onto their heads. I find it kinda amusing when you have a geth trooper using flamer on a banshee from behind and a geth turret with flamethrower burning a banshee from the front. Double the flamethrower action EDIT: Speaking of ME:A MP, I played like less than 10 games. My first impression is that no way I can see myself playing off host as often as I do in ME3 MP. Also probably not an issue anymore but I would occasionally ran into issues where I'm damaging an enemy and the enemy has no health but their death animation is delayed and it doesn't help when you play off host in a country like Australia. It just felt terrible playing ME:A MP from my experience. When I went back to ME3 MP everything feels so much better.

Thanks for the welcome back Sonashii and muahmuah. I assumed the latter was talking about Alex Marquez when he was comparing him to Rossi as a metaphor for these two games. In seriousness, before the patch, it was like that season Bautista had a few years back when he crashed almost every race, riding an unreliable non-factory bike. Since 1.06 it's been a bit more like Scott Redding this season. He's hanging in there, and keeps hoping to improve his personal best, but he knows he's outclassed and has no chance of winning, or even feeling a great sense of accomplishment. As for the various rivalries I am indeed a Rossi fan through and through, and have rarely felt sporting disappointment as acutely as when he crashed out in France on the last lap, partly due to the circumstances regarding Nicky Hayden. I was on my knees on the floor holding my head in my hands. It doesn't matter how many titles Marc goes on to win, or young Maverick - Rossi transcends the sport. He's The GOAT. I played a couple of Jugg games to check that ME3 is still better even when not presenting an actual challenge, and indeed it is. As @bestvolussupportau support says, everything just feels more stable. Shooting across the map on Rio with a GPS is more successful than sniping with a Black Widow in MEA. I had a riot duoing with a great Volus Engineer, with only a turret on the last wave 10 device causing me to die. I've now played all 4 factions, with the QFE, Krentinel, Jugg and Smashdept, and every game was fun. I pressed a few wrong buttons, forgot to mash 'A' and tried to actually run with the pizza by mistake, but I tell you what I didn't do - try to use a Jetpack!

Low: geth, lag, Kishock, underleveled and underequipped PUGs, one PUG invisible for me (they could revive me, I couldn't even revive them). High: despite all that, laid the smackdown, three of four (presumably, the invisible PUG's score didn't appear anywhere) scored over 100,000, even managed 10+ headshots with Kishock.

High: Unintentionally got someone sync killed by putting my corpse near this n7 destroyer, so this n7 destroyer tried to sprint but him sprinting is on the same button as reviving my corpse which ended up him sync getting killed by a banshee High: Blocked someone's over grab cover kill on cannibal by poison striking at perfect distance in front of the cannibal so that the grab wouldn't work High: Warped a Possessed Abom and used throw and threw it towards AIU trying to get back to the hacking circle Silly things like this make me laugh.

Played for the first time in...over a year? And returned to my main account. I just played a little Silver. It was nice to play again, even if I know it won't be for very long.
High: Just playing again, killing my old friends (which is every faction except Collectors).
Low: It made me nostalgic for the people I used to play with. When my life had stalled out, this game was my escape. Now things are moving again, and my old playmates have moved on. I hope they're all doing well.

For some reason I am doing (intentionally) Sniper Rifle Mastery (again). I saw that the Krysae was at 85%, and decided to get it to 100%. Now you see, its been a LONG time since I've used this gun. I put it on my Salarian Engineer, and figured it would be a cake walk. Now I remember why I never use that damn gun. I remember it pre-nerf.
The Devs completely ruined that gun - not that it was really that good in the first place. I'd rather level a damn M-8 Avenger than that POS Krysae.

High: Two excellent UUG games with HamleticTortoise and I got to take Fluffy (yep, my Jug ) out for a walk: managed to outscore a Huntress with him. Low: In the first game we got a scorewhoring Saboteur, in the second a scorewhoring Huntress; for the love of God both are not your common PUG kit as they require a certain knowledge of the game to play them, so why scorewhore (not participating at objectives, nuking double banshees just because etc.)? I don't get it. Also guess what kind of objectives we got 3 times out of 6? Yep, devices... Edit: Another High - three UUG games with vastator and we had two decent PUGs! They did objectives (sorry Vas, but of course with me it's going to be 3Xdevices ) and were more than helpful all along. And the last High of the day for me: got to play two solid UUG games with GruntKitterhand on Xbox. Hope you left your adventures in Andromeda behind, bro Grunt, the Milky Way needs you more!

High: I am no longer pressing wrong MEA buttons.
Low: I've been doing nothing but pugging silver and I'm still kind of rusty on a lot of kits. It's like all everybody's playing is Jugs, AIUs or TGIs. I mean seriously. I even lost a match in Wave 10 because I got synced by a phantom, and the one Krogan who was still standing decided to keep throwing incinerates at two phantoms and 4 other enemies instead of pulling out a cobra and getting the last device. Of course he goes down and doesn't even medi-gel. Mission scrubbed. We're outta here.

Thank you for the great games the TSab player is an infamous scoremonger. I admit it felt good to see the result screen and realize I had outscored him with a Predator, and having to take a break on wave 2 to change my mouse's batteries The Huntress in the second one actually began helping with objectives once I asked them to join the escort on wave 6, so there's that. I suspect a new alt acc, since they seemed to know what they were doing, but they had low CP/N7 and a BW 1; nuking double banshees on wave 5 felt more like a move to hold the control tower and avoid moving and wasting consumables to me. That said, Fluffy definitely proved its mettle: tough map for a low mobility kit, but you played it brilliantly!

Edit: Another High - three UUG games with vastator and we had two decent PUGs! They did objectives (sorry Vas, but of course with me it's going to be 3Xdevices ) and were more than helpful all along. Yeah, nice game and nice people! In the Cerberus game the Phatom DR for me was a bit of a pain, but at the end i had revenge by 1 shooting with my crusader 2 injured Phantoms in the head: one was trapped in the air, upside down, in my net, the other moving directly behind. With the heads lined up . Objectives went smooth, but let's say we were fortunate since nobody died of old age when you choose to deliver the pizza in Rio, with your Juggy, when the Pizza was in the directily opposite side of the map.

And the last High of the day for me: got to play two solid UUG games with GruntKitterhand on Xbox. Hope you left your adventures in Andromeda behind, bro Grunt, the Milky Way needs you more! Cheers doc, hell yeah, and good games indeed, apart from me getting grabbed on wave 5 - you did a great job. As I said to you, that second wave 10 device was such a pain. I may not use a mic, but I'd say my particular strain of Irish stubbornness showed through for you to see. For the benefit of others, we were on White, with me as a Havoc and doc playing Fluffy the Jugg. The device was at the top of the central ladder, and I was a couple of seconds away from completing it when something took me down. Four missiles and 3 gels later I had the sense to join Fluffy at the bottom of the map and wait for a bit. But hey, we got it done, and the game on Condor was pretty straightforward, considering it was on Condor and the Geth were there. My BatSol doesn't like the Geth much, and I think it maybe showed. I had a mixture of highs and lows before that, firstly running into a Cerberus GiP with tantumdicverbo on Ghost Hazard which went bad during a pizza wave, and then he arrived again after me in another Cerberus GiP on White Hazard. Things were looking decidedly dicey on Wave 6 and he bailed (I don't blame him in the slightest), but thankfully the host knew what he was doing and completed the wave. The rest of the match was simple, and with my credits I unlocked the Venom. My Xbox manifest is now only lacking UR upgrades after 300 hours, unlike my second PS3 manifest which still lacks a Saber after 400 hours. They're both still well ahead of where my main a/c would have stood at this stage, as I was probably still on Bronze in those days. It looks like I'll have to struggle with my dodgy PS3 controller again to get that Saber. Still preferable to Jetpacks though.

High: Got a couple good games with Clyde for the first time in a long time, always fun and I'll try to work on getting a new mic/headset. We wrecked Jade/Cerberus as a duo to the tune of 20 minutes, unfortunately my scrubby ass ruined what most likely would've been 10WS and didn't get the 75 Venom kills for the Lord Venom Returneth challenge. Next time I'm rocking disruptor rounds because incendiary mumbo jumbo stole a few kills. Also my Claymore Human Adept kept pace with his Novaguard in our final game.
Low: Saw docsteely was on Xbox, but he must've logged off before I joined up with Clyde. More fails of N6.II, more Plat solo fails, no shotgun amps, very few cyclonics, just pure scrubbery.
