Yea. I hardly remember any. They're mostly just fetch quests. Go here kill this, grab that, come back.

There are some GREAT quests in the game, though. Really, I would say that in comparison to Fallout 3, the main storyline is much better. In terms of side-quests, you had great ones like: The Silver Shroud, The Cabot House series of quests, Covenant, the USS Constitution, and so on.
Of course, Bethesda's obsession with radiant quests is, well, fucking baffling, but it's easy to overlook the good sometimes.

I love whenever I come upon a scene from pre-war with skeletons and piece together what happened. Can't remember where exactly but near the beginning of the game I stumbled upon a scene of a man strangling a naked man (or woman) over a safety deposit box.
Makes me wonder what could have possibly taken place there right before the bombs fell.

If there's a thing they love more than telling stories with skeletons, it's putting teddy bears in inappropriate positions.

Loved Fallout: New Vegas, usually go Independent. No Gods, No Masters indeed . In many ways, I think Caesar's Legion was Obsidian's way of deconstructing the "Evil is Cool" playthrough. Yes, you can be a badass warlord, but you have to be a sexist, racist, homophobic, raping, slaving, LARPing DORK to do it. Then there's the sheer stupidity of their luddite tendencies, when modern technology could have made their conquests much easier. Finally, as faithful and accomplished in the Legion you become, you will still only be Caesar or Lanius' bitch . In my opinion, one of the single biggest missed opportunities in New Vegas is that when you finally send Edward Sallow to the Hell he so richly deserves, you don't have the Speech Option, "Joshua Graham sends his regards". That, or give the bastard a taste of his own medicine and crucify him .

Okay question who is the best companion out there in Fallout 4 ??? For me it's Curie by far she's always there even if i take the elevator i mostly lose the others but not her. And after a few days ingame she's always over encumbered because of the weapons she picks up from dead enemies the others don't do that. I have seen her with almost every weapon that's in the game ( The Sledgehammer is her favorite though ). The only weapon i have not seen her with is the rocket launcher. I have seen her with the gatling gun and she handles that gun pretty well if i may say so haha. And i also like her French accent a lot and she takes initiative what the others lack. She sometimes takes the first shot in certain situations so yeah i like that curie person.

Okay question who is the best companion out there in Fallout 4 ??? Deacon + Dogmeat But I actually really like most of them, and as long as they have good gear it's not much of a deal. I don't get into all-out brawls if I can help it -- in which case Danse is pretty much unstoppable because of his power armor. Pretty sure all companions pick up weapons (except Codsworth), but Curie prefers melee (which are typically heavy items) so I have found she picks up more than the others, who will use a gun until they're out of ammo. I have a mod that gives them infinite ammo, so I can equip them with whatever I want and they won't run out then switch to whatever is nearby. Curie also tends to get up close because of her melee style. Still, most companions seem to have pretty terrible aim...

But i like Dogmeat a lot to also one of my favorite companions. Oh i like most of my companions to. But when it comes to pick up things uh not in my game the only one who picks up things is well ... Curie. And the "pretty terrible" aim i totally agree with you i think from the thirty shots they fire only one of those shots hits the target.

They were picking up weapons in my playthroughs, which got tiring because they'd use stuff I didn't want them to. (Dogmeat is just trying to be helpful though, he doesn't use them of course. ) Haha, sometimes I think they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn...

Well as i said not in my playthroughs but i have to say something that may be the reason that some companions do not pick up weapons. Some of my companions do not stay very long with me only to get their perk and after that i dismiss them again ( the reason for that is that there are quite a few companions out there in Fallout 4 ). But still it is at least 6 to 7 hours RL that they stay with me but yeah that can be the reason. When i first meet them i give all of them a weapon and they all use that weapon ( except Curie ) the entire time that they are with me. And true Dogmeat is just trying to be helpful and he is doing a really good job doing just that. Haha yes true and even then one out of thirty shots will probably hit the target. It would be not such a bad idea that all of them could REALLY use some target practice before they join you or me for sure haha.

I'm more or less the same except I shuffle them around while working to gain their perks, because yeah there are a lot of them. Dogmeat at least grabs the humanoid enemies and holds them still (also with a perk that upgrades this) so I can take a shot... Companions in NV shot fine, it's just often if it wasn't a run of the mill raider it'd do dick all. True; the companions in NV were way more reliable. I almost got mauled by 2 or 3 deathclaws once but Arcade and ED-E really saved my ass. That's never happened in 4 with just one deathclaw. And there was something special about watching Veronica literally punch the head off of enemies.

Veronica actually does pretty good at range with a decent energy weapon, I usually toss her a plasma rifle or something to that effect and load her up with a few thousand fusion cells.

I like using Veronica to compliment my ranged preference, hobbling the enemies/distracting and what not. Even give her power armor. Never really tried to use her ranged. She likes punching so I just let her have at.

Quests really suck in Fallout 4. They do, and so do the dungeons. Respawn rates feel way too fast, like, almost as bad as they are in Oblivion. I really prefer how Morrowind and Fallout 3 did it. Some dungeons do respawn, but often take a long time to do so. Many dungeons never respawn. It adds a feeling of progress, that you're making the world a better place by ridding it of evil. Instead, the evil is like bread mold and always shows itself after a standard week and a half. This is especially bad if you're fond of not using fast travel, because some dungeons (construction sites, the Corvega Factory and the infamous respawning guy in Lexington with a Fat Man) force you to stop and fight every time you're anywhere near them.

I'd fucking love to see Obsidian take the reigns of Fallout again. After playing the ever loving sh*t out of 4 and getting to the point where I've seen and done about everything I wanted. What now? If it was one of the older games, you wouldn't think twice about making another character and trying out a different character/build/persona. In Fallout 4 you're basically playing the same character no matter how many times you change it up you still get basically the same experience because 95% of the quests are just going through the motions fetching or just rediscovering bland settlements and even more bland settlers. So what even is the point of it all? I suppose it depends on how much of a completionist you are. After I arrived at the Institute, my Brotherhood of Steel character didn't do any quests for the Railroad, and Far Harbor does give you a few options to pursue. I also play my BoS and my RR protagonists very differently from one another (power armor and energy weapons with my BoS soldier, Deliverer for the most part with my attorney turned spy who mainly uses stealth) for some variety. I also ignored the MM during the first half of my RR playthrough and only built up one single settlement - Spectacle Island - once it became the RR safehouse, which was nice (the MM were woefully underdeveloped as a faction).

One of the things I like about Fallout 4 is shooting the limbs off stupid ghouls. Come on little buddy, come get me, you can do it. I'm in no rush to do the main quest. I'm level 40 something and I haven't even rescued Dick Tracy from his captors yet.
