Sounds like a 'last resort' move to me. If weeks(months) of negotiation have got nowhere, sounds like Bethesda were no longer prepared to 'cover' for Sony. What is Sony's motive? They fear nude stuff being distributed? Its a universal company practice. They have never been a supporter of unofficial additions to games in general. This isn't anything new.

Okay similar to the TES game thread, what are people's favorite Fallout game, most played race, favorite questline, and soundtrack. Mine would be; 1. Fallout New Vegas 2. Hispanic 3. Lookout Point Questline 4. Fallout 3 (Explore_7) 1. FO4 2. Asari 3. Screw quests, they just filler in between 4. dunno, none of it annoyed me - battle tune in FO4 is quite good

I'm not concerned about the no mod thing for the PS4. It doesn't bother me. Having no mods won't prevent me from playing the game especially since I've already played Fallout 4.

I'm not really all that into mods other than performance and visual type enhancements. New Veges anti-crash tho. I noticed a few interesting ones on the Xbone that should make the gameplay experience smoother.

I'm in no rush to find my son. Finally rescued Nick and I'm level 41. Yeah, that was one of my major gripes with FO4 - I'm supposed to be a grieving widow in frantic search of her son, and then I get sucked in all those quests which dilute the otherwise VERY pressing main plot. Makes little sense to me, narrative-wise.

Very true, I had a same problem with W3 - finding Ciri is a matter of life and death, but there's this contract, and then another contract...and then x hours in the game and I've barely scratched the surface. Actually, I'm not entirely sure there's a really effective solution to this issue in open-world games.

So, after nearly a year of starting, deleting, and restarting, I think I finally have a satisfactory appearance for our Jack-voiced heroine (not the best expression in this pic, but better lighting than the others - don't mind the suit, just used for the bonus to help talk Mama Murphy off the smack):

Which of the DLC's are worth getting? I think I'm ready to dive back into Fallout. Many just give you settlement building things, from these Vault-tec one has small storyline. Others are only worth it if you have Season Pass or if you are really into building and don't have mods available. Far Harbor is most worthwhile in my opinion, it gives new area as Island and has pretty nice storyline where you can side with 3 different sides. Quite many quests, new follower as well though you might want to bring Nick Valentine with you, cause the DLC has some extra content with him. Nuka World is fun at times, but it's Raider DLC and if you don't want to go Raider and raid settlements it's content and ending is lackluster. Still, gangs have pretty clothes and it gives some more CC options. Otherwise it only fits certain type of characters. Automatron has storyline and you can make robots to company you as followers if you get tired of humans. You can upgrade Codsworth as well. It's shorter than Far Harbor and Nuka World, but was alright to me.

Well, I only wanted Nika World and far harbor, and those together are $45, so I just bought the season pass for $50. Going to start all over and be 100% sarcastic.

I am sad that Nuka World is the last one... It's a good DLC but really does not feel like a ending. Besides they lost too much time with that damn settlement creation dlc.

Contraptions was just really odd... It only really catered for the 4-5% of the fan base who could create some intricate designs. Guess Bethesda felt the "ending" and longevity of the game is in the settlement building...

What i cannot do in my current playthrough of Fallout 4 due to maybe bugs i don't know ... probably. 1. i cannot talk to Preston anymore well i can talk to him but only to trade or to let him follow me he just cannot give me quests anymore. 2. I cannot finish the quest "The lost Patrol" i just cannot talk to Danse to finish the quest. 3. i cannot talk to elder Maxson he is nowhere to be found. 4. i cannot talk to captain Kells anymore i cannot finish that quest either. 5. and the last one i cannot finish the trouble brewin quest i cannot talk to Buddy to finish the quest. Bethesda sucks point.

Only once I posted in this topic because Fallout almost died for me. I have no desire to play Fallout 1 and 2 anymore. the first not age well (try to equip four companions at once, or sell a shitload of items ..... ugh. not to mention when you lose half an hour of play because an NPC blocked some door ) and I beat the second a bunch of times, there´s nothing new for me there. I dont like the Bethesda´s vision for the franchise (115 hours in Fallout 4 and I already got sick of the game) and Tatics I never had interest to be honest. That leaves only New Vegas to me. Like Fallout 2, I beat this game SOOOOOOOOO MANY TIMES, but here is diferent, because of the mods. Always a new fresh thing in the corner. But this game dont run well in my notebook. Until this week, I apparently resolve the problem and now I can fall in love with fallout again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway, DEAD MONEY I know that some users did not like the DLC, who will never play again etc, but this is the most CORE experience in a RPG from the last gen. Obsidian never said that, but this DLC is made to be played in VERY HARD and HARDCORE mode. And my personal recomendation in a permadeath playthrough after you masterized this DLC. Everytime I make a new build, my first thought is: how this character will survive in Sierra Madre? The perks are EXTREMELY important here, unlike the vanilla game. Knowledge is power and if you know the perks, your chances will increase significantly, as shown in the examples I give below: 1) pick Rad Child and not only you nullifies the effect of the poisonous cloud, but also has a free healing indoors. 2) pick Them's Good Eatin' and you practically no need to buy / looking for stimpaks. 3) pick Mad Bomber and you can craft a lot of grenades, this weapon is really efficient against the ghost people. 4) pick Light Step to not worry about traps anymore. 5) pick Silent Running and Tunel Snake and you can avoid 90% of the combat And the list go on. The dangers of this DLC is: ghost people/traps/radios/cloud and holograms. With the example 1, 4 and 5 you pretty much nullifies 3 of these dangers. This DLC plays like a RPG. Remember in fallout 2 when you criticized the Overseer of Vault City and the entire city became hostile? Or when you slept with Mrs. Bishop and had to face her husband and his goons when you was trying to leaving the place?Dead Money is the same. Barter with Dean and he will lock you in a room full of holograms. Fool God to Dog take the control and you wont be able to save bouth personalitys forward. Save only Dog and he will turn into a Canibal monster in the slide ending. trap Chris in a quest and she becomes hostile in another. Also, the REAL reward of this DLC is hidden and not everyone can manage to get it (Luck is involved) I love the plot too and Elijah is a kickass oponent.
