50 hours now, it´s godd to be back This time I did a "generic" char, he can use guns/energy weapons/explosives with maximum efficiency. He can also be a diplomat, a sniper and a sneaky assassin too. I pick all the main perks for combat: the two for shotguns, cowboy, grunt, laser commander, 3 levels in demolition expert, he can make special ammo for guns and energy weapons, the perks for critics etc. Only melee and unarmed I ignore, but thats ok because I do not even like. The reason for this is: when I make a specific build, I get tired of it after a while, so this guy is saved only to play the quests mods that have lying around and also to test the weapons and armors mods.

So When my mom bought me a playstation 4 for my birthday Fallout 4 came in a bundle (apparently she bought a season pass too so er the dlcs finished downloading a few days ago after me procrastinating and leaving them on pause for the majority of the time) Current impressions??? Its fun But scary ... and the deathclaw happened... and it was literally the most terrifying gaming experience ive ever had But you can shoot grenades thats so cool But like I was so happy for that grenade I swear that Deathclaw was gonna murder me... Just ignore my terrible aiming... and my crouching (I crouch in every video game as soon as something scary happens)... theyre bad habits ok

Fallout 3 is amazing. I rented it one time and completed the main story, then picked up the GOTY Edition for only $3 and played the extra content. I had a hell of a good time, and Fawkes will always be my bro.
New Vegas, I've been trying to get into, but it hasn't clicked with me yet. Maybe later...
Also looking forward to the Fallout 4 GOTY version, because it's probably coming soon.

I absolutely tore through Fallout 3. Funny thing is first time I played it back in like 2009 I absolutely hated it but then I bought the GOTY Edition some years ago and absolutely loved it.
I also bought New Vegas on Steam and while the game is good I definitely don't like it as much or can't get into it as much as Fallout 3. Been dying to play Fallout 4 since that orgasmic Bethesda E3 Conference this year.

I didn't like Fallout 4 all that much, mainly because it felt like a HUGE step down from New Vegas. I mainly didn't like how they changed up leveling from what it was in 3 and NV. I also can't say I'm a fan of the whole Settlement building; as much as I'd like to build settlements, I'd rather not worry about finding the resources to haul around, the things couldn't even properly snap together, and the settlements couldn't even defend themselves if I'm out and about in the wastes.

New Vegas - Awesome RPG - Awesome Fallout game - Average Bethesda game
Fallout 4 - Awful RPG - Awful Fallout - Average Bethesda game

You know I recently (months ago) replayed fallout 3 PS3 GOTY edition and I still can't believe that Bethesda was allowed to release this.
My game seriously froze 8 times when doing the final quest. And if I were to count other times it froze it would probably go up somewhere around 18 times.

Yeah, buggy as hell, but NV is FAR most worse, is a mess, a catastrophe. Thanks God for things like NVAC, NVSR and Yup patch.
Oblivion and Skyrim I played on 360. The first is ok, but the loading screen are very annoying. Skyrim I put 300 hours and if I remember right, I have 3...4 crashs. Pretty good number.
Fallout 4 I played on PC. Have a lot CtD, but only after I installed a bunch of mods, "unofficial" mods release before the Geck come out. Without mods, a really solid performance.

I'd fucking love to see Obsidian take the reigns of Fallout again.
After playing the ever loving sh*t out of 4 and getting to the point where I've seen and done about everything I wanted. What now? If it was one of the older games, you wouldn't think twice about making another character and trying out a different character/build/persona. In Fallout 4 you're basically playing the same character no matter how many times you change it up you still get basically the same experience because 95% of the quests are just going through the motions fetching or just rediscovering bland settlements and even more bland settlers.
So what even is the point of it all?

Preston still keeps trying to date my character. Way more annoying than infinite quests since you at least get XP for doing them. But yea, they're still repetitive and just really fucking annoying.

The dialogue wheel from F4 is a bastardized version of how Mass Effect did it. You can be Nice Yes, Sarcastic Yes, Question, or Go Fuck Yourself (Which is still a Yes).

I recall quite a bit of Legion content was cut from New Vegas as originally there was much more planned out for them. Personally, I'd liked to have known more about their territory and how their own societies were outside of the invasions and military camps. Though I do know they were quite a bit of a survival of the strongest, subjugation of those they deemed lower than them, among misogynist and anti-homosexual attitudes. Though apparently their territory is actually quite safe for traders. Throughout New Vegas, if you got on the NCR's bad side you were f*cked because they were like half the map itself. Though the Legion were more much more triggered by actions against them and apt to go after you. Their assassinations parties were stronger as well. I do wonder if New Vegas is the last we'll see of the Legion.
