And it sucks that you need to delete other mods to get it to work again to be specific, I delete the space, re-upload the 20 or so so mods I have and everything seems fine. It's annoying but only takes 15 mins... It still sucks. Hell, 3 of the mods I had to delete in order to free up space for the new ones are no longer available to download anymore.

Does anyone know of any mods for XBOX that adds new statics and furniture to the workshop (I.E. sanctuary statue, Institute furniture, far harbor dock ornaments)?

Question for PC players: I got my hands on a used GTX 1080Ti through a friend who's upgrading already. I installed the new drivers over the old ones since this is supposedly fine these days. It's the same generation anyway. I did a Heavens benchmark test and it gave me almost twice the score as my 1070. So far so good. BUT in FO4 when I'm in my heavily modded settlements I have ZERO performance improvement. Graygarden still gives me 18 fps from some angles same as before. WTF?!
Same result in Subnautica. 20 fps close to my base... So I fired up Assassin's Creed Syndicate and here I have better performance. I can finally max out all graphics settings and get 58-60 fps. If it's a drivers issue shouldn't I get bad results everywhere? So my question is: is such a shit frame rate in unoptimized modded (Bethesda) games normal?? I mean, my settlements are between 5-15 times the build limit. But still... I was expecting SOME kind of improvement. But there is literally none.
Did anybody else have similar issues and got it fixed by a clean drivers removal? I have Geforce Experience installed for easy recording. I installed the previous drivers version however because I was told the latest one has issues.

Y'know, as much as I like Travis (both nervous and confident), how awesome it would have been to have a companion serving as our radio DJ in FO4 instead? Both Hancock and Deacon have fun personalities and insane amounts of charisma, so it'd have been great to have them along on our adventures, then hear their subsequent take on events.

I would try uninstalling the old drivers and then install the new drivers. I have an RTX2080 and don't have any problems with FPS like I did with my AMD card. I have a heavily modded game, especially with texture/graphics mods. I used to have slow downs in the city of Boston, especially from an elevated position like on the freeway or up on the roofs of the tallest buildings. I don't have any slow downs now.

So... Tried to download some mods today. But, for some reason it won't work. Anybody know why? Yup. Betheda's forum is semi-exploding over it since the FO 76 launch. The servers can't handle the load of FO 76 and everything else, so Bethesda has all but shut down access to Bethesda.net's content (mods and CC.) Basically, only a trickle of server capacity is available at a handful of times a day. Worse, if you attempt to update a mod, it will be deleted from your system, and you won't be allowed to re-download it. Bethesda is steadfastly refusing to acknowledge the problem, which won't work out well - virtually no CC content that was released on the 6th has been downloaded because of it. They are literally charging people money for mods that they won't allow them to download.

It's annoying but only takes 15 mins... I'd actually be careful. You're having a lot more luck than most people. For the record, deleting your reserved space probably isn't actually helping, except by coincidence. At least, the people researching the issue are quite convinced that it's not doing anything. Some of those reporting the issue are saying it helps sometimes, so there may be something to it, but because the problem is on Bethesda's end it's probably just resetting the connection to the server temporarily.

I has been smooth sailing no matter how high traffic has been on FO76.

I haven't played any of the games you mentioned, so this is pretty much a shot in the dark: for some games, the CPU may actually be a performance bottleneck just as much as the graphics card. If for example all those FO4 mods and their integration into the main game require some CPU power, an upgraded graphics card may not be much help. The same is probably true for games with intense AI calculations and the like.

Hmmmm, I have a i7-4790K from 2014 that I bought in 2015 with slowish RAM but it shouldn't make THAT much of a difference, right??? I really don't want to basically upgrade my entire PC 3 years after I bought it.

That's a pretty good CPU that should have little difficulty with anything, but some engines/games/mods might be coded badly (or just "expensively") enough to cause surprising losses in performance, especially if you combine them with mods that increase the engine's standard capacity for something. Limits like that are often imposed because they represent what the game engine can handle under normal circumstances. I don't know what these FO4 camps are like, but if 5-15 times the normal size also means that many more NPCs wandering about or items lying around, that could be the reason. System RAM might be another possible cause (and is also easier to upgrade). You could always try starting an unmodded game for science and see if the performance is different.

How much RAM are we talking? Is there maybe a point when you notice the disk being under load? That's when the swapping begins for stuff that doesn't fit into the memory anymore.

I have 16GB of RAM. Should be enough.
The CPU is now probably the bottleneck but I would think a new one would reward me with only 5-10 fps improvement. So not worth it. I don't have any other big AAA games installed right now like Witcher 3 I could test. But I suspect my settlements are just too big and have developed into a black hole, lol.
Thanks for your input, guys!

1426 hours and counting in FO4. Raider Radio is repetitive but Red Eye beats Travis imo.

Anyone else encounter a friendly mole rat? This mole rat popped up shortly after I install the recruit beacon. Its not hostile or anything like that.First time in all of the Fallout 4 games that I played that this happened.

Today, I was in Vault 88. I was in the main area where you meet the Overseer. A ghoul came at me while I was in build mode. I accidentally clicked on it and the ghoul was scrapped, broken down for its parts. This was repeatable with ghouls, deathclaws, mole rats and radscorpions.
I think a mod might be responsible. I have one that supposed to let me scrap corpses so they don't clutter up areas where I want to build. I did once have one that allowed for the removal of rocks and bushes that stick through floors. I got rid of that one because I'd accidentally removed the ground and that looked even worse.
Did anyone else ever encounter something like this or is it just the mod?

Never scrapped a house but roads are annoying. I found out I can use warehouse floors to replace the roads. Unfortunately, the Overseer's crazy ghoul friend, Julian, is gone for good. That has left her in a loop that will probably keep me from finishing the quest.
More up to date, I used to feel bad that I wouldn't side with the Minutemen in the end. I'm not anti-synth in the general sense. I wouldn't want to lose Nick or Danse. Don't care that much about Ada, Curie or even Codsworth (if those last two even count). However, the sheer number of robots that are attacking me all over the Commonwealth has made me lose sympathy for them. That's locked in my decision to join the Brotherhood.

I have a way of doing it so I only lose X6-88 in the end, but keep allied with everyone else. I help the MM until I reach 8 settlements, then I join the BOS and stop doing quests after Danse leaves, but before I find him. I become a spy for the RR. I betray the Institute by warning Maxson before the Mass Fusion quest and get banished. I tell the RR I failed and they ask me to get the MM to help. I then get Danse and defeat the Institute with the MM, which stops Tactical Thinking from taking place and I then grab Nick and start the FH DLC.

The raiders have turned chicken shit whenever I approach any of them, they scream and run away. I don't know if its because I am at a high level compared to them or I happen to have the Silver Shroud outfit on. Thought I had this thing happen in an older game to.

The raiders have turned chicken shit whenever I approach any of them, they scream and run away. I don't know if its because I am at a high level compared to them or I happen to have the Silver Shroud outfit on. Thought I had this thing happen in an older game to. Ended up being having the Silver Shroud outfit on. I put on my Vault suit and they were acting big and tough but when I put on the SS outfit they ran like scared little girls, even Gunners.

I wish you could change the spouse's name. Nate is too American for my tastes and Nora just reminds me of Nora Batty from Last of the Summer Wine.

Um, that is awesome. I like people reacting to what you are wearing even if it is only some small specific gimmicks.
