There is a 1.7 GB patch. Fernando Melo on Twitter says they updated Gild weapons. There are also evidently some graphics updates, probably fixing single player bugs. Has anyone seen more about this?

I’d like to see some nice Gold buffs that might break up the PAW monotony a bit. Don’t need to buff everything, just give us a couple of decent alternatives...

Whilst I doubt the buff will cause Rare weapons to rival the UR weapons, I believe there'll probably be a nice selection of some true "viable alternatives" to UR weapons in the Rare weapons range now. So players won't need to super heavily farm that badly for UR weapons to be viable.

The PAW seems to have gotten a magazine nerf in the past day (N7 or N8). Before, I was able to destroy all the 4 destructible covers on the landing pad ramp on Paradox, followed by the two on the third-level walkway and still have about 20% left in the clip. Now, I can only destroy the four covers before the clip runs out. Comparing TheThirdRace with the in-screen stats: Clip size reduced from 107 to 89 (with the heavy mag) Weight seems to have increased from 18 to 23 Have to run through the rest of the weapons. Soned looks like it got a damage buff. Valkyrie got a clip size nerf. These are UR weapons, of course, and Fernando Melo said they would be balancing the Gold weapons. I’m beginning to think that the weapons have rolled back to their pre-March 20, 2018 days. The Valkyrie shows 34 shots in the clip with the heavy mag. Black Widow and the Dhan have 3 shots again. Maybe the reason they haven’t posted the update is they are still tweaking things. Hate to have to go back to the stats from then.

If you're on Twitter give that a nudge over to Fernando. Ask if it's the case, if so, should be easy task of saving the March/May updates to a new update and then push to all servers again so it overwrites the XBox weapon details in the patch yesterday with a more "recent" weapons file.

Does Kishok deal 0 damage again? Quick test on PC appears that the Kishok is working fine. So I'm thinking it's isolated to the XBox players at the moment. The PC and PS players should be safe. |

Thanks to vanelsa for looking at this … probably prevent some cross platform community freakout over a "rollback" … I think folks are right, the Xbox patch, being newer than the previous server side updates, overwrote those updates, taking things back to 03/18. They intended to deploy the new server side updates yesterday, but at least as of last night, I didn't see any on PC. My guess is the server side update would have mooted the issue with the Xbox patch rolling things back … but because of the delay, it was noticed.
I'm hoping that since they specified gold, that they will leave the URs untouched and make updates to the gold weapons.
The range of the Equalizer could use a buff (imo), it is so short ranged, I just can't justify equipping it. The Talon could use an accuracy buff … I think they overdid it on the shot spread.
I really like the Shadow, but its magazine size is too small (again, imo) … would really like to see it buffed.
I watched vanelsa use the Venom to great effect on at least one Platinum solo, but I just can't stand the impact of losing charge if you are running or any other activity. That might not be a server side fix, so I won't hold my breath. Also, a lot of times, the chargeable weapons need two hits (at least on PC) to begin the charge … others have also noticed this on the Venom, the Kishock and the Lanat. My guess is that would require a patch … so I have virtually no expectation the charge issue will be fixed.
Other than that, any buffs to gold weapons would be welcome, we'll see which ones result in me adding them to my weapon rotation. |

@grinch Venom is fun on Wave 1 of Platinum. In the later waves, it's harder to use effectively because of Observers being hard to hit and Berserkers interrupting reloads. Since they can't fix the reload interrupt mechanic without a patch, the best thing they could do is to decrease both the charge and reload times. While they're at it, increase the clip size too.

I don't think there is any serious danger of that …
The patch is newer than the most recent server side update, the next update (which was supposed to come out yesterday, but apparently was delayed) will be newer than the patch and overwrite the patch weapon data.

On N7 day, Fernando Melo did tweet there's a server side patch coming for gold weapons, but as you said no patch notes are up...
He added they hit a snag on Xbox and are waiting to resolve this before putting the patch notes up. This is a very debatable decision, I don't see why 1 platform having problems prevent them from posting numbers for the 2 other platforms that do have the changes... One doesn't prevent the other, but we shouldn't be surprised of this decision, people in charge of Andromeda have manage Andromeda very badly since the beginning...
On a funny note, I got an email about 50 minutes after the patch was launched on N7 day asking me why I still didn't update the MEA MP Builder!!! Gee, I don't know man... I'm at work currently?!?! There's no patch notes?!?!?! It's only been 50 minutes for crying out loud?!?!?!?
On a more serious note, because of Mr.Melo's inability to post the patch notes, don't expect the MEA MP Builder to be updated anytime soon. For the next 2 weeks, I'll be travelling at the other side of the Earth so I won't have time to update anything before going... Everything should be updated by the start of December IF we get patch notes by then...
