OK, that the entire flat earth concept arises from the writings of primitive goat herders 3000 or so years ago, who knew nothing about science, or the world around them, but tried to explain the world anyway, based only on what they could see or imagine.

Don't need to imagine a flat Earth. Do have to imagine a ball Earth, however. But you're derailing, would you like for me to pick out one of your ball Earth proofs for us to look deeper into?

Don't need to imagine a flat Earth. Do have to imagine a ball Earth, however. But you're derailing, would you like for me to pick out one of your ball Earth proofs for us to look deeper into? It's not derailing at all. That's the entire motivation behind flat earth. It's why they deny all science in any field that contradicts what they want to believe. It's why they are willing to ignore or wave away any actual evidence, like actual pictures of the earth from space, and imagine some sort of conspiracy where some unidentified group apparently wants to fool every human on the face of the planet about the nature of the planet. For some reason I'm not understanding.
All because science contradicts their holy book. But seeing as prevailing knowledge and science, backed up by hundreds, if not thousands, of years of observations and measurements, plus ships sailing around the world, plus airplanes flying around it, plus pictures of earth from space, and no one ever ever seeing the edge of the so called flat earth, all suport a globe, the burden of proof falls on the one making the outlandish claim. You, not me. Show me the edge of the earth.
But sure, if you want to choose one and run with it, be my guest.

You keep mentioning the bible as if all flat Earthers believe in the bible. That's a false assumption. You're also derailing again. Asked you for your fave ball Earth proof for us to discuss in greater detail. You're the one claiming science backs up the globe, so asked to show it me. And you didn't just say the Flat Earth is more outlandish then Globe? Come on, be honest, which is more outlandish.

Do you not believe in gravity as well?
The one on the left is derived from the bible and maybe other older religions from the middle east. Whether you personally believe in the bible is irrelevant.

So if you were just born without any childhood indoctrination intervention and were presented those two models of the world, you would choose the globe Earth one as more reasonable?

Yes.
The only reason there's a dome on the left one is because of the firmament in the bible, for instance. it makes no sense otherwise

Then how do we have a gas pressure without a container? We living in a pressurized system is an antecedent that there must be a container. Can't have pressure without a container.

Oh, thats inconvenient to your theory, so doesnt exist, right? Sorry, I forgot
Here's a question. You agree all the other planets are globes right? Why are they globes? How do they retain their atmosphere?

You're making assumptions again, never said I don't believe in gravity. But can you explain how gravity doubles as a container? It's not possible to know if lights in the sky are globes or circles, or their size and if even physical. These are just assumptions. And why would you assume what's in the sky to dictate the shape of the ground you're standing on? Do you also look up in your room light and go because it's a sphere your room floor must also be a sphere?

pseudo science of any kind disgusts me, tbh. Maybe you can enlighten me with your fave ball Earth proof? Only need one off the top of your head. Don't have to look up anything, just want to know how you know. Gravity.

Which gravity, Newtonian or Einsteinium? The one which allows you to jump and down without being flung into space?

That is weak, just weak. They've mapped the surface of Mars by observing it from different angles. Even before sending rovers there. Earth is a planet. Mars is a planet. The light bulb over my head is not a room., false equivalency, and frankly, condescending nonsense. You didnt think anyone would be convinced by that, did you? It wouldn't fool a five year old.

As for what's outside the dome, who knows, it's just more assertions. Lets deal with things we can prove.
