i really like pathfinder's setting but i REALLY don't like how focused on min/maxing the rules are. it's designed from the ground up by and for min/maxer's and autists. the rest of us normies have to play on crayon eater difficulty just to hit a target.

With Steam, it's included that F12 (default keybind) takes a screen shot. After you exit the game, it brings up a screen that has all of your included screen shots taken in that play session. You can choose to upload them to the cloud, keep them on your machine, etc.

Origin has none of that.

i really like pathfinder's setting but i REALLY don't like how focused on min/maxing the rules are. it's designed from the ground up by and for min/maxer's and autists. the rest of us normies have to play on crayon eater difficulty just to hit a target.

Origin lacks a fuckton of stuff compared to steam. The screenshot feature I honestly not much care about. As I always have my MSI Afterburner running, so if I need screens or recording, I have everything set. Never much cared about uploading screens on my steam page/whatever.
Obviously that's just me.

Yeah it lacks stuff like that, butt really, screenshotting shouldn't be a problem, there are several programs that can do that. As simple as fraps for example (video sucks nowadays, ss can be in lots of formats, which is awesome).

I upload all the Origin games to Steam and start them from there so I can use the Steam SS. I tried Fraps and a few others but I'm just more comfortable with it. And yeah, I screenshot for the memories.

Oh yah, I have several beautiful shots of Earth from the moon, a couple'a shots from the asteroid that was gonna crash into Terra Nova, some from Illium, etc. When it comes to ME3? I've got none thanks to Origin.

You can use the good old print screen button if you set your window type to "borderless full screen" (as opposed to normal full screen).

Also, DAI supported the print screen button and captured screen shots in its own user folder - with a bit of luck, MEA will have the same or similar functionality.

I just use Bandicam for screenshots and such even if I'm using Steam. I can decide which button I want for screenshots which is nice and I don't have to worry about whether the screen needs to be in a certain way.

I personally wouldn't recommend Fraps. Yes, it's dumb easy to use, but it burns like 10 fps for just having the overlay on. And it gets much worse if you happen to be recording.

Yeah, recording with fraps is not recommended, but the overlay does not burn fps, especially not 10 fps, dunno why would you say something like that. It's used to count fps, not drop fps, lol.

SWTOR supports the standard Print Screen button and has its own folder for them. I use a slide show of screen shots as my desktop! I hope they include the same in ME:A.
