This is possibly the second variation we've seen on the Inquisition logo recently, isn't it? Wasn't there one version we saw on... like a filing cabinet or something that someone tweeted? I think Cullen's VA? And, like the hat here, it wasn't an *exact* match, but it was the same general idea of the symbol. I think the one from Ellis had a weird scar to the eye. If I recall correctly, he never did say where that cabinet was. Or why he even tweeted it. He was just like "Thank you all for being my fans. Here's a random picture." or something. lol |

I was the one who posted this cus I randomly came across it on his twitter (which is odd for me cus I usually don't just browse twitter, but *shrug*). No wonder I recalled it. lol
So, I don't know if this is necessarily related to DA4. But its a tweet from October 17th that I just came across. And I don't see it mentioned on this thread in that time frame, so... Greg EllisCompte certifié @ellisgreg 17 oct. Dear devoted #Cullenites Can you - 1. Name the symbol. 2. Explain its origins. 3. Express what it means to you. And when asked where this symbol is found irl, he replied with "Filing cabinet." So... yeah. Discuss?
He posted the tweet on October 17th. I found it on November 12, saw there was nothing about it in the twitter thread, and decided to post it. I would link directly to the tweet, but I don't know how? lol Oh, and in the above commenting chain, Tea helpfully provided a logo image for the Inquisition symbol.
And looking at it and the beanie in the new tweet, I'm even more leaning towards the beanie sporting a simplified version of the Inquisition symbol now.

To me, the symbol looks like a wolf's head (the two dark marks are the eyes) with a sword (Inquisition sword??) going through it. Its possible, I guess? Though that doesn't make the additional vertical line on the upper left of the symbol make sense. The vertical line along the midline could be a sword hilt, but what's that? Unless its a snowflake caught on the hat?
For my own reference so I don't have to keep switching pages/tabs to look: I dunno... Even if that second vertical line on the top is just snow and not part of the image, the bottom definitely has lines on either side of a line bisecting the image. And the two side lines don't look like they connect like a muzzle on a wolf face would. I still think that might be the tentacle eye of the Inquisition, but simplified, being overlaid/run through with a sword with a wide crossguard. |

It happened sometime before Anthem was announced - the devs made it abundantly clear that they've been wearing t-shirts with things related to the IP on cons and other public places. People tried very hard to fish them out on any photos with BW devs that we could find online, but alas - I don't think anybody managed to do that |

I genuinely remember zero hunts.
