OST album only has 20 tracks. I'm very disappointed. Even for DAI's album that had over 40 tracks, several great pieces got cut. Meanwhile Stellar Blade dev cared enough to release more than over 100 original music composed. I don't even play the game but I like how they treat game music. Square Enix's OSTs usually span over 4 discs at minimum. This is why I hate western music publishers.

The music is alright, but it still feels rather generic. I suppose I need to hear it in game while playing it to say if it works for me or not.
(On a another note, heh: were those violas after the violins? I don't have anything clever to say about this, just wondering. I don't think I've seen that big of a section of violas.)
playthrough time would vary depending of how much side-content we choose to do.
All of it. And it's not a choice for me in Bioware games. I ain't touching the main story as long as there is unfinished crap in my side quest journal.
I've been avoiding any content footage as best I can since the first gameplay stuff, but the music is actually even more critical to me. One of the greatest moments is loading up the game and hearing the main title for the first time.
15 years in, I still find each of them incredible. Currently replaying DAI and still let it run at least once before I actually start.

Only 20 songs for such a long game? Hmm. Not sure how I feel about that. Well, if the tracks are good, I won’t mind. Botw had a sparse soundtrack, but songs that were there were absolute bangers.

Had a similar thought and its unlikely that this is a comprhensive list honestly. Probably goign to be a lot of ambient and background music and remixed stuff for side quests, this is probably just going to be the main themes/ motifs of the game, plus the songs for the story which:

If I had to guess these are purely for the cinematics?

Hopefully there Is some ambient music while exploring. Thats one of the reasons I struggle witc Inquisition. No music outside of story set pieces.
Been playing Fo4 recently and the music Is just so captivating. Exploring feels much more Involved and satisfying with music looming In the background.

WaterTower Music records only care for blockbuster films. Dune got multiple releases. If this was from Lakeshore Records, there would perhaps be 10 more tracks.
Botw had a sparse soundtrack but Nintendo released a 7 hour long album with over 220 tracks. Japanese publishers are really serious when it comes to video game music.
