I didn’t go into this game with any plan of who to romance… She wasn’t high on my list, but after seeing how adorable Harding is, I’ve made my decision.  What i like in her romance (in one particular scene) is the difference in her dialogues. She says two different things, depending if you did her mission or not. Haven't seen that on the other companions as they seem to say the same thing. And another thing is that her expression changes and she has one of the best facial animation in the game. |

Harding is so cute. I chose her initially largely because I've been waiting twenty-four years for BioWare to bring me a dwarf romance and it seemed rude not to take it when they finally gave me one, even if she's not the character I'd necessarily have picked first. I've been completely won over, though - I like that you already know her, so it has a 'friends to lovers' feeling that no previous Dragon Age romance has, and she is of course totally adorable. I really like romancing her with a Mage Rook, too - it feels like my character is in a good position to empathize with what she's going through even though the sources of their magic are completely different.

Hey everyone,
We have our first patch for #DragonAge: The Veilguard coming later this week to all platforms! This patch will include some bug fixes, minor balance changes, and some crash mitigations. Full Patch Notes will be available with the patch!
Some examples include:
- Fixed an issue where some customizations were not applied to the Inquisitor correctly in one scene.
- Fixed an issue where DLSS options could end up “grayed-out” on a 40-series Nvidia GPU. (PC only)
- Fixed an issue that caused Companion Skill Points to reset.

The only really annoying bug I've found is switching Vitaar appearance not working right when you switch Vitaar so you have to mess around switching things back and forth to get the combination of stats and look. (No idea if this is happening to helmets as well as Vitaar; haven't made a second character yet.)

All enemies want a piece of me and with my sluggish system a small mouse movement sends the screen whip lashing around and lose site of where I am or who I'm fighting.... but they sure know my location. I find the camera zooms in and out in combat... very disorienting.

I am at level 6 I think. I was planning on romancing Neve (is she really a cold fish?), and I already avoided romance with Lace ... Maybe I will romance Bellara ... she seems cuter and less ditsy than in the previews before launch.

It's been awhile since I actually did the content for this patch so I'd have to check but I have a pretty anti-nerf policy for SP games. I know I fixed up a couple enemies that weren't as hard as they were supposed to be and definitely boosted a bunch of synergistic things though. I'll take a look tomorrow but for those that don't know, the turnaround time on these things is about a month of it's not an emergency due to certification process with consoles. Longer term my goal is to keep an eye in telemetry of any underused abilities and items (or enemies with too many kills under their belt) and audit them just to double check if they need a boost or if people just haven't figured them out yet 😉. Which build are you running? There's only one I've seen that I may tweak slightly just because it's very 1 button, no effort, super high dps. |

I really hope they give us better image previews of gear in the merchant's screen. The tiny icon we currently have shows us nothing.
Also, I noticed that the Inquisitor design you customise in the CC does not import with your Rook.

I'm running Veil Ranger building around all different damage type abilities, and all area abilities. Let's just say that max arrows damage percentage talent feels like a must for archer builds.

I have a lot of emotions now I was literally just thinking that A. we hadn't heard from you in a while so B. you were probably waiting to finish the game. Sounds like you enjoyed it though. I am still going around through Act 1 right now but having a blast, as you can read from a lot of my comments if you have them, think at least this is gonna end up being my second favorite DA game. Depending on how strong Act 3 is it might go higher.
