can't disagree with you more, on either point really, but acting and writing are two different factors. Honestly though Inquisition may be the best voice acting cast for a game ever assembled. Andromeda had some of the best voice acting in Bioware's history to be honest. Dunno if best in history is accurate, but I definitely agree it was of good quality, yeah.

Greg Buchanan @gregbuchananOver 20,000 words of game writers reflecting on ideas, romance, history, supernatural, horror, and outer space, indie to AAA, Telltale, Bioware, Ubisoft, Fortnite, Dishonored, Star Wars, & more, all collated into a single article for the first time: gregbuchanan.co.uk/newsletter/game-writers-interviewsThese were scattered across multiple, non-linked-to rough pages before so I thought I'd collate them nicely for easy reading. Some amazing insights and gems here from some of the top people in the medium (with some prose/comics/art guest stars)

jennaRainbowstans 26 @beta_normieMark of the Assassin, @feliciaday has said Tallis will not be in DA4 Personally, I never really had any strong feelings towards Tallis - good or bad. She could be amusing at times, kinda annoying at others, but that's it. My issues were more with how the beginning and ending of the DLC were written than with the character herself. I know she didn't receive the reception BW had hoped for, so this doesn't come as a huge surprise. My only desire to see more Tallis - aside from Felicia Day being one of the most adorable people on the planet - was a ranged option for daggers rogues. She could throw daggers (I'm not remembering that incorrectly, right?), which is just cool. Fight fight fight, stab stab, 'Oh no, the PROTAGONIST has someone sneaking up behind them!' Dagger in your face. Options.

Plus the sabotage tree in Inquisition had an ability of 'throw daggers' or knives or something along those lines. It did? I don't think I ever used anything except stealth from that tree Consider me better informed.

Yeah, I discovered it watching a GP video and then well pretty much ever since despite his love for Bianca I kit out Varric for all the sabotage abilities though Kara does use poison weapons for the healing bonus.

And assassin had Hidden Blades That being said there's a difference between those skills and what Tallis had as a default attack. I'd like to see that as - let's say - passive skill of some kind of dagger, like "if not in melee range, use as throwing weapon"

I'd like to see that as - let's say - passive skill of some kind of dagger, like "if not in melee range, use as throwing weapon" Tallis is pretty absurd gameplay-wise. I got it as if her daggers are ranged weapons, but both the dual-stabbity talents and her spec Not!Assassinate are melee only. I found out the hard way that she's like Varric, in that she has a carbon copy of an ordiary skill tree with the same abilites, but apparently a different ingame reference ID so she could have her weapons uniquely restricted to her (and being not allowed to equip anything else). So I tried to give her a pair of normal daggers (with requirement for the the ordinary duall-wield tree removed, as it is just an item property like +3 damage) and she glitched out. Varric can use daggers just fine though.

wardenofmyheart (Keely) wardenofmyheartI have a question. For the sounds of the dragons in DAI, what animals etc were they inspired by or based on? @bioware @biomarkdarrah justinmasse. I would really love to know. Presley HynesCrown @phrequenciesFrom Mike, the sound designer that made them: I used pigs, horses, human vocals, lions, tigers, all mixed together and morphed to create the dragons for dragon age! no real inspiration on any specific animal, I just combined different animals until I landed on something unique.
