I'm really hoping to bump into already established organic life. I mean something had to create what we seen in in the 4k tech demo. Right?

We are absolutely going to run into established organic life. Bioware has confirmed that. And they'll have an beautifully dynamic urban world and we'll be locked into an area comparable to Val Royeaux in DAI...if that. Sorry, my inner pessimist has assumed direct control.

The Remnant vault from the PS Pro footage is also mentioned in an old leak, that says: It's a fallen civilization.

I kind of hope that we make a first contact with some species that never had encountered aliens before. That would be cool

I don't really want to leave the congo, I'll stay right here. ♫ Oh, no no-no no-no! ♫ I kind of hope that we make a first contact with some species that never had encountered aliens before. That would be cool These are the voyages of the starship Tempest. On its continuing mission: To explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before!
Ah, that would be awesome if we got some of those vibes going. So I hope we got to do that as well.

The Star Ocean franchise had that scenario happen a few times and delved into it seriously, like for example the people seeing the protagonists as deities since we came from the sky or another example being the people see the protagonists as a threat and try to take our technology to gain an upper hand against their enemies on the planet.

Val Royeaux?... what a farce. You'd think with all that talk about FB3 that Bio would match it with a proper view of a large capital city and accompanying number of buildings, taverns, shops and bustling shoppers in the market areas.
Hell, the Citadel gave me a better illusion of grandeur.

The levels of Picard in this thread! I will, of course, throw in another vote for the awesomeness of a 'first contact with a civilisation that has never encountered aliens before' quest! Including, naturally, the pre-requisite 'I am not a god!' scene on your spaceship, complete with Ryder's very best Patrick Stewart speech. (Or, y'know, if you wanna play it that way since this is an RPG, the 'I am totally a God' scene.)

So if we made first contact, would people prefer a primitive civilization with low technology, taking the whole "see us as gods" route? Or would you prefer encountering a more modern but not yet space-faring society?
I think I'd lean a little toward meeting something like turn of the 20th century society. I feel like that would hit a sweet spot between the natives being blown away by encountering such advanced technology, but still being advanced enough to comprehend and respond to it.

Seriously though, I'm not sure I'd want both. I think I'd prefer for them to double down on one and do it really well. But if they could swing two different in-depth first contact arcs, more power to them. I think it would be a great addition to their "we are the aliens" theme. It would also be an interesting complication if we were not only invading and settling another galactic civilization's territory, but also chose to uplift another species that maybe the locals didn't want uplifted. Might be some fun political/diplomatic drama to be mined out of that.
