This was my very first online experience and i haven't stopped playing since it dropped. Game is like a drug as i have to get a few games in even after working a 12 hour nightshift IT gig.... .....i keep the phoenix vanguard, demolisher, destroyer, and the huntress in heavy rotation....

Yeah, best powers and weapon range in any 3rd person shooter, i was playing overwatch at a friends house and it felt so bland at the time.

I was a late bloomer, only found this game a couple of years ago. Still, it is the only MP game I play. And out of some handful of games, it's also the only game I've kept playing after finding it (= husband putting a ps3 controller in my hand, saying "Here is the big robot guy you kept asking about, he's almost immortal, go kill stuff!").
And thanks to the active community/forum here, it still is going strong. Every time after reading a few new war stories over here - no matter if they are glorious victories of friends playing together or horrorstories with frustrating pugs, the game keeps calling me back to experience some more for myself.

I don't spend a whole lot of time online in the wintertime (it's hibernation season) but come springtime I'll still be playing this

Yeah, best powers and weapon range in any 3rd person shooter I guess you missed the first three Gears of War then? The gunplay in those games was better and a reload cancel (called active reload, awesome mechanic) gave weapons a damage boost for a short time. There were no powers though, as it was strictly a 3rd person shooter.
