I thought that woman working with the Clone was from Cerberus. Have to admit though that it is such a long time since I played Mass Effect I could well have got it wrong.

Well she is a greater racist even by Cerberus standards and lets face it, Cerberus are known for being ethically loose and recruiting Assholes like Kai Leng. In short, she left Cerberus for them being too moderate and willing to work with Aliens.

I enjoyed it but in my head it takes place after the Reapers have been disposed of. This works for me because I cannot stomach any ending other than destroy and the fact that EDI is still with us just proved the Catalyst wrong, which was very satisfying. Whereas I see it different. My Shepard could have been uploaded to a Reaper, disintegrated to turn people into hus-- er, synthesized beings or dead in a pile of rubble. A great many of the squadmates and friends could be dead post-war. I don't think an Epilogue Citadel would work as well. I do understand why people like it. It's very lighthearted in relation to what is going on at the time. Still, I'd boil it down to Joker talking about "hands in the air" dancing for people who don't think they're going to survive. It's like living your final moments before the end, which is a big reason why it's so important to meet up with all of you friends. In all likelihood, you'll all be dead so you may as well enjoy what's left of your life before it's over. Shepard even says they'll never get a party like that again. It's like saying they're not coming back. Cheesy? Oh, yes. Worth cramming whatever's left of your life into a few days? Also, yes.

Citadel has some good points and bad points. It's a favorite for me for giving us Armax Armali arena to fight with ME2 teammates and earn credits when we're low. We could fight all of Shepard's classes and compare effectiveness. We got more content with ME2 teammates though less popular romances were still neglected while we ended up with...those creepy one night stands for the romanceless. Some of the autodialogue was painful and Liara was unavoidable in certain areas.
Omega, surprisingly, ranks higher than Leviathan for me because it brought forth new enemies, gave us our first female turian in the game, paid attention to our paragon/renegade leanings, visited different and familiar parts of Omega and expanded that hub to give it a more massive feel. Leviathan...had the same enemies, repeated the same thing the Catalyst said, which came off as redundant and unnecessary, was tedious in the research looking for it and had a creepy souvenir I never wanted.

I meant it from the perspective of Shepard who was going off and thinking s/he would probably end up dead. OTOH, since BioWare was apparently pushing Synthesis as the A+ ending, maybe that was the intention.

OTOH, since BioWare was apparently pushing Synthesis as the A+ ending, maybe that was the intention. From my Shepard's perspective, dying could happen on any mission that he/she has been on. Nothing different about the one on Earth. Having that thought is a distraction and could hamper you from putting all your focus on the mission. Bad things can happen if not completely focused on the mission.
Bioware can push the green all they want. My Shepard has no interest in the green.

True enough about any mission could lead to death. I was thinking in terms of "end game" and how they were going head-to-head with a large Reaper force.
As for green, pretty sure I've made my disdain for that ending on multiple levels, not least of which was the outright lie about "end of evolution".

I was thinking in terms of "end game" and how they were going head-to-head with a large Reaper force. Why should that matter? The end is when it's over. No one knows when that will happen no matter how long or short a fight lasts.

The worst part is finding out how the Reapers created a self-serving prophecy (Hi to all the Geth who helped Sovereign!) while ignoring a crud ton of other threats like the Rachni threatening all other life. At that point, I'm content to ignore the Catalyst and place headcanon higher than that clusterfuck of stupidity.

But at least 95% of your posts are negative towards BioWare games(I don’t think I’ve ever seen you say anything positive about any of the games) so people are curious about why you spend time of a forum for a game company you only express negativity towards.

Presumably because he wants it to be a CDPR game or even a Telltale game - though they folded so what does that say about their style?
