DAMP banter usage in real life

Well....shit

I was going to post this in the PUG thread, but decided to post it here instead:

I was in between matches earlier, clicked "Ready" and went off to go do something in the other room real quick while waiting for the other players to ready up. The short version of the story is that I suffered a nasty fall, followed by a faceplant into a door. I was like, "I'll be fine, I'll be fine!" followed by "Walk it off, walk it off". I picked myself up off the floor, hobbled back to the computer in time for the match to start. At some point during the match what had just happened sort of kicked in and I started to hurt and felt pretty shaken up. Then it was "Creaking back, broken ribs" and "I'm too old for this shit!"

All joking aside, the fall was due to some health problems but I booked a doc appointment for Thursday. I booked it...after I finished the match, of course.

When I wake up tomorrow, it'll probably be, "My WOOUUUUNDS ARE TOO MUCH" and "I can't go on much longer like this!!" and "I...can...still..fight."

Nah, it's ok to laugh! I always try to see the funny side of things. If I didn't, I'd go crazy. Well, craz-ier. I'm a bit banged up. I have back problems and my right leg tends to go numb a million times a day, but I also somehow twisted my knee on the other leg during my sleep the other night. When I stood up to go in the other room, my left leg didn't support me and my knee buckled and it caused me to go skidding across the floor and I crashed into the door across the hall. I really should put a cam in the house, I'd probably make a mint with the clumsy things I do on a daily basis.

I wish I knew what I had done in my sleep the night before. It felt sore/twisted like when I had a dance injury from rehearsing too hard for a show several years ago. Perhaps I was having a dance-off in my sleep?
