Okay, on the plus side: - I think this is the best gameplay excerpt yet. Really great to see the Colossus, Storm and Interceptor doing their own thing in a shared mission.
- Showcases traversal and tactical combat, mixing airborne and ground maneuvers. Really nice mix
- I think I'm in love with that Interceptor personalization. Stylish! Though looks like she jacked my style (see avatar).
- Interceptor aerial acrobatics. Nuff said.
- Interceptor player was using KEYBOARD AND MOUSE (note [E] and [Q] prompts)! Take that, PCMR whiners about flying with KB/M being too hard.
- See, it's not all jungle!
On the minus side: - Cringe! The VO dialogue is very distracting. When it wasn't idiotic -- talking to someone who can't hear you, Owen has to clue your cluelessnes in -- it sounded so forced.
- Environmental detail is a little lacking. Not sure if that is video compressions, early build not polished, LOD, or what.
- The Storm personalization was booooring!
- Wonder what difficulty this was? Enemies sure seemed to go down fast.

Hmmmm....kill enemies...move on to next section and repeat. Sound effects sounds like they was ripped from Andromeda and the action looks a bit frantic and all over the place....explosions...erratic actions etc....the flying looks good and everything looks good in general, but eh...idk.
I'm thinking that maybe this game just isn't for me....i guess this is a genre like Destiny?....loot grinding...etc....i want to see more of the story element since that is what i'm most interested in, but most likely not a day 1 purchase for me and the banter between squadmates was a bit cringey and nerve- racking. Looks a bit repetitive as well, but if these types of games are structured in this manner...Destiny, Warframe..etc, then i guess it is what it is.....and people that are into this sort of game will love it....me personally, at least at this time...the game really isn't pulling me in....
But it could also be that maybe i'm just not into this type of game....

Yeah, dialog is pretty bad. It's like trying to be hip and funny meets failing. And there's no end of it.
All missions seem to be of the very generic type and copy - paste, go there, shoot enemies that magically spawn, click a button, fly through some hoops (which doesn't make much sense). Rinse and repeat. I guess that's the price you pay for having to account for multiplayer.
All that said, it's not like i didn't expect something like that. It's the type of game it is, multiplayer looter shooter. To its credit, it does look pretty fun, gameplay seems polished.

- It was already stated than the amount of dialogue will decrease when you will go to replay the mission
- hmmm not sure but to me looked pretty impressive overall but i'm not into the new type of post processing stuff so i tend to not recognize the various effect or they lack

This gameplay trailer was weird. I watched it twice, and I think that the feeling of excitement in that mission came from the voice overs and not from what was actually happening on screen. The VAs were like enthusiastic sport reporters, making a 3rd league match seem like a championship final by the tone of their voices alone. I understand that the mission was about retrieving one guy who had taken a wrong turn out there, but the tone of the voice overs gave the impression that something much larger was at stake here. And the Scars were repeatedly described as enraged, mad and so on... when all what they actually did on screen was moving around at walking speed and dying by the dozens.
It's almost like the good old "tell, don't show" principle is back again.

Daymn this looks awesome to me. Fluid combat as in MEA(MP), excellent enviroments and chaos all around - I think the fastest javelin is mine... Gotta watch those shield and energy levels tightly. Seems there are acid bombs too. Hope its really good to play with KB&M, especially those area effect bombings are a bit iffy on DAIMP. Clearly this gameplay is cut into tight segments and looks like it is early mission on easy, maybe..

It probably is neither easy nor cheap to always pick the voice of the individual Freelancer who triggered the action that caused a certain voice line to play, if there is such an action at all, and so the game used the party leader's voice by default, which of course comes in handy for solo play. In earlier trailers, there were occasional subtitles for the Freelancer, but it was oddly inconsistent and clearly the exception.

I think the only freelancer a player will hear is their own. Right. And the dialogue you hear can be different from what someone else hears on the mission depending on your gender, your relationship with the crew, whether it's the first time playing the mission (you get a bigger info dump) vs your second time or more (less info)... I think with the video they either edited it so that pulled just the dialogue from just one of the freelancers, or they're all played women so they would get the same dialogue, or simply BW set it up the demo so they would all hear the same dialogue. And this is one first missions so there wouldn't be any divergence.

I haven't see anything like intelligent enemy tactics and even the heavies are obliterated much too easily. Everything is wiped out about as fast as it spawns. This might be a mainly solo game after all. The gameplay was far and away the best so far...nice to watch people that know what the hell they're doing.

Im seeing a empty world until you reach a objective, maybe thats the way it is though an you need to specifically go into freemode is it? An not mission/stronghold mode to see a "populated" world
In truth, outside the customization vid, im finding it hard to judge much of anything, it all just seems the same, still left with a meh feeling an needing to try it myself but not a overwhelming need or even the same need i had with the original E3 trailer
