what do you remember and like about him Not too much. We had that conversation something like two years ago? I did like that he was not Kai Leng. I did like that he came of as actually competent and intimidating. Little bit of an asshole, though. But that's good. I wouldn't call my Shepard, who electrocuted a guy and shoved another guy out a window, a paragon of virtue, either. Even as someone in the squad called me "King of the Boy Scouts". Wasn't Dutch supposed to look like Arnold in Predator, or was that just me saying that he needed to shout "GET TO DA CHOPPA" at least once?

I personally don't see the value in EA for another company to try and buy them out. Unlike a lot of other publishers a lot of their revenue is licensed properties and not IPs they actually own. That is why Bethesda was such a big value purchase for Microsoft because they bought all the IPs that Bethesda develops.

That is why Bethesda was such a big value purchase for Microsoft because they bought all the IPs that Bethesda develops. There's a ton of IPs that EA owns that are underused and discarded, basically, at this point. The Ultima series IP, the Sims IP, Command and Conquer, Dungeon Keeper, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, Need For Speed, Dark Age of Camelot, Mercenaries, Populous and Titanfall. Just to name a few. In addition to their mobile space IPs, like Bejeweled.
Not to mention, they just bought Codemasters and, subsequently, all their IP.
And, of course, there is also Battlefield and Apex Legends, the established IP that is FIFA which, while licensed, is incredibly lucrative, as is Madden. EA also seems to have some rights to Tetris? I know that the rights to that IP are more obscure than any legal team would like to know, but it seems that Tetris is part of EA's IP portfolio to some extent.
Safe to say that, if a company where to acquire EA, they would find a dearth of IP.

Its not about EA not having value without FIFA or Madden, but how much lower value EA might be without those licenses.

Its not about EA not having value without FIFA or Madden, but how much lower value EA might be without those licenses. Considering the multitude of legal battles EA finds itself in, because of lootboxes and how regulation and legislation may put an end to that source of revenue sooner, rather than later, it may be a more attractive option for EA to sell itself slightly undervalued now, than wait for legislation to cripple their income and sell themselves at a massive loss. EA have, in fact, been looking for buyers, even if just to test the waters.

Um, why would they sell the Titanfall IP when it’s latest game Apex Legends is doing so well? Yes, they are the same IP.

Highly competent, extremely intimidating and a high functioning psychopath and yes he is the type of N7 to say, "GET TO DA CHOPPA." Well He is not Kai Leng because he doesn't like to use melee weapons but his fists and biotics in addition to heavy weapons. Yes he is that strong and endurable.

I think Phantom and I had worked out a ME gacha idea, some time ago. Or was it themikefest ? One of the ideas we throw around was about a N7 Fury turned bad named Dutch and a Cerberus Phantom. The other idea was your Cerberus Phantom and my Cerberus Gymnast kidnap the t'soni asari, plant a control chip in her head. She commits acts of terror against her people. She is caught and found to be working for Cerberus. Garrus is asked to investigate her case. He finds some disturbing things about her. He agrees she should be executed for her crimes. In the end, it was Shepard, with help from Miranda, who headed the operation to rid the galaxy of the t'soni.

One of my other ideas that Cerberus Phantom and Liara teaming up to take down Dr Henry Lawson that became the New God-Emperor of the Galaxy. Liara's motivation for recruiting the Cerberus Phantom that he is the type of person would assassinate her due to her being partial indoctrinated by the Reapers. Of course he does kill her at her request

Teaser Trailer from Total War: Warhammer. Theories seem to be it teasing WH3 End Times but the teaser is short, cryptic, and, honestly kind of uneventful.

Has anyone seen the recent news with Nintendo?
Their original projections for their sales were off the mark; it was even higher than expected! And they've passed the 3DS in terms of sales already (or, I think, are well on their way to doing so). It may even be a matter of whether they'll eventually surpass the Nintendo Wii system in terms of sales numbers.
Very interesting... I'm not usually into this sort of thing, but I'm surprised that Nintendo's comeback is as big as it is. Gotta admit: it's impressive.

Wouldn't quite call it surprising, given the only positive feedback I've ever seen on it was with regards to 'relative' Cyberpunk 2077 performance...but I also wouldn't have called it, either. An idea ahead of its time (i.e. tech didn't match ambition)? Or an idea ahead of its market (i.e. gamers just 'weren't ready' for the concept)? --> referencing the note that Google is looking to shop its streaming tech to publishers, not the closure of the studios, of course.
