Ya I've also had that movement one before but that ones fixed pretty quickly as described. This ones who knows. Only thing I could think of was that I run it through steam now, but then those other posts are from before steam even had the game. I'll just have to deal with it, thankfully if the game loads in without it then it won't happen anytime during the play session.

The none-bosses enemies were set to have veteran difficulty HP in story mode. Took them long enough (after multiple people repeated it online) to realize it I guess.

Looks like along with double xp starting on the 4th, they will also have a collections unlock discount for the week as well

So I feel that it's about time that I share my character with the forum, seeing how I'm (most probably) staying for the long term. The solo content for the game is definitely enough to satiate my Bioware addiction after all.

Here's my Sith Warrior, Theatrix. She's a Zabrak who turned to the light side after being convinced by a reflection of herself on Tatooine that all her pain and misery channeling the dark side is just simply not worth it. Similar to Ruth Shepard, my MELE counterpart, she's got a rough background, probably far rougher. Much like what I did with my Mass Effect headcanon, I'm probably breaking a few canonical lore here, since Siths don't usually become goody two-shoes who sympathize with the Pubs (doesn't help that I read that the Dathomirian subspecies of Zabraks are inherently ritualistic and violent in nature - see Darth Maul), but I played Theatrix as a Zabrak who found peace in her life after turning to the light side, after years of pain and paranoia and bitterness. lol What can I say? I love to roleplay characters who find redemption. Again, see my Ruth Shepard.



I also played around with her outfit a little to make her look more Jedi-like than Sith. lol She always dresses in white nowadays to reflect her light side. Buying white dye on the Cartel Market just for that roleplay is expensive, but it's worth it.

Not thrilled with combat styles. It's yet another "recycle existing content and sell it as new".

The game needs more content and more often. A couple of Flashpoints per year and a tiny planet map is not cutting it. High time they also make the Operations tied to story (Dread Masters) being available as Solo options.

At least you're getting something. Fans of some of their other games don't get to say the same. 

I'm just imagining all the bugs they are gonna have in cutscenes now considering all the different weapon combos a class can now have. They still haven't even fixed it on companions that switched weapons a while back, or if you have a blade on your back instead of the hip..

The Jedi Guardian combat style is on the PTS

There is somethings that I don't think they mentioned in the stream in that write up. Combat styles comes with a changed leveling process to reduce the total amount of unlocked abilities you have. Focus, Vigilance and Defense both have two "paths" now.

These short stories are... fine - not that I bother to read through all of them - but I'd much rather they dedicate the writing team to the game itself. lol

I heard that it's because EA, or rather, the Bioware team attached to this mmo no longer have the budget to hire voice actors like they used to. On the other hand, I also read that the devs explained that it's not that they couldn't afford to hire actors to voice lines - they've been doing that since Mass Effect so they knew how to balance the budget - but rather, it's the mmo aspect of the game that's stretching their budget thin. I feel like it's probably a mix of these two, the mmo finance stretching the bank thin, so they couldn't afford to spend the money somewhere else, like on the writing and the voicing.

Overall, I consider the game a failure like Anthem if that was true, because it means that they're barely keeping themselves afloat just to keep the mmo aspect of the game alive, rather than what made the game great in the first place: the story and dialogue.

I'm up to my sixth class story by now, the Sith Inquisitor. Quite fun, got to be real sadistic. But two more class stories to go, and I'll be done and moving on, at least until there's some major update to the story. My Sith Warrior main is kinda just hanging around being bored, waiting for the next chapter to arrive.

Outside some QOL changes and a few lesser restrictions for F2Pers/Preferred, nothing of note since 2017 outside of end game gearing mechanics that was totally revamped, but if you start new characters that's not an immediate thing to learn about.

For professions, pick 3 of the gathering skills (bioanalyze, scavenging, slicing, archeology) and sell the mat. Crafting isn't worth it unless it's artifice to make dye/color crystal, you are a raider and use lots of medpack/stims (biochem) or spend all your time playing the market. Sometimes I only take slicing on my characters, which is directly harvesting money from nodes.
