I'm not expecting the 6.2 story stuff to be too long but I really hope it puts a solid finish on this whole KOTFE/KOTET/Emperor plotline. I'll probably use a 7 day ref to check it out at least on an imp and pub toon. Then wait and hope that next year they do a big expansion or something. You don't need to be subbed to play this update as long as you have all the expansions from what i understand so there's that,i'm also hoping this is the last time we see Tenebrae/Vitate/Valkorion as this seems to be like the perfect send-off for his character (not going to spoil anything but they seem to bring back a lot of people for this).

Ya I figured as long as you subbed during Onslaught you'd be fine. I just can't imagine playing with the ftp/pref restrictions. Also I did jump in today and holy crap prices on the GTN skyrocketed on stuff! I'm going to assume that's due to conquest being easier to complete and get rewards to sell for? Cause last time I was on black/black dyes for example were like 20 mil and now they are above 100...

Story update was alright. Thought it took a decent amount of time and put a solid end to the lingering emperor plot. However the new flashpoint was rubbish, only did the story mode but they overloaded it with trash mobs that take way too long to kill. I feel sorry for anybody that does it as a tank. Also was kinda disappointed that they didn't bother doing some unique faces for these new Mandalorian npcs, most just use the old generic player options
But hey for a free update, the first half was really solid while the last half could of used some more work. Def worth at least checking out if you are playing

New patch soon 6.2.1a (bug fixing)This one made me chuckle: Players are no longer killed when running into walls of the Mandalorian Battle Ring Arena.That was annoying, happy it is fixed: Preferred status players now correctly loot credits to their escrow when their credit cap is reached.

So the update that turned the planet Bonus Series into dailies moved a few side quests around it seems.
I found one on republic Taris. I was all "that's a new quests??? I feel like I've done it before but now here". But it was moved from backwater Taris to Taris arrival zone. The quest makes a bit more sense now.

They added "exit to entrance" to some quests, brought the quest givers closer to that exit point, but didn't fix that one????

Some more things about the Galactic Season. Officially confirmed that progression is legacy-wide for the track. Rewards, when it make sense, will unlock in collection (ex: cartel market items). The Fleet apartment rewards, you won't see other players running around, but they are still deciding over linking the fleet chat to the instance (aka tell the devs to do it). I'm glad about more story stuff, I wish it were less flashpoint and more story though :-\ I came to scream about the hint from the other day though from conflicting whatever it was ZENITH FINALLY . Not "expac" story content have been flashpoints (or less often daily areas) since Fractured Forged Alliances. It's basically the only design paradigm they haven't moved away from. I think we can expect the usual ~20 minutes of cutscenes that comes with it ( and 40-50 minutes long flashpoint full of trash mobs with too much health). The flashpoint will also have different NPCs joining you and enemies based on you character being Imperial or Republic. As for the "spoiler", I'll believe it when I see it.

I mean the extra goodies for just logging and playing is always nice. Though I hope it's not too punishing on those of us that aren't playing 24/7. I don't think they should let people skip levels with cartel coins though, in game credits is fine.
As for the story stuff, will wait and see. I really miss actual fully flushed out planets. It's been just a small sliver of a place and then maybe a flashpoint in the last bunch of updates.

Fleet chat is mostly use for trading and making PUGs (well at least on Republic side). It's not like DK's chat... I mean the extra goodies for just logging and playing is always nice. Though I hope it's not too punishing on those of us that aren't playing 24/7. I don't think they should let people skip levels with cartel coins though, in game credits is fine. Like everything else they designed, people will find how to do it in a week or two by exploiting something when it's supposed to take a few months (a Season will last 5 months). The only issue I can find is that like the old conquest, you're stuck having to do content you don't want to do as it says new challenges and some conquest tasks will get bonus points. New Conquest might be a bit too easy to finish, but I don't have to hunt content anymore, I can just play my character and it's newbie friendly.

I finished my Consular Chapter 1 at level 65.5. I'm only running with the XP booster given by class/planet quest lines and some of the legacy unlocks (class /exploration/FP). I'm now level 66 because I did the Black Halo weekly, one of my favorite place to see how my characters are performing. I've done it often enough to know when things go well and when they don't (aka more than 20-25 minutes and the char is under performing). I'm really enjoying the Consular more than the Knight too. It's a mood thing. ---- Some weird things thought, I'm pretty sure there are two missing quests in Alderaan Bonus Series, both at the first outpost you go.

Ya you can level up super fast these days. On my trooper I just wrapped up tat at 74 lol. That's with the xp armor, timed boost and guild 15%.
I feel like Gunnery/Arsenal has gotten a pretty big nerf, like the damage output compared to other classes I've been leveling feels super weak. My mains an Arsenal BH and I used to burn through stuff way faster.

Why has nobody told me? Not that I asked people to tell me, but still, so random to learn about that while reading comments about something totally unrelated. Female Trooper gets a flirt option with Elara Dorne post Onslaught (in 6.1 to be precise). That's so random, also about paperwork. Now I kinda want to continue my Vanguard too. As if I didn't have enough of a Shadow, Juggernaut and Guardian...oh and the Operative.

So i'm having a pretty odd issue lately. Sometimes when I launch the game it refuses to have the wasd keys work for movement. They'll type fine in chat/gtn etc but I cant' move with them. I've tried resetting the interface, keybinds etc doesn't work. Have to fully close the game and for whatever reason it may or may not work again on the restart.
Only game it happens in and I've had no changes to background apps and don't use any overlays

shaqfu I never had that problem. Going by a quick search, looks like this is an old random issue and there might be multiple possible causes: - alt-tabbing for long period of time - using a 3rd party app- ^ the one above could also be other mouse/keyboard apps.

So i'm having a pretty odd issue lately. Sometimes when I launch the game it refuses to have the wasd keys work for movement. They'll type fine in chat/gtn etc but I cant' move with them. I've tried resetting the interface, keybinds etc doesn't work. Have to fully close the game and for whatever reason it may or may not work again on the restart. Only game it happens in and I've had no changes to background apps and don't use any overlays Never heard of this either,i've had problems before with my character constantly running and the only way to stop it was to press each movement key (wasd+arrow keys) not sure what's causing these issues honestly.
