how did you like the new All World Swoop Racing event last week?
I tested it back on the PTS and liked the changes they made for the live version and honestly had a blast (literally ).
some courses (and cheevos) were harder to get - and one impossible due to a bug but overall a fun event imho

unfortunately they removed all vendors from the fleet :sad: weird though because all other rep-faction-vendors remain accessible even if the event is not active... hope they change that

July Events

Swoop Rally coming back at the end of the month.

There was a live stream today too.

SWTORista took some notes so you don't have to watch.

The game had 2 millions players in the last year. I'm sure that wasn't at the same time, but that's very encouraging, new expac really brought back people.

There is a new event coming in the Fall called Feast of Prosperity. Annual recurrence similar to Lifeday.

The bad: 6.2 was pushed to the Holidays for quality reasons. Will get extra content added (two story in one update is what is promised).

I almost want to switch my install to Steam just to get the Lana and HK cards.

Over 25k players just on Steam right now and this was released without much fanfare. I'm surprised the servers can handle that much players at the same time. That means more than 5k players per servers, I was sure 4k was the top.

On other news, the Nightlife event was apparently bugged, fix coming next week and it's getting extended to August 25th.

Also, Swoop Rally event coming back next week (start the 28th, there is a patch that day too).

Someone made a guide to switch from the launcher version to the Steam (only work without redownload if you have removed BitRaider on the original launcher).

That's basically why I always return to Imperial toons. And while the Jedi Guardian isn't as bad as the Consular, the Juggernaut just feel so much more powerful animation-wise.

As for a trolling with a Nautolan...make a Smuggler and rush to Tython as soon as you can. Trolling would even be in character!

Loving this game right now Question though, when's the optimal time to sub. I know a sub isn't too advantageous early on in the game but you really need it to progress later on. So I was wondering at what point is best to subscribe? Level 60 or a bit before then?

New patch, 6.1.3, mostly a bug fixing patch.

There is a double XP event starting September 15th and lasting until October 13th.

6.2 is also now on the PTS.

Login Rewards...hmm, hopefully they aren't sending those via in-game mail.
