I don't have this bug nor have I seen it anywhere so far.

In other news: GC rank 50. Almost full 230 set (implants are 228), sadly only 3 pieces with set bonus so far. Doesn't matter though, I'm slowly nearing tier 2 (rank 91+) and then I get better stuff anyway.

In my opinion/experience, ranked PvP is the fastest way to get command points, followed by unranked PvP and story mode uprisings. In theory Galactic Star Fighter would be just as fast, if the queue would pop. Story mode uprisings have the greatest potential if you have a good, fast group that can finish in under 10min.

You know what's annoying? Spent the last couple of days grinding GC on one character and then decided to take a break and play alts.... and set bonus pieces just drop on my non-main toons at rank -10..... O_o

Also, if you have alts, its better to have alts.

If you are online at weird times and can't do group content because of that... run the Esseles/Black Talon flashpoints solo in veteran mode. It's hilariously easy, you can basically use a speeder and just dash through all the enemies, then AoE them on chokepoints before elevators. You can skip the bonus boss on Esseles (you need 2 people to spawn the droid) but you can do all of them on Black Talon. Dialogue choices for shortest way/most boss fights. You make ~700 command points in ~15min, can repeat it in infinity and if you save all the command xp packs until your inventory is full, then you can get even more out of them by using a command booster and making sure you have a bonus from D/L.
This beats unranked PvP for cxp/time and gets very close to ranked PvP wins. Only running story mode Uprisings in a fast group is better ... but nothing beats those two flashpoints for solo players.

You also get two of those for the daily PvP mission. I've got 3 chars more or less ready for PvP, but only my main has proper gear for ranked. Currently thinking about how to gear my tank, since PvE and PvP have different requirements.

Gold Elite enemies now reward 2 Command Experience (up from 1).  <---Actually down from 10, but who's counting? 

Heroics and weeklies have always been primarily for credit grind. It stays 20cxp because full 450 cxp requires planetary completion. Some heroics requires you to do 3-5 heroics and that doesn't even count 20-23cxp Champions within each heroics (several of the heroics have 2-3 of them) and you'll mostly kill 10+ Elites in an instance. I like credits more than I do with cxp boxes.

Because of the maintenance, I got a clean connection (for a few hours at least american servers) and tried Uprising... it was really easy on my Marauder but I noticed ranged toons tend to have harder time staying alive. Ended up ignoring the adds (usually my job in FPs) and focused on shaving the boss HP for the group. Love the one on Tatooine where you can summon animals.

My mood to keep playing died a few days after finishing the expansion, too much grind (AGAIN) for my taste. At least my 2 months subs also finished at the same time and since there are no new content i will now use the money to pre-order MEA instead.

Maybe i will pay again next year if they bring new story content.

The schematics that drop aren't necessarily for your class. My Sage got tons of tank stuff, which sucks for him a little... but my Guardian starts off almost fully geared with 70.
My Sage has got 5 set pieces (rank 70), my dps are both at ~15 and have two each. Considering that I did all of that in two weeks, the progress is fast enough.
It's getting even faster now that they increased the cxp rewards for Uprisings and Flashpoints.

I think I can complete the weekly PvP missions (including at least 3 dailies), weekly Uprisings, weekly Flashpoints and Conquest on four chars without investing more time than before. This should net me 7-8 GC ranks each week on each char on average. That's decent progress.
This also means that once a char is geared well enough, I can switch to another alt. Let's not forget that I can craft almost everything by now, the only thing I really need from the crates are the set pieces.

It's not alt friendly and BioWare still needs to tweak a few things but overall it's working just fine. People are dismayed at the sheer amount of work asked of them to get to rank 300 etc but the truth is... it isn't really much more work than getting 224 gear in 4.0. It might even be faster. If your class doesn't depend on the set bonus much, then you can gear a char up in a week or less, depending on what you can craft.

228 is all crafted, with decent stats but no set bonus. Doesn't require any exotic materials.
230 purple crafted is equivalent to blue and purple from crates, except that purple from crates have set bonus and can be modded. Crafted requires exotic materials but those are still somewhat easy to come by (I haven't had to buy any). They drop in flashpoints and you get them as daily reward from doing PvP.

Tier 1 = 230
Tier 2 = 234/236
Tier 3 = 240/242

236/242 is a very rare, legendary drop from the crates (gold). Best not to count on getting those.

My recommendation would be to either keep wearing your 224 raid gear if you have it until you can replace it piece by piece with purple 230... or, if you are wearing 208 gear right now, replace that completely with crafted 228/230 and then replace it with purple 230 from the crates as you go.
Some items are better crafted, depending on your desired stats.
Compare each item in detail before you claim it. Write down the stats if you have to do, run them through a calculator to account for different mods/augments... they'll keep. No reason to rush anything.

Personally, I disintegrate everything that's green, without even looking at it. Orange gear with blue mods gets used, but I keep the 228 mod instead because that's better for me. Different stats etc. Purple gear I take as is. Of course, everything I wear is augmented.

I probably should craft and sell all the new stuff, I've got ~170 stims/medpaks piled up, I've got a bunch of 228 augments and grade 10 augment kits... not to mention all the leftover hilts, barrels, mods, enhancements and an alacrity implant I made accidently. ^^

Seriously, having 8 companions on each of my 10 chars is like having a factory. I can issue them tasks, log to the next char and by the time I'm through the first one is done and awaits new orders. By my calculations I could make ~5 million credits each day if I keep that cycle up for ~3 hours. But who needs money, eh? Wouldn't know what to buy with it anyway.
