5.4 brought a lot of bugs to the game. They still haven't fixed cp stuff with the dailies area.

There's only ONE guy handling the class changes... but SWTOR have been understaffed for years now... it is known

The bug for the cxp gain in certain areas was purposely left that way for now. They said that people were enjoying so they were going to leave it that way for a few weeks. I enjoy it. I finally got my main to 300 gc.

KotET was compressed because it was meant to be 3 seasons not 2, but people felt it was taking too long to tell the story and so they shortened to move on to other things (Iokath, Umbara and whatever is coming up). That might be why it feels simple.

Honestly I miss actual expansions like RotHC and SoR. But that's just me. Maybe others prefer it this new way. I really miss getting explorable planets though and content for everyone.

The Aric/Torian reunions were really well done IMO.  Then there is Vette, who hardly seemed to care that you were still alive when you finally see her again.  An entire chapter dedicated to Kaliyo who is probably one of the least popular characters.  I don't really understand their plan when it comes to companions.

I'm fine if they return the remaining comps only to the specific class and not everyone, it's not like anyone needs anymore companions on their list.  Really well done alliance alerts (fully voiced, none of that old school nonsense) are fine with me.  It's not like it really matters anyways though, considering the only comp we are likely to see in cutscenes from here on is Lana. 

I can't express how much I hate what they've done to companions. They've made all of the killable so now they won't be important to the story and introduced all these new companions that pretty much mean nothing to anyone. I very, very rarely use any of the new companions. I only use Lana/Koth/Theron when forced in cutscenes.........which is pretty much always now. I have hk-51 who I use sometimes. I don't even use Ranos/Niko/Shea/Z0-0M that often (is that all the reward companions)?

I would gladly give all of them back (except Arcann) to have all my original companions back. I agree.....no old style conversation alliance alerts for returning LIs or I will riot and more frequent e-mails would be nice.

I really think they misunderstood when players said they wanted companions to be more meaningful to the story. Remember back in vanilla when you were doing a cutscene and had a companion out, no matter who it was, they would sometimes comment on what was going on? Or sometimes out in the world you would get a comment from whoever you had out about the environment or situation? I believe that's what people wanted. At least, I did

Oh, well. Such is life, I guess.

See, I would sacrifice all non-LI companions (except Tharan Cedrax and original droid comps) to undo all this Eternal Empire stuff, and retcon the end of Revan so we just knock some sense into him and he accepts his story's over. No Emperor, no bullshit bigger Jaws story.

Then maybe re-work in the Iocath stuff (the only interesting part of the expansion) with a dual story (Imp/Pub) where they don't imply 7 of the 8 galactic heroes fucked off for no reason.

And if that's not enough, they can also throw Kaliyo and Raina Temple in the bonfire. Good riddance.

Yeah, I read that road map.  There are not enough negative words for me to express my utter disappointment in the lack of returning companions. 

I hope I don't lose any of my character names to mergers

Keith stuck around for about 45 minutes or so after and answered stuff in chat. I felt some better about things after that. But I'm still taking a wait and see approach. I play for story and companion interactions and it still seems there won't be much of that until next year, but they didn't mention specifics. I asked about a proper expansion such as RotHC or SoR and Keith said he couldn't comment on expansions yet.
