I'm thinking after I get a few more of my characters caught up I might try starting over on a diff server just so I can record all their stories from the beginning. Something I didn't have the opportunity to do when I started playing originally.
I love seeing the lightsabers, thanks for sharing!

I did the same thing after this last server merge, since all 3 of the servers that I played on were merged into the 'east' coast server, that left the 'west' coast one as a blank slate. It really is fun starting over from scratch in some ways, getting all of the achievements and datacrons and such again. It's made me replay several of the class stories I didn't like as well, and discover that I really don't think any of them are bad.

Belsavis Republic planet story is all kind of "What the hell" early on. I haven't played it since launch and I totally forgot about the "war games" and the "people born in prison as prisoners" thing.
It makes the Imp Belsavis side planet story feels as the "good ones" in comparison...although, history might remember it as the "dumb ones" considering what it leads to, lol.

I haven't "finished" my Jedi Consular story yet (I'm on Voss), but I needed some pew-pew instead of bzzzzzz and more explosions so I restarted a Bounty Hunter. Being a sarcastic badass gadgeteer of destructions that goes around with her little adoptive sister is awesome.
That class also has the best way to get the ship, but I realized last night that there is a serious lack of beds in there. Does half the crew sleep on the floor or are the "medbay" bed used (I doubt Skadge fit in a bunk)?

Sometimes it's better not to think too hard about these things.

If you think that's bad the ships are totally out wack scale wise for example the Sith Fury's official dimensions are: Length 100 meters (328 ft) Width 88 meters (288 ft) Height/depth 33 meters (108 ft) Where as the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy the Millennium Falcon is: Length 34.37 (112 ft) meters Width 25.61 meters (84 ft) Height/depth 8.27 meters (27 ft) I think the TOR game designers went with with the 'Rule of Cool' for the player ships which is why they are grossly oversized and many of their internal layouts don't make all that much sense.

Kinda like the lack of bathroom signs in the first Normandy (how do Joker even go to toilet with all the actual stairs...). But I think they're just hidden in the walls like those compact ikea apartment.

But I think they're just hidden in the walls like those compact ikea apartment. So, when enemy fire hits or fractures the hull/walls it's literally a crap situation? This brings a whole new level of meaning to Joker saying "shit, shit, shit" every time Normandy is in danger.

They went with the " Rule of Camera not bouncing off walls", everything in SWTOR is larger than it should be because of the 3rd person camera. Also, a Millennium Falcon sized ship would get crazy packed for the Consular, they travel around with ~20 persons abord post chapter 1.

That class also has the best way to get the ship, but I realized last night that there is a serious lack of beds in there. Does half the crew sleep on the floor or are the "medbay" bed used (I doubt Skadge fit in a bunk)? Eh, I disagree. They're the only ones who steal their ship (which would be more awesome if there were repercussions down the line), but they steal such an ugly piece of shit it kind of cancels out. I like the Smuggler just having their ship, losing it and having to chase the scum who took it all over the galaxy for revenge. It's a lot sweeter when you get it (because you got it back), and it gives you the player (as well as teh character) plenty of motivation to see the Chapter 1 villain dead. I love that every time I've done the Skavak fight, I finished him off with a dirty kick. So poetic, so... right.Plus the ship comes with Risha, which automatically makes it win everything forever. As to the bedding situation, I'm pretty sure every ship has bunks. BH Ship- they're across from the medbay Agent Ship- aft port corner (across from the cargo hold) Sith Ship- Across from the conference room (where Khem Val/Pierce is) Jedi Ship- actually I think this may be the only ship where they're not directly visible. But there are doors that may conceivably lead to a crew quarters area. Smuggler Ship- across from engine room (where Akaavi is) Trooper Ship- inbetween conference room and armory

[skip] I said best way to get the ship, not that it was the best looking ship. Smuggler always had a ship, so they don't count. And I disagreed. The process of stealing a ship could've been interesting if consequences were revisited down the road (it's been a while but I don't think they were). And since they were the only class with a choice of ships (everyone else had theirs assigned, or already had one), the choice they did go with was abysmal. And I also disagree the Smuggler doesn't count. Arguably the ship is most important for the Smuggler than any other class, since it's a fundamental part of their identity, whereas for everyone else, it's just a mode of transportation. Thus having it already and having it stolen makes it and its retrieval a far more significant component than for any other class, tying it together with the entire first chapter and the first antagonist for the character. By contrast the BH story had no compelling reason to have the ship stolen. "Mando tradition" is nonsensical here, Mandalorians aren't a thieves guild, they're warriors. Furthermore, while the Great Hunt is hosted by Mandalorians, the prize is not Mandalorian membership, and it is possible to play the BH with zero interest in becoming Mandalorian. So who cares what "Mando tradition" dictates? It would've been more fitting if the previous ship owner was a target, and upon completing the bounty, they decided to just take his ship as the client didn't care for it one way or the other.

There is some of that sure but even so the interiors are bigger than what the exteriors would suggest. They're like the TARDIS, it's bigger on the inside I've only played the JC story once and I can't say I took that much notice as after chapter one it kind of went down hill. I found it a bore to play.

Chapter 1 bores me to tears, but once you actually start being a diplomat and assembling forces (well, as much as an MMO will let you), it becomes really interesting.

Don't ask me what that is because I couldn't tell you.

WHOMST SAYS CONSULAR STORY IS BORING IS A HERETIC! I picked my 3 menz, but it was hard picking that 3rd one. Vector and Andronikos were no brainers. The rest were all pretty good, but I finally went with Theron cuz he is too damned sweet.

Consular story is great from start to finish! (Ok, ok, objectively - when you count complexity, number of side quests, plot twists, emotions and so on, it's not "number one", but you have to agree, villain is good there, and on the "coherence and logic of development" side it's one of the best) Hard to choose only 3 options. With all honesty, every romance is great in it's own way. I even like Doc and can tell that Iresso's romance is very sweet and fits JC (too bad for LT there is Zenith there, who steals all the attention).

I don't think I've ever seen so many people who liked Jedi Consular's story in one place!
Tbh, I can barely remember it. Only the first chapter (which was really boring IMO), terrible VO (IMO), awful first companion (IMO) and the most boring jedi master (also, IMO).
