I like the... themes the Jedi Consular has going for it. A diplomat, a Healer, while relatively maintaining composure -- at least if one plays light side; I have never ran as a dark side Consular.
As far as its story plays out... I like the latter half of the story. And Nadia Grell is one of my favorite characters.
My Smuggler is still my favorite, though.
I need to Google the voice actor to the female Jedi Consular too.

Me and a friend were just talking about the female Consular VA last night and how much we like her. Consular is by far my favorite Republic side story. I've not played a dark side Consular but I do have a neutral Consular so she's made some DS choices. I like her a lot. She's a good person who wants the best for people and the Republic but will sometimes do whatever necessary to get the outcome she thinks best.

I just had a certain confrontation with a female Lord on my Sith Inquisitor run. So saw that coming. We all did. And we all acted surprised. Until the next time a Sith tries to blindside us. Gotta love the Sith Empire. One of my favourite SI moments is in Chapter 1 after you deal with a certain Sith. The investigators ask who did it and promptly ignore your confessions since you are obviously too weak and must be trying to steal credit for the kill. |

KOTET Chapter 1: Republic characters are assumed to help Senya; Imperial characters are assumed to kill her. Thus, in Chapter 6, it's assumed that Republic characters recruit light-side Arcann, while Imperial characters are assumed to kill dark-side Arcann.
KOTET Chapter 3: Republic characters are assumed to forgive Koth; Imperial characters are assumed to kill him.
KOTET Chapter 5: Republic characters and Imperial Agents are assumed to spare SCORPIO; the remaining Imperial classes are assumed to kill her.
KOTET Chapter 8: Republic characters and Sith Warriors are assumed to save Vette; the remaining Imperial classes are assumed to save Torian instead.

tried it yesterday (with a 60 Token-Char - had her for a long while now, leveled her outside of KOTFE to 70, raised companion influence, threw snowballs at droids to get her to CR 300 even  etc.) and this happened: - the Chap. 1 still sits in my quest log (couldn't abandon it before I started Iokath- maybe not possible for insta-chars?)
- still had my old companions
- only on Iokath I had access to Theron as a comp
- Odessen (the War room etc.) is still locked
- no Alliance alerts
finished Iokath nonetheless and the Umbara-FP appeared in my quest-log - it took me to Odessen, but the way to the war room is barred (red)
So I guess storywise I can go on and do the Traitor-story-FPs... but I have no Idea what happens when 5.10 hits, maybe then Charles' post applies... I wonder what happens if I go that route with a "normal" char (finished class story, maybe even Illum, Makeb, Revan but not started KOTxx) that doesn't have a Chapter in the QL |

I finished my Sith Inquisitor story. Loved it. Now working on illum then the expansions. Never done them before. I know some like them and some don't.
Makeb is nice (I like the view and the architecture of the Mesas) ... but if you go hunting for the Datacrons, oh boy   that was horrible
the Revan expansion is awesome (except I don't like the prelude = 5 flashpoints before you get to the actual expac)
and well KOTfe & et are OK'ish imho - run them once or twice = nice - but the run-throughs after that are just tedious (I am looking forward to the skip-option that comes with 5.10 in December - though I would have preferred to be able to skip individual chapters instead of the whole expac...)

The class stories and the sheer amount of companion content in vanilla is the most ambitious the game has ever been. I highly doubt they're going to top that, not with how they railroaded everyone into one story, or two upcoming, and sidelined almost all the LI's in favour of new characters they'll brick by the time the next expansion comes. Very much agree. I truly hate what they've done to our vanilla comps (and from what I'm hearing, soon to be Lana & Theron also). Don't get me started on the one-story-fits-all thing. It makes replay almost painful.
I've stayed subbed since launch mainly because I like replaying the class stories so much.  |

I've stayed subbed since launch mainly because I like replaying the class stories so much. I loved the Kotfe/kotet/Iokath whatever line. I also enjoyed Makeb and SoR BUT (big But) I didn't take all 30+ of my characters through, only my favourite one. No story reasons for the tohers, especially how horrible the meaningful returns of prior companions was, and the only companion that kept me playing the story further (Theron) can now also be killed or exiled (same result of bricked character). I see nothing to tempt me to bother with the story.
I also sadly keep giving them money via sub because I enjoy at least that character of mine and her 'clones' lmao.

well, there are 2 - one is OK'ish to get (a little bit of jumping but that's it)
the other one though... "a bit of platforming" is the understatement of the year - it takes roughly 5-10 minutes to get even remotely close to it and then the real fun part starts (there are a bunch of helpful videos that at least show you the way - you still have to walk/jump it yourself ^^)

I completely gave up on the datacron thing. I can't even get to the 'simple' jumping ones. I am just terrible at jumping in this game. Half the time when I hit the space bar nothing happens anyways. |
