That would be me then. Do not presume I will go down without a fight! I've got your back. I enjoyed the Consular story which was a nice surprise. I just started playing SWTOR in the last year and the one thing I heard repeatedly before starting was how boring the Consular story was. So I guess I should pipe in with "me three!". Consular's easily the best Pub story for me (and better than most of the Imp stories, too). I think what sets it apart, especially from its peer the Knight, is that it remembers to "show, don't tell". In the Consular story, you really have to earn your victories. But the flip side is that you really get to feel like you did, in fact, earn them.

Underwhelming? What the actual heckie were you expecting officerdonnz ?  It's going to have story, 2 planets, a new event for rotation, a flashpoint, an op, level to 75 and a new playable race, the Nautolans. I think the tweets give more info imo: SWtOR Twitter Read the whole thread for the most info.

Maybe I'm just becoming too jaded. When I read through it this was my honest reaction: "We've been so starved of contend that's all they can do?" I mean, it really depends on how they handle it, I think. We don't really know how much story is in the new story. That said, given what a clustereff the last Operation was, I wouldn't be surprised if this one is where most of the expansion's effort is going into. Honestly, my bigger beef is the level cap increase. That's been mostly detrimental every time they've done it before so far, and I don't expect they'll handle it any better this time. |

I rarely do flashpoints and I never do ops or pvp, so I never care about those updates. I hope the story will be good but my biggest hope is that the new planets will be explorable like the base planets were. I never thought I would miss planet stories, but I do. If they can't keep adding to our class stories, I would love to see some planet stuff added. I wonder what the new area on Corellia will be like? They said something else about customizing your gear to change fighting styles and fixing stats on gear or something, but again, I mostly care about story stuff Keep your chin up guys, I think good stuff is on the way  I still play, even if just for a short time, almost every day. I still have fun. It's a mostly good game. Come play with me! |
