I started out with Mass Effect, then moved on to Dragon Age. So both of those, although I'd say I've been more into DA these past few years.
As for Anthem...I'd be interested if I had the option to play it. Sadly my current living situation doesn't include a stable enough Internet connection, lol. I probably will pick it up in the future though!

Count me as another vote for DA and ME.
This does not bode well for Anthem sales. If only a third of the hardcore fans here have any interest in Anthem, they'd better hope to get a huge amount of casual fans interested in Anthem if they want to have a prayer.

I voted all three, but that doesn't mean I'm interested in all three equally. The IP I'm most interested in is Mass Effect (and I'm keenly interested in seeing them continue with and finish the Andromeda story line). I'm currently playing Dragon Age, but it's honestly not grabbing me the same way as Mass Effect did. A lot of that has to do with the fantasy elements (elves and such) and sword-based combat. It's just not my favorite subject genre regarddless of whether it's in books or in games. I'm very interested in Anthem, but unless something changes with my internet, I simply will not be able to play it. If they put out a single-player, offline experience associated with Anthem, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. If my internet situation improves such that I can play online games, it would be the first one on my list to try.

Anthem was actually really enjoyable, it was just the infinite loading screens and server issues that were annoying. Once I got in, it was fantastic. Visuals were pretty breathtaking and Storm was so much fun.

Unequivocal love for Mass Effect series, sometimes-love affair for Dragon Age series (depending on my mood at any given time). No love at all for Anthem. Not that I think it'll be bad, but my game time is my get-AWAY-from-other-people time, so... Yeah. This is the part of the "modern gaming trend" that I simply don't understand. I share your opinion, and only have played ME3MP as a multiplayer experience and have enjoyed zero other MP experiences. I relish my gaming time as a place to have fantasy in a different place and time, and playing with rando's is not that at all. This fascination with always online MP-everything will pass; EA are nailing their own coffin consistently now. |

It's funny how all these things that are supposed to kill EA never actually do.
As for the topic, it's kind of funny. I'm not interested in Anthem, but I don't know why I'm not. I play shooters fairly often, although it's not my favorite genre.
