When I try to play freeplay, the game shuts down completely and I have to restart it.
I can only do stronghold runs and I suck at them because when I shoot with my gun longer than about 2 seconds, my screen spasms out and flips around everywhere until I stop shooting and then I'm always looking up straight at the sky. It's hella annoying and renders me useless in fights.
Anyone else experiencing these problems?

I only had one major issue today; leaving a cave where we'd killed a large number of people and picked up some sweet loot I crashed to the title screen and lost it all. That ended a one-hour free-play session with three world events, too, so I was pretty cranky about it. Otherwise, I had a sound bug that required me to restart the demo and a little bit of the magical disappearing enemy problem but things were essentially smooth. Well, outside of the fact that I still get lost underwater every freaking time I run the stronghold. Hey, Beerfish, there's a restaurant opening in Fargo with your name on it! have you tried playing another mission or joining one and quitting? I've never permanently lost loot, it always shows up at the end of the next mission.

After spending some time with it in freeplay I figured... Colossus ain't really bad. I've soloed world events on hard and dealt with legendary enemies after about an hour or two of getting the hang of things. For me, it's mostly an issue of how differently Colossus plays compared to other classes. The shield should be out almost as often as Interceptor's blades and dps'in enemies is mostly a matter of timing (when to let the shield down to apply damage with abilities that require it) and mobility with shield up. I can't say I dislike literally mowing down enemies but also that there's some skill required behind all those metal muscles to make them effective.

Where did the feedback post go? I'm getting a seriously game breaking bug 2 out of 3 strongholds. When playing with another storm, when he/she activates his/her ultimate, my screen goes in to the ultimate screen like it was me activating it. This stays on my screen untill I activate my ultimate, meaning I have no hud whatsoever. It's really annoying, if you've got full super you can just activate and it usually fixes it, if you had just used yours and had almost no super bar, the next 5 minutes are terrible.

Had a pretty cool bug in which the server/game freaked out. Went through one of those caves that loads you into a different area. When I transitioned I found myself hovering a mile up with endless highly exaggerated plateaus in all directions. Flying in any direction and I'd smashed into invisible walls after a bit. It was like some weird alternate dimension. Some sort of issue but it got me thinking they could have some serious creative fun if the Anthem of Creation occasionally formed tears in space-time. I wanna tackle a T-rex!

Finally fought those big rock throwing blue trolls or or ogres Elox? or something?
Had a crash to desktop but other than that some good play yesterday and today.
A couple of suggestions:
- In free play if you go down they should not disable the map (the message says map not functional or something when you go down). I would be willing to wait a bit for a rescue if i could look at the map and see another player heading in my direction. With no map you have no clue and thus it just makes sense to hit respawn.
- Not sure other players show up on your hud directional map or not but they should in free play. I want to link up with another player and i end up stopping opening the main map, looking and then heading for them, repeat. I'd like to see their a small blue dot on the hud directional finder.

Crazy screen shakes on me too, what is helping me a lot (but not always, depends on fire rate of a gun) is shooting in like half a second bursts - which means that my damage is lower than it could be but at least I can shoot, eh... :-D
Also, I had that "shared HUD" bug while another Storm popped their ultimate but I actually kinda liked playing on the hunch, basically just anticipating my abilities and ultimate...
And got kicked from Stronghold with message "error retrieving Anthem live service data "
From what I read around a web the good news is, though, that demo is an older game build and BW either already fixed many issues or is fixing them in a new build of the game - so, as I wrote in another mesage of mine, I'm still optimisitc. :-)

Fargo winters? Meh … Go to Grand Forks or Minot … That'll get ya going in the mornings. There is never any reason to go to Minot, unless you're stationed there. I haven't had any bugs today, but I discovered that the idle camera rotation lets you get a good look at your javelin!

I wanna tackle a T-rex! I had a similar issue twice... falling thru the world once, and hovering in the stratosphere once... high up like that, the area is an amazing view! Problem was very similar to the "Vanguard Bug" in ME3... Both times I was on an Interceptor jav, which is close to Vanguard gameplay. There were a number of quickplay issues: Worst was arriving at a locked door that is not openable, because the others already passed it. Once at the Tyrant stronghold, arriving at the door of the Boss and finding it locked... I could see the Tyrant's health bar was almost gone, and the 3 inside finished it quickly. Surprisingly I got some loot and xp when the mission returned to Tarsis. Another time, there was a missing relic, stuck at 5/6 relics. Apparently a player had left or disconnected with the relic, and had been replaced by one of our group. A lot of annoying "server has ended" errors returning one to the start menu with no loot/exp while in groups. I found that playing on PC works better with controller than re-mapping keys, while the UI works better with KBM on PC. The diagonal menus are a bad idea; they "stick" when trying to traverse them with a controller, and they use up a lot of the screen.

In the stronghold mission, the second one collecting 12 "glowy things" … the relic didn't record one of the orbs being returned, so we were stuck on 7/12. None of us left, all of us returned to the relic multiple times … but nothing. Tried leaving the playable area, teleported back in, but that didn't help. Eventually, we left the mission.
Side note … even though we were doing a stronghold mission and not free play, I could not exit the mission … had to hit esc, options, exit, return to main menu … on the bright side, when I got back into game, it asked if I wanted to return to a mission in progress.
So trolls can create havoc, but there is also an issue of the relic not properly recording orbs returned to it. Scrolling up the posts here, someone suggested spawning a new orb in instances of "trolls" either leaving the game or refusing to go to the relic to deliver the orb. Given that the relic can miscount/fail to count orbs returned, perhaps this should be considered if a bug cannot be found to account for the failure to count. Count on it.

XBoxOne playthrough was going good, looked nice and no graphic lags like on my PCs, until the game hard crashed on me in the middle of Freeplay. Oh well...

I've had two crashes to desktop once I exited out of freeplay and tried to enter it closer to the start of event - it stopped after I restarted my computer so it may have just been some flub on my part. Killed Elite Lesser Ash Titan and Ancient Ash Titan on hard already

Went back with my Colossus (gotta L2P that puppy), got one of the lesser titans, survived it (equipped the flame thrower on this run), did another world event, then, before I could return to Taris, got my second CTD of the weekend.
Also made some adjustments to flying and swimming … it made things better, so progress being made.
Will write down all the settings adjustments before the demo closes out … pretty happy with my key bindings and overall setup, only flying and swimming need a few tweaks … but those will change for the game anyway, after they continue to tweak on their end.

In The Division they had a cool feature that when you went down you got an option that let you "spectate" until you were revived or respawned. It meant you could keep watching what was happening with the group.

Hey, maybe Bioware will manage to collaborate with some other studios like CDPR did with Witcher 3 for Monster Hunter: World or Soulcalibur 6 cameo? Soooo... what if we get to fight a mechanical T-Rex from Horizon: Zero Dawn? I know, I know, fat chance ... but they most certainly wouldn't have a problem drawing from licenses owned by EA and especially their own, so I'd say DRAGONS are more than likely to happen at one point or another. And considering that EA is still teamed with Disney for Star Wars content...

Overall for me it went pretty well, except for the last hour, got kicked out a couple of times, only once prior to that.
The more I played the better was my flying ability (PC).
It was fun.
Now, will I buy it...

And so the open demo has concluded. Overall - not bad, stability-wise, on this side of the screen. Major bugs/annoyances for me was being kicked to main screen after attempting to enter freeplay probably more than 50% of time, sometimes the Javelin not updating after exiting the forge and being unable to salvage some jav parts for some unknown reason, sudden server shutdowns (3 or 4 for me for the whole weekend) and 'server will shutdown' message showing up every few minutes . Other than that and some one-off events (Storm loading with no head and then moonwalking when I moved forward Fixed quickly and never came back later) it wasn't a hair-pulling experience. The only issue in any Stronghold run I've had was audio cutting off. In the end, the MOST frustrating part was that all that experience and loot didn't amount to anything permanent and I am now so curious about things I didn't yet see! It wasn't a time wasted though, given that I've learned the game's basics and, of course, how to pilot Javelins - even with unoptimized mouse (my proper gaming mouse is in warranty repair) and wonky kb+m controls in the demo the traversal and combat in Anthem is simply a joy, and if it's indeed going to be better at 15th... well, I know how I'd be spending time two weeks from now.
