Your Last Solo in Whatever

AAARRRGGGHHH! UUG-Solo wave 10, of course.

Just got stabbed by a fucking LZ-camping phantom with 5 sec to extraction. Furry/Glacier/Reapers/Plat. Took me 45 min and about as many failures to get there. Imma cry.

Completed my fourth Silver. Glacier/Collectors as Valkyrie.



Weapons were Acolyte for crab shields and Scimitar for everything else. Objectives were hack, pizza, escort. Two killstreaks on wave 9; had plenty of rockets left so decided to nuke the wave.

The objective waves are the only things I'm finding particularly difficult about these now. That said, I go very cautiously, as you can tell from the time!

Volus Sentinel
Hazard Giant / Cerberus / Gold
Completed it in 66min! Very happy! Though took a long time.

This was my first Volus solo on Gold.
Used the Black Widow and Acolyte.
Got Targets on both Wave 6 and 10. At one point timer was down to 3 seconds

I still can't handle dragoons though. They make me panic and run away. They cost me 5 medigel! 😆

A few months ago I tried a solo with VolSent and got killed in the extraction zone with 2 seconds left...😭

Luckily, my Ampler of asari bought a contract for a "rat suit" on Illium - that's what she must have thought then. You could ask - "what's so amazing about it?". When her dryer broke down, he not only fixed it, but added a tickiling effect when shooting. Though, I suppose it still needs some calibrations - reapers were laughing at me, and I wanted to die - of shame Once again, biotic <cough> amplifiers saved the day and Thessia became reaper free, peaceful place. I lacked 10 ws and I blame the "space omnibutton", or was it the cable from the dryer that kept me in one spot?

If anyone knows where can I make a complaint about the dryer, please PM me. I think I got to call asari councillor to make her submit a diplomatic note to quarian flotilla. Hmm.. Why would asari need a dryer at first place? <sigh> Never trust Salarian salesman!

Toaster civil war! Glacier/Geth as GE with GPR.


Objectives were pizza, escort, targets. Two killstreaks were a double Prime spawn nuke on wave 9 and a post-objective cleanup rocket at the end of wave 10.

To recap, my five successful Silver solos were:

1. White/Reapers as QFI with Raptor/Tempest
2. Glacier/Reapers as Krolord with Executioner
3. Glacier/Cerberus as AV with Disciple
4. Glacier/Collectors as Valkyrie with Scimitar/Acolyte
5. Glacier/Geth as GE with GPR

Repeat

This time I did even worse (but I did ):


Objectives : Central Hack (died the first time), Pizzas and Devices - I don't know why it's always devices on w10...   

I highly recommend a great couple counselor - Mgamerz . He helped me some time ago. There's one "BUT" though - he's agoraphobic himself and doesn't leave his fancy pc-master-race estates to country side to seeing peasants

Firebase White Cerberus Gold solo with Melee Turian Havoc. Objects: Target, Disable Devices, Hack. Finished in 45 minutes abusing the Havoc Soldier's dual strike ability.

Weapons Graal Spike VII with Shotgun Omni Blade III with Extended Barrel V for mooks, Geth spitfire with Magazine and Extended Barrel for bosses. Warp rounds 3, Strengt enhancer III, Power Amp 3 (no cyclonic mods was available )

Firebase White Reaper Gold. TGI with Harrier (eb, and pierce) with Inc III. Finished in 48 minutes. Meh, that was boring running in circles kiting enemies and leaving Banshees last. Objects: Target, Target ( ), Escort.

I decided to try solo bronze just to find out how long I would survive. All my characters are now lvl 20 and my common and uncommon guns are max lvl. Took U/U, got geth, can't remember the map. To my surprise I survived to wave ten! I'm so proud of myself!
Edit. Oh and it was device hacking on wave ten that got me. Also I was playing N7 destroyer.

Yeah devices are the worst objective you can get in a solo, wave 10 targets also suck big time. The issue with devices as you say is that you are left completely vulnerable for 10 seconds, especially ifs you have Banshees to deal with as they can close in on you so fast with cheesy wall jumps. And sometimes mooks decide to camp the area around the devices in groups, you kill them and then they just re-spawn again close by, there is a high degree of luck connected to it, not only experience and solo skills.

P.S. That was the 46th solo mastery on PC (92 overall). I hope to get to 100 before ME:A.
