Personal Forum Background Image

So, aside from totally breaking the forum earlier when I imported the plugin over from the test site... (sorry!!) I've got a new option here in the works (thanks to someone who suggested it, I apologize for not remembering who). It's currently undergoing testing in the <<EXPERIMENTAL>> theme for any souls brave enough to try it out.

There are some caveats:

1) It will always do an annoying slow load thing, as the background overrides the existing forum background through the magic of ProBoards plugin javascript injection.

2) The background size/shape is part of the theme, so it will not stretch smaller images to fit, therefore you need to pick something that is at least as big as your screen size. The forum default is 1920x1080.

3) There is no 3.

4) reserved for later

So here's the sell. You can have whatever image you want as the Forum Background.

Like maybe your cat...


Or Horizon Zero Dawn...


Or some veg...


Whatever your choice (other than porn, you're still stuck abiding by the ProBoards rules) you just have to use the <<Experimental>> theme, and have an image you want (approximately 1920x1080).

So grab a URL and edit your profile:
1) Profile
2) Edit Profile
3) Personal
4) Scroll down and look for PersonalBackground
5) Paste URL into the box, read the warning

6) Scroll down and hit Save Personal Settings


Please report back any problems you might run into. I tested with Chrome, Firefox, IE11, Edge and Safari, but there seems to be some problems with running FireFox on Linux that might give it fits.
