Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor

Well... it's 10:40 am ET at the time of this post, I finally finished my first playthrough of Jedi Survivor....and I have to say it was a very satisfying experience. Continued the beautiful story first began in Jedi Fallen Order and expanded on it. The gameplay and everything was vastly improved in every way. In every way this was an impressive sequel and improvement over the first installment as amazing as that was in its own right. I will definitely be replaying it fully, very soon, using my new controller to see if the overall experience from start to finish is even better and more fulfilling. All of my frustrations and lack of enjoyment of Survivor had come from the KB/M setup and its stupid keybindings, but once I switched to a Controller the experience vastly improved.

I only wish they would relase the OST as they did with Fallen Order. I have the Art of Jedi Survivor on pre-order so once I get that I will take great interest in exploring it.  And now I am hyped to conclude the story when the final installment comes out in probably 5 years from now.

It was available when the game was released. I bought it back then and listen to it at work on the regular.

(Playing Jedi Survivor for only the 2nd time on CHristmas Eve 2023-24) You know...Coruscant is a beautiful city- or was at least before the fall of the Old Republic. It's too bad the Empire got its hands on it, because as I wander through all the districts...I spend a lot of time just (as Cal says) "just taking in the sights".

(The Devs at Respawn sure did a beautiful job in designing this game, as they did with Fallen Order....But this one is more so). The scope and scale, the art, the imagination, the colours...Everything.

In the third installment, I hope we get to come back to Coruscant to visit the Imperial Palace Jedi Temple, because seeing it in smoking ruins in the opening cutscene with the Imperial Flag drapped from its battlements was heart breaking. And that is very much sympbolic of what the Third Reich would do when they occupied any town or city. Eindhoven comes to mind most readily, or Paris.

I'm on a mission to find The CHamber of CLarity (and all the other Chambers) this playthrough. I only did the mandatory one where you find Zee and didn't bother with the others...But now I want to know what they are like and I want to know what Perks can be found. Plus, it's added time spent with BD...and Merrin.

Good morning, Lyn. Yes, it was the Purity perk. I didnt know that would happen but it was that abd I figured out how to disable it so now my game is back to being amazing

So having ordered an SN Pixel with the V4 soundboard, I've seen a saber called "Boone Kestis" that is apparently modeled after concept art from Fallen Order, and the Sellers have said "this is based on official concept art" and they show pictures that look legit....Except, I OWN the Art of Jedi Fallen Order, and there's nothing in that book that is exactly like the pictures they show or the lightsaber they claim to be based off of. But the art they show has the name of some guy Gustav (something)....and I have noticed 1 or 2 pictures signed in from him in the Officially Licesnse Art of Fallen Order....But again, nothing exactly the same. Even in the section of the book that is clearly labeled "scrapped concepts that didn't make the cut".

So...I'm wondering, what gives? Where did this cool looking design come from? IF it is in the Art of Jedi Fallen Order, I can't find it....Can anyone else shed some light on this?

That is what I have heard.  But my question is then.... why if it is 'official concept art' is it not in the book?



Yes, now that I have seen that picture here and having recently finished Survivor....I did notice that that hilt is Cere's saber in Survivor.  I wonder if they will put it as concept art in the Art of Jedi Survivor instead...?   That would make for an interesting detail.  Here is a piece of concept art that we originally wanted for Fallen Order but decided to go another way, yet we still liked the concept so we included it in the next game, Jedi Survivor, and as such have now included it in The Art of Jedi Survivor.

Yes, I suppose this is true.  That's a very good point.   that being said, I wonder what art will be featured in The Art of Jedi Survivor.  I'm excited to receive my copy and I'll be studying it closely when I get it.

PLaying Jedi Survivor again....started yesterday. Working my way through Level 2046 of Coruscant, nearly finished. But it remains one of my favorite levels in the game. Hey, Lyn....having played Survivor quite a few times, have you ever gone back and played Fallen Order to do sort of a comparison or maybe just to remember what Fallen Order was like?

I have been thinking of doing that, even though I've played Fallen Order several dozen times. I don't want to not play it, to forget about it because the newer, better sequel is out. But going back to an older game that has some flaws...do you ever struggle because you're so used to the newer improvements in the sequel?

That' swh yI'm playing Zero Dawn atm so I'm in the zone fo rForbidden West. Tha tan drefershin gmy mind on the story. Probabl ywill end up playing both back to back later in the year a couple of times aswell onc eit's out

Sorry your copy was damaged. Mine should be arriving today. I've seen some of the pages others of have posted on the interwebs and it all looks incredible.
