Preloaded it this morning. Glad to see Origin's servers have improved since the last time I downloaded something...   Yea hI've preloaded it as well preloaded it yesterday. Not suer when I'll get around to playing it yet as I wantto finish my Mass Effect run first. But I'm lookin gforward to it when I'm finished. Almost through ME3 in fact I'm hoping to at least make it up t othe Citadel DLC bit today as I like to save playing that until just befoer the final mission but I've still got Andromeda to do yet.

Almos tfinished ME3 as I've onl ygot the mission with Miranda and the Citadel DLC to go and then I'm on the finale. Still got Andromeda though. But yeah looking forward to eventually playing this.

Yeah it definitely looks impressive my only concern is diffiiculty given I only have one hand on the conrtols and the fact it's largely melee combatgiven we use a lightsaber but given I could handle Titanfall 2 OK on it's easiest settings I'm hopeful I can cope with this. EA games in general have never been that difficult to get to grips withthough

Respawn usually nails these things every time, but still, I think it should be praised and not taken for granted.
I feel your shooter pain. Every time I see a stormtrooper aiming at me, I want to get his gun and then do a rampage on the wild life from a safe distance! But I'd take the wild life so far instead of
those fraking Nightbrothers. Always ambushing for the free hit in the back, always in packs, always with melee/ranged combos. Frankly, you should have Block up all the time in Dathomir's corridors or just use evade to move everywhere.
Don't know if there is a sabre throw in the game, but if there is, I already have a few skill points saved up and lots of Force and Force Regen

Sounds and feels good. I stubbornly stick with the controller in order to learn how to use it. I miss my KB/M combo in the moments when I need to turn quickly because the enemy ended up somewhere behind me (that Force attack jump with extra distance upgrades can make you go places, man. Often in a downward spiral off a cliff. I "fondly" recall the time when I barely kept my balance at an edge and an animal, just by moving close by, not even an attack, gave me a little nudge in the wrong direction...). I guess I have to start locking on targets....sigh.
The holomap is great, use it. It almost always shows you the path you have to go to and keeps tab on things you can or can't unlock yet.

I'm only a few hours in, but the music is aces.
It is an absolute joy to listen to.
It reminds me when I was just a boy, and my Dad says:
"Hey son, you like spaceships?"
"Yeah!"
"I think you're gonna like this."
Then we watched **A New Hope**, my first experience in Star Wars.
If nothing else, I'm grateful for that.
I love this game already.

I got good news, I did see saber throw in the game movie I saw, but I can't say if it's not tied to plot progression somehow.
But I did watch even more of it today and I'm very impressed by the gameplay on the videos.

Lovin it so far; though I miss not having an "Opening Crawl" in the traditional style of STAR WARS, and as somoene posted above, there are instances where I can see that the gameplay was designed almost exclusively with a Controller in mind, neglecting those on PC who would prefer or who have always played with a KB/M set-up.
But in all other respects, I am enjoying the game, the gameplay, the story, the graphics, the music (wish we had a downloadable/digital OST)....Basically everything about the game, immensely

Trust me, you fall, miss jumps, fail parrying, missclick, go into the wrong direction and generally do stupid stuff with a controller as well. Even after nearly 15 hours I am still screwing up jumps and get hit for stupid reasons. I don't think the M/KB experience loses much as I tried both and performed about the same. Some sections look like controller friendly, but they are still tough.

Cheers, Saandrig. I'm feeling that way already, only about 2 or 3 hours into the game; it's just a matter of getting accustomed to the now re-mapped KB bindings. On another note though, I just had a lightbulb moment thought I'd try out Fallen Order using my G 935s that I bought for ANTHEM.....and WOW, what a difference the 7.1 surround sound makes! Very cool! It sounded great on my Bose desktop speakers, but this is just so much more realistic and immersing.

Ok this is a pretty good game. I really enjoyed Titanfall2 story that Respawn did. Seems Respawn enjoyed making Jedi Fallen Order from what I have seen so far. Got the darkness set with barely seeing left symbol and it really sets up the feel of the game. Oh and it's not the friggn Frostbite engine. Long live Unreal Engine where I can play at max resolution with all the goodies maxed out and works perfectly. Maybe Respawn can poke papa EA and let them go to the storage room where things are left for dead and mess with 1313.
