There is a dlc coming for ATOM and they might do ATOM 2 some time later on, so the epilogue couldn't cover everything As for the difficulty level - I replayed it recently on normal (after I've one of your first posts describing your struggles ) and it went surprisingly easy. I finished the game at level 14 or 15, last to fight requires some buffing, clever positioning and a couple of reloads, but it was the biggest challenge I had in a long while. You certainly can become overpowered if you know what you're doing, which probably won't be the case for anyone who plays the game for the first time, unless you read some character building guides beforehand. I'm definitely interested in an Atom 2! DLC... reminds me that the snowman Christmas map was unbeatable for me at the level I was at. And worse, there is no exit unless you kill the snowmen! I had to load an older save. That pissed me off a bit... I'm just glad I could avoid the final confrontation. I had 140 HP after buffing my character with condensed milk but that still wasn't enough to survive 4 enemies shooting at me with automatic weapons... I only managed to stun one or two with grenades. Or kill one with my own automatic weapons. I didn't have any buff syringes left. So milk and onions was all I had.

IIRC you made luck your dump stat and it's a perfectly viable solution, but in rare instances when you really need to one shot somebody in the first turn it can be very useful. With decent luck, decent weapon, aim at the eyes and watch the heads explode when you crit Another thing is to take abilities from Praetorian/Armor branch for everyone in your team, because they are just better than everything else (especially in the end). Yet another good idea would be to have Alexander using shield (with dedicated abilities, or not), unless you're using it yourself of course, and swap with him by the door. Super important tip - when you access inventory during your turn, you can reload all weapons and heal everyone without using more than 4-5 action points (the cost of opening inventory). So as long as you have enough meds and neither you or your companions get killed within one round, you're pretty much invincible. And if you'd like to start a new game and exploit the hell out of it, you can check the respec build - it allows you to easily grind skillpoints first and later respec to something else. Edit: Ah, the incoming DLC is more of an expansion. You will be able to import your character and continue story in a different area - Trudograd

aglomeracja Abilities, I went with the XP tree and then I aimed at drug addiction immunity. I had no idea it would take me until almost the end to get to no drug addiction... You see, as a Morphine Doctor I got addicted REALLY fast. I basically couldn't use the health pills at all. Two pill packs in a row and I was addicted. Sometimes the first one already got me in trouble. And there was nothing worse than carrying a lot of valuable stuff and then getting withdrawals and being unable to move ON THE MAP. I finished the game with about 70 of Kasparamid in stock, lol. I didn't pick ANY weapon abilities and my crit chance was 7% I believe. I was aiming for a speech/barter character with good charisma. Little did I know how long it takes to get speech high enough to be of any use... in the meantime, combat destroyed me. Kept missing my targets. Weapons jammed all the time. Got toppled over A LOT. My companions didn't fare any better. For a while it was really really frustrating.
Alex I specced for martial arts eventually. Crafted him the boom glove. Fidel I went with pistols and melee, and eventually gave him a sword. Hexagon was my rifle man. My character used pistols and a nice shotgun for a while. Later I respecced and got that one awesome red assault rifle that usually kills an enemy with a 6 AP burst.
Random encounters became easy for a while and I finally made good money selling bandit gear. But some of the quest fights were really tough. I went for peaceful solutions as much as I could.
Oh well. I made it through. Once I had some money the game started to somewhat flow and I had fun.
