Quasisolo

Pulled my geth trooper out of mothballs, decided to give him a spin for a game. Got joined by a vorsent who looked like he has no place in Gold, but hey, lets give it a shot. With Acolyte and Tempest and Incendiary ammo, we should be good, right?

The problem, things were too hot for vorcha. Had to pick him up all the time, wasted a few gels on it. Got a company of ACA somewhere on wave two, but they left pretty soon. After wave three, even vorcha left and left me to solo.

I'm not used to Acolyte and trooper isn't my Gold kit. In fact, I only today finished Acolyte mastery for the first time in some 2000 hours of playing and I have less than 50 waves with trooper. So I was pretty pleased with myself that I actually managed to get to wave eight with two gels before finally leaving my robotic bones on Rio.

I seriously hope that Centurion got promoted, because he did what a whole cadre of phantoms and goons before him couldn't do.

Infil galore

Kept running into infils tonight; lack of confidence night? and I was the only one marching around waving the warpaint. Lack of prudence too. Too eager to get points, firing off missiles at spawns before wave 6 and then not having the fire power to deal with the numbers after wave 6. Went down like flies since they were equipped with peashooters too.

Laggy night too.

It's been terrible since the BC, lots of wave 11 nuking, no equipment usage, noone reviving/gelling, preset lobbies, etc.

Holy shit, that was scary indeed. Sounded like the lord of the damned himself 

OT: LORINSEN!

Got that guy joining one of my matches yesterday. He did rather well with his Juggernaut and even participated in objectives. He did use the Reegar with Incendiary cheese tho.

Normally I try to avoid that 230 somewhat million N7-guy.

I've pugged very little in the last month or so, but I have taken particular notice of more bleed outs on objectives and no missile use until w11. Even more so than there used to be. Granted, it has been a very small sample size, but it still seems like a higher % of people are doing this. But, I digress, its the joys of pugland

Bitchy.

I pug into White / Gold / Cerberus with my standard human Adept (w/ Collector SMG), run around, spamming Singularity and Shockwave. No issues, the top three got a fair share of points (I was second), we kicked someone who only scored 20,000 points. I switch to my BatSlash Adept (w/ Harrier), this other dude joins, and we set off into Rio / Gold / Reaper. Well, this new guy was one of those people who exclaims and comments a lot as things happen ("damn, I got hit" "what where did he come from") (Was he twitch-streaming or something? Who knows). Annoying but not really a problem for me, but after the third revive of this guy (around Wave 5) the host jumps on his mic and says, "How about you quit bitching and start playing..." And that was how the REAL fight started...

I outscored both of them and left.

Ragequit

Giant Cerberus Plat. Very, very laggy, with a bit of rubberbarding. Me playing No Fitness AM3 Disciple Assdept (really liking the combo, ragdolling enemies with Stasis and send them flying with the Disciple or throw is hilarious, plus it can stagger banshees sometimes). Burning through op packs. Sadly, it was the best match I could find, the rest were worse . Comes wave 3 devices and the host leaves.

And that's where it becomes a pretty good match. I ended up hosting and didnt lose equipment, so it was great. Everything worked perfectly, the guys were competent (2 of them), got some grabs. Really fun, and not too slow, 23 minutes

Sounds like my pugs for the last year or so.

Purgatory.

Anyone else have that thing happen where everyone (enemies/squad) on the map stops moving and is invincible, but you can still move freely? That happened to me today, for the 100th time. We were on platinum. Wave 10. Then that happened. I wandered around a little bit, hoped maybe the match would restore itself -- which never happened. 

I was bored, so I used the teleport command to check out some places you're not supposed to get to. Ran across the bridge that connects to the cannon on Tuchanka, fell off said bridge, and was stuck in free fall for a solid 3 minutes until the game locked up completely. I really don't know how to describe this screen glitch, but I had a lot of fun with it while it lasted.

Modded

Landed in an U/U/G-Lobby with only me and the host present who readies up as soon as I join.
Turned out it was a mix of Zombie mod and Platinum - 3 Scions on Wave 2, Phantoms and a shitload of possessed abombs and Collector Captains on Wave 3...you get the picture.


I get it that that may be fun for some people, but if they don't tell you beforehand it's that heavily modded it's just a dickmove as far as I'm concerned.

It get's even better!

Next match was a GiP where I ended up being sync-killed by a Praetorian as I zoned in, couldn't even move an inch. The rest of the team had apparently already bled out at that time - so I silently joined their corpses.

Apparently I shouldn't play Me3MP in the morning...
