Those matches absolutely suck. I was in one last night and could barely get the chance to experiment with my dark sphere build. The cooldown was fairly fast at around 5 seconds for a normally 15 second cooldown but could barely tell how much damage I was doing before some tryhard with the reegar carbine was melting all the banshees I was fighting alone on the other side of the map.

I think I was doing around 1/2 of a brute’s hp and 3-4 banshee armor bars per dark sphere detonation.

You're right and this game does have a timer (it's like 2 minutes or about there). When I have to go afk for longer than it takes to make a drink I have to make sure one of my thumbsticks keeps my character moving/rotating so I don't get kicked.

i have been pugging for a few days, and it s fun, more fun when i host as lag as been higher than me .
Smtg bothers me though, i only end up on White Hazard ghost hazard or reactor hazard,100% of the time even if i host
WTF !
It s been at least 10 straight gold games.
I ended up on London geth for a plat yesterday

I have little respect for modding publics. even with a pre-warning in lobby I can't approve of it. Keep it private with friends.

I remember BunnyBoy having a nasty habit of trying to force his "improvement" mod onto people. Which was just a tweaked Diamond Difficulty mod IIRC.

This stuff is why I didn't quickmatch on my Alt. when doing my "Road to Best of the Best" series on youtube/twitch. Didn't want the account/journey dirtied by modders.

Joined my game at wave 8, was public but solo. They joined and ran out into the kill zone, refused to revive so I had to run out, used my last 2 ops packs which is annoying since I only had 1 gel left. They made no visible effort so I chalked it up to "new player". I quit the match because I wasn't wasting my time struggling through more waves with this handicap.

They joined my new lobby and that's when I saw their challenge points. I was like... someone who's played long enough to get that high of a CP shouldn't be playing to a level where I'm actually thinking "Dispenser is right to be angry, I understand how he feels"

So I checked their N7HQ... fuck sake....
So the following match they joined and I took to console commands to throw them out the airlock.

It's one thing to be bad at the game, we've all sucked at one point (or in my case continuing to suck), It's another thing to be so bad that you make the game harder for others. But cheating your way to being #17 for CP in the world, is just too much, I refused to play another match with him. Like I know leaderboards don't really matter that much but imagine this guy joins and you see the CP. Most people will think "oh, he's played a lot, he's gonna be a good player." I don't care for that deception, it gives people a false sense of comfort. Like "oh, this guy must be good, I can relax a bit in this match or try a different build."

It's annoying because lately I've been having trouble finding matches, so when it's solo or shit. I question why I still play. Think I'll just retire from this game once I break 200k CP (that's my current reason for playing, nice to have goals at max manifest)

true story: the other night I took the TSent out for a spin, and tried to Tech Armor a bunch of swarmers to entertain my squadmates at one point... only I died in the Ravager goo.

Disappointing.

Pugged into a gold game with two newbs on dagger hazard vs geth. It was going OK until they kept. Going. Into. The . Middle . And . Dying.

Playing as the sniper Drell adept, I had to solo out so. Many. Waves against..bullshit. Geth. Stagger.

Anyway I finally ran out of gels on wave 9.
