I posted a couple things on MECoop a while ago but I saw the typical reddit circle-jerk going on and left voluntarily.
They've reached a critical mass of idiocy so that they downvote things that are true but they don't like, and upvote things they like but aren't true.
Also, typical power-trippin' reddit mods hitting that double-standard button like it'll turn into a waifu pillow come to life.

I don't remember my last pug in one word. It was late, I was tired, but the group was good. Played my lil volus engineer w/PPR and ultralight scorpion. Did some pocket healing. At one point it was me and three juggernauts. *insert Perry Piper meme.*

Close it.
Couldn't find any golds, risked platinum. First lobby was a Goddess/Cerberus one, end of W1. The host then switched to W11, we extracted and I got the extraction credits. I gave myself full credits for that and searched again. This time it was an N7 1 with level X weapons, probably in the process of buying packs. I left, opened my own lobby and soloed it.

Collapse of Civilization was a great sub once, and actual information can still be found there occasionally. Use Reddit! I do, regularly. I never log in, I never comment, I just read what I'm looking for and I'm out. The benefits of posting are ruined by the bots, phonies, trolls and right cunts. |

I still have an account on facebook but I stopped keeping in touch since its technical side went to crap so much a couple months ago, now just checking a few groups once-twice per day. Social media overuse rots your brain anyway, if they don't exist in some old SF, I accept it as realistic under the assumption that people have moved on from them for this reason.

I just tried to play this game about 15 times, here's a summary of what happened -
1st Lobby: Dispenser, X and quit
2nd Lobby: I am magically the host of a URG lobby with three other players - I quick-matched for UUG. Sweet lobby coding there Biower. Quit lobby.
3rd Lobby: Dispenser again, he quit before I could X
4th: A GiP! A decent connection! Wrex! Oh, it's the end of wave 11, and ISeeDeadPugs quit the lobby immediately. Quit lobby.
5th: Modded Gold match, turbo speed everything. I love mods, and I think those of you who host modded public lobbies are twats. I said it. Twats.
6th: Wave 4 GiP, Platinum Geth Hydra. Where is the host?
He's behind the god-damned box on the ledge.

I hate it when I queue and wind up as host with someone already in the lobby.
Hell, I queued UUP and got GiP'd into a wave 1 condor. (I fucking hate FB:Condor.) I stuck through and we won, but guess what? I WAS THE FUCKING HOST!?!?!??!? I mean I clicked the button to queue for UUP and after a very short loading screen I got GiP'd... only, I was the host? There definitely wasn't any host migration either midway through. I was magically the host without even setting up the lobby. Bloody weird.

I wish you could blacklist people. I don't mind mods but I do hate mods like one-shot-kill or godmodes. Continually queuing into the same shit-mod platinum gets boring super fast. I also hate horde mods like the zombie one from a while ago that turn the whole match into a slow motion bugfest. No fun.
I went into a GiP yesterday in Glacier on the Vorcha Sentinel.(?the one with the flamer/cluster grenades.) Turned out it was set to unlimited ammo/nades. I did not stop throwing cluster grenades. I hit that button like it wasn't going to be there. Carpet bombed everything. The host left after the wave was done. I was actually having fun, oh well.

Ran into a awakened collector scumming it up in FB:Hydra a couple days ago too. On lolgold no less with two other teammates doing all the work. I just left.

All that said, I've still had way more good matches than bad the last month I've been back. Finding a platinum PC lobby late at night can be tough but I can usually find a gold. (Usually)
95% of the people help with objectives, pick people up, and generally play decently. (Or at least appear to be trying.) The biggest surprise lately has been the Reegar/AIU's. Normally I see them scorewhoring and doing nothing else. Then when they eventually drop across the map and can't get back up they ditch the match.
That hasn't happened once since I've been back. Oh sure some of em run off to kill things but they get use their gels, run back to pick people up, and help with objectives. I actually see more people helping with objectives on Plat than I do on Gold. (And the one silver I did was even worse.)
I'm starting to recognize some good players on consistently. A few with particularly good hosts too. And there have been some very nice people who've picked my overly-ambitious low fitness kits with AMIII's up a lot more than I've picked them up.

Lovely. Met a "new" player, I expect an alt of one of you, as they text chatted with me and used rockets in a very BSN manner. I started to fall in love when they rocketed swarmers at the end of wave 4. I started rocketing swarmers too, got a Cannibal by accident once which really saddened me. Bad Jedi. We played several nice runs, picked up good teammates, and had a little chat here and there with lots of melee between waves, especially on the Krogan run  Thanks (sic) "simplykaicel", I will try to find and add you |
